I found Swappa because it was considered the definitive site for buying used gadgets, and after buying two phones, I can see why. The phones I got were practically new and I got exactly what I wanted out of them.
I tend to keep a phone longer than I should. A friend turned me on to Swappa. I was about to get one of LG's latest phones at 2/3 less than what my mobile provider is asking. Phone was in better condition than described and came with freebie items. Seller had excellent communication skills. I have already recommended to several people. This was a great shopping experience.
Needed a tablet for my four year old that I could manage content on. Really has two to three applications so I didn't need a ton of horsepower and rather than spend a significant amount of money on a new tablet I decided to look at Swappa. Perfect use case for it, spent 60 dollars on a 2012 Nexus 7. Arrived in 5 days, I locked it down and now my son can access Youtube for Kids and Kids Netflix. Highly recommend it.
I love this website, I buy most of my cell phones here. The prices are always so much better than buying brand new from the carrier, and I've never had any problems with the phone being different from advertised. Sellers are usually very good at responding to questions and shipping in a timely manner. I've never dealt with their customer service since I've never had any issues.

Swappa has been a great tech selling site, but I was disappointed to see the fees double. That makes it quite a bit more difficult for the seller to get to dollar. Maybe consider going back to $10? I am sure there is enough traffic to warrant this rate.
Was skeptical using this site due to a bad experience with another site, after doing some research i took the chance, and quiet frankly am shocked at how the product i received came it was like a brand new device, yes it may of been a use device but it seems to be well kept, i will keep a further update but so far am impressed.

I needed an updated phone, and one with software that spoke my language.. Having read many web reviews, I decided that a mint Samsung Galaxy was the way to go, and the price was terrific.
It shipped rapidly and arrived here in two days. It's perfect; I love it. I'm going to list my "old" phone, also in MINT condition, on Swappa and know that someone will appreciate it. It languished in the door-pocket of my car for a year and was seldom used or turned on.

Excellent customer service. Affordable phone. Simple transaction. With expedited shipping, I had my new phone in less than 24 hours. Condition matched or exceeded description and phone worked with the carrier specified. I would use Swappa again.
I bought an IPhone 6 plus and after a month and 3 weeks of having the phone I wake up in the middle of the night to check my phone and the screen is black and will not power on. So I take it to the Apple Store and they have no idea why it did this. Of course the phone is out of warranty now (my luck) The phone was in "mint" condition when it was bought. I never even dropped the phone or got near any water/liquid. Swappa will not do anything to help you get your money back. They boast about having no "junk phones" yet here I am looking crazy with a $450 paperweight.
Not much to say, found a decent phone for a good price. Good communication with the seller who was quick to respond with any questions I had. They did have a broad array of phones in all price ranges. Definitely where I will go for my next purchase or when it comes time to sell. Would, and have already, recommend Swappa to a friend.

Dropped my phone in water and lost hope of ever getting it back. Heard about Swappa selling good used phones, so I looked around. The search is so easy to work. I found the iPhone I want within a minute exactly how I want it and with the right carrier.
The actual process is very interactive, fast, and easy. After placing the order, I paid with PayPal. The seller contacted me right away confirming the shipping address. The next morning the package was sent out and I had my tracking code. The seller was outstanding. Kept me updated through the whole process through the comment section of the website. Shipping was fast, packaging was very secure, and Evan even threw in an extra charger!

I just purchased a Galaxy S7 that had only been used for 2 months on Swappa. I saved $250 compared to buying it new and it still has 10 months of the Samsung warranty left on it!
I had asked some questions of the Swappa staff both prior to and after my purchase and they always responded within a couple of hours of my posting the question. I looked for phones on Ebay as well but was much more comfortable buying through Swappa because they do a lot to try and ensure no one advertises faulty or blacklisted phones on their site.

I've been buying and selling on swappa since the galaxy nexus was a relevant device. Just bought my 4th or 5th phone on there and I still can't find any reason to complain. The staff keep things in order and well maintained, the sellers and buyers are always pleasant and easy to deal with. Shipments are fast and prices are competitive.
I have bought 2 phones and sold 1 phone using Swappa. Have had great experience every time. The phones are lightly used in some cases but clearly stated in the sellers description if necessary. Last phone I bought was in great condition. The best part is the prices for the phones can't be beat. I've tried using Craigslist, Ebay, Gazelle, etc. and none are as easy and offer the fair prices I've seen on Swappa. Just posted another phone for sale today. Very easy! I also recommended to my friends and they are just as surprised at how easy and inexpensively you can get the phones.
