Hi Peggy. If you receive a device that is not as advertised then you can return it for a refund. Our policy is that simple. Swappa staff works hard to prevent problems from happening, and PayPal has extensive buyer protections in case they do. Buy with confidence. Thanks for using Swappa.
Very safe, I've bought and sold over 40 phones using Swappa and have only had one problem... When that happened both Swappa and PayPal had my back.
Maybe. Swappa only initiates the contact with the seller. You may or may not get a refund, and you have to pay return shipping and insurance. If you don't get a refund, then the fight with PayPal begins and you may or may not win that battle. I just paid $600 for a phone, didn't get it and Swappa's advice, file a complaint with Paypal and they are saying it could take up to 60 days to resolve the complaint.
New, refurbished, or used. All electronics come with manufacture warranties still active so be sure to ask! Also swappa provides cheap cost damage insurance incase of accidents. Really good coverage 5 star
Hi Jonathan. Swappa only allows the sale of devices that are activation ready. If you were to receive a device that did not meet this criteria or was otherwise not as advertised then you would be entitled to a full refund. You cannot even guarantee you will be able to activate the phone and Swappa won't facilitate a refund from the seller. Buyer beware!
How quickly a listing sells depends on several factors, including price of the listing and popularity of the device being sold. Some listings sell very quickly, some take a few days. It just depends on what's being sold. When a listing is sold you'll be paid via PayPal immediately and are expected to ship to the buyer within two days.
