All devices were received promptly and in the exact condition that was described. The process is very clear all the way thru, and your transaction remains open until you've affirmed that you received the device and are fully satisfied. Customer service is attentive, so it doesn't feel like the wild west--I have confidence that if there were a problem, it would be quickly resolved. Price graphs show you when it's a good time to buy. Overall, I love Swappa and absolutely highly recommend it.

Shipping is always fast and there's any device from any carrier you can think of. The customer service is great, they respond quickly to any emails you send. I have used swappa a handful of times to buy cell phones. Most of those have been great experiences. Payment went well and item was shipped promptly and received as advertised. One experience though has made me cautious. I bought an iPhone 5s, paid and the item was never shipped. I asked for help but swappa simply referred me to PayPal who did not actually resolve the dispute. I ended up with no phone and no money. Just make sure you stay on top of the transaction if you do choose to use swappa.
I didn't know what to do when I had to replace my stolen phone. I considered ebay and craigslist but didn't want to spend all of my time shopping around. I discovered Swappa and was thrilled that I could make this process virtually painless. The seller was great and easy to communicate with, the swappa staff are incredible helpful and the phone arrived after 4 days of completing the transaction. It wasn't overnight, but shipping costs were included in sales price which made everything that much easier. While I hope I won't need a new phone anytime soon- I'll definitely be heading back to Swappa.

Showed that there are still people of integrity and honor out there. The device was in great condition as she mentioned, packaged with original box and accessories and even had a little surprise case that's durable and protects the phone well. She went the extra mile by helping me with carrier issues as well so I must say the experience was excellent! Swappa staff Brock H. Jumped in and helped clarify issues which made the deal flow even better. The phone even came 3 days before expected delivery. My expectations were exceeded and I would buy again.
I have purchased 4 phones from Swappa over the past few years and feel its the safest way to purchase used phones. The photos give a good overview and it is easy to research, compare phones and recent sales trends. I also appreciate that the sales are protected through PayPal. Its a great way to purchase a decent phone for much less that you would pay through one of the big carriers or a retail store.

Bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Received the phone super fast. It was just as described in the listing. There was however an issue with Samsung Activation lock.
I am glad i bought the phone from one of the best sellers i have ever dealt with. She was sincere and went all out in making sure the issue was resolved.

Really appreciated having Swappa moderators be readily available to monitor transactions when asked. VERY responsive. Phone that was purchased was poorly packaged by seller and incurred some cosmetic damage. No big deal, but it would have been downgraded at a lower cost if re-sold. Swappa pushed the seller to make right... a tool that wouldn't have been available on eBay etc.
Swappa is a step above that other auction site when it comes to cell phones. The requirements to list the phone on Swappa are everything that you'd normally try and discern from an auction listing. That saves time and increases the confidence in a purchase. Just decide the cosmetic condition and price point, then make the purchase. The staff is quick to respond as well. Will definitely purchase through Swappa again.
My daughter recently broke her phone. We aren't ready to upgrade yet, so I turned to a recommendation I had seen online for Swappa. Prices are in a pretty good range. Sorted by manufacturer, making it really easy to find what you are looking for. Shipping was fast and the phone is working great!
Swappa.com is great and I use it often, but be very aware of bulk sellers who do not use actual pictures of their items though, you may get a different device that was not as the one pictured, as I did. I will always buy from private sellers now as they must post pictures of the actual item.
After carefully reading the description and swappa's policies I decided to purchase a phone. When the phone arrived it was not in the condition as described. Swappa's customer service told me I had to take it up with the seller. Seller assumes no responsibility and explained they had a no return policy. Unfortunately, did not pay with PayPal and now have no recourse. Buyers beware, swappa's customer service is little help if something does go wrong.
I was skeptical at first but decided to take a leap of faith and I was not disappointed. I could have bought this phone brand new for full price but I took a chance and bought a used one and save $300+. And you can't even tell that this phone has ever been used. It's in pristine condition and works just as it should the day it was opened.

Turning to eBay and Craigslist proved perilous and time-wasting for buying mobile phones.
