I had one seller who didn't ship on time. Swappa stepped in and made it good. Everything I have received has been exactly as described, and Swappa is there personally to help you out. They verify that phones haven't been blacklisted, quickly refund their part of the sales fee when things aren't right, and almost everything on there is a good deal.

I've used Swappa to purchase my last 3 devices. They way they ask for verification on phones that are being sold is what drew me to the site in the first place. It made me feel that much better about buying a used phone. I've only had to deal with their support staff once, but it was a pleasant and easy experience.
Their website is very clean and easy to navigate. Occasionally, I catch myself just seeing what's on the market because of how easy it is to use. Listing device specs on the page for the device is also a very nice touch.

Had a little trouble at first sending a comment due to being unable to get PayPal: verification, which as it turned out, wasn't even necessary to communicate with seller. My bad! Other than my inexperience, everything went perfectly. Item cost more on Swappa than it would have on eBay, but worth extra for the apparent (and realized) peace of mind regarding purchase safety, etc. Great item and great purchase experience with SWAPPA! This was my first experience on swaps, and I must say I am more than shocked with the qualities of this website. I am a eBay and Amazon shopper but after doing reviews and research on swappa... I learned that they check to make sure the phones are blacklisted and pictures must be provided and they have no time for the shenanigans. The seller I bought from, this was a new seller but during the entire transaction the seller was more than helpful. I love my iPhone!

So bought my first phone at Glyde a few years ago. Easy transaction and product, Decided to give them another shot this time, and can't believe the hassle. Made 4 purchases and every one was cancelled, and with each one the price went up. Customer service? Send them a message and you would be lucky to hear from them within a day.
Swappa was a completely different experience. Purchased a phone for less then Gllyde, and I got it in excellent condition in 4 days. Contacted the seller (Tetchy Tech) and got a response within a few hours.
I will see how it goes when I activate it with my carrier.

Bought 3 phones and everything went great. PayPal didn't like that I was buying a 4th family phone in two days and blocked my account. I think it is still blocked. After spending hours on/with PayPal, bought the 4th phone on Amazon at a higher price. Love Swappa, PayPal stinks!
I am always worried about buying used phones especially on Craigslist, I have been using swappa for years now and never had any problems and always great experiences. I definitely would recommend if you do not want to deal with Craigslist and blacklisted phones, swappa is the place to go.
The phone I got off Swappa was a great deal and matched the description exactly. Buying used technology can be iffy but using this site I felt if I had a problem it would be handled. Luckily there was no problem. I will be telling my friends to use Swappa.com.

Turning to eBay and Craigslist proved perilous and time-wasting for buying mobile phones. Blacklisted phones, junk devices, inefficient communication, and downright fraud plagued the antiquated marketplaces.
