Swappa generally enjoys a positive reputation for offering a reliable platform for buying and selling used electronics, with many users appreciating the thorough vetting of devices and the ease of transactions. Wide selection of products at good prices and in great condition. I've bought AirPods and an iPhone from swappa and was 100% satisfied with both. Will definitely use again. Highly recommended.
Hello, Swappa!
I really enjoy your website. I've bought several items from you and have never had a problem. Your customer service has been excellent and prompt. Continue your excellent work!
The software is simple to use, providing everything in one spot. Upload photos of your phone or tablet, explain its features and accessories, detail any damage or flaws, set a price, and accept or reject buyer offers. The app also includes a ranking system that allows you to rate buyers based on their communication skills and professionalism.
Swappa is an excellent marketplace. Used devices sell best there. I sold my old phone for $50 and bought a new one for $100 in hours. Swappa's great.
The website is very simple and easy to use. Excellent encounter. I purchased a laptop, which works flawlessly. The items were shipped quickly and arrived in excellent condition.
You can find used iPhones, iPads, and other Apple products on Swappa. It's also a great way to save money and get a new iPhone or iPad when you want one. Swappa is cheaper than buying from an Apple Retail Store and even cheaper than buying from eBay.
They have the best prices in the business, and their customer service is top-notch.
A seller sold me a STOLEN or LOCKED phone EASILY VERIFIABLE by Swappa staff. Swappa refused to consider that the item was, in fact, unusable, and insisted I provide impossible to obtain proof (a printed document from Verizon themselves claiming the phone was unusable).
I gave the IMEI number, suggested giving Verizon a call or going online to their website to effortlessly check the IMEI number to confirm my legitimate complaint. They REFUSED.
You sold stolen/misrepresented goods, asked the buyer to jump through hoops, and refused to make the smallest of efforts to resolve the issue.
I can only assume the staff at Swappa want to create a space where buyers and sellers just don't want to deal with the headache and Swappa can continue collecting their fees.
Also, because I happened to use this POS site, I'm out 10 dollars to return this item to a thief and liar? If I never knew about Swappa, I would be 10 dollars richer. Unbelievable.
Never use this site. It's only a matter of time until you suffer as I did.
Easy to work with people, good organization, and solidly put together website.organised website and easy to use
I have purchased multiple phones (5 or 6) over the past ten years. Swappa stepped in once when I had an issue over the unlocked phone not being quite fully unlocked; I appreciated their quick response to my request for assistance! Other than that incidence (which was quickly resolved), my purchases have been received as advertised. I appreciate Swappa's high standards for tech resale and have always felt like my devices ranked alongside their posted standards protocols (mint, good, etc.). I've purchased 2 iPhones and at least 3 androids (LGs and Samsungs)... all sales were more than satisfactory! I will continue to go to Swappa for needed tech.
I canceled a listing, but yet Swappa approved it and reactivated it.
It then sold, of course I had to refund the buyer but PayPal do NOT refund seller fees anymore. So I lost $30 thanks to this.
Swappa did not care and blamed me.
Ten years of selling on this site, but Swappa scammed me.

Buyer beware!
At first glance, it gives the impression that it is a warehouse of digital equipment, but after getting acquainted with the details, there are very attractive offers and the negotiated price is reasonable. I bought a laptop, it works perfectly. The main thing is not the first impression, but the result. Thank you.
Swappa is a big scam. I bought a phone an to this day I have not received the device or a refund. I made numerous attempts in getting on to the seller and SWAPPA but no response. They are a big scam. Swappa team are all about themselves. The seller claimed that the phone would be returned to them and they would refund but no response to this day. THEY ARE BIG SCAMMERS. DO NOT USE SWAPPA
A seller was required per Swappa return policy to refund return shipping and insurance cost of the unusable MacBook Pro he sold to me. Here's the policy:
Swappa's policy on the cost of return shipping:
"If an item is received in an unusable state and must be returned, the seller is responsible for reimbursing return shipping costs to the buyer to remain in good standing. For example, the device is blocked and/or cannot be activated."
When he refused and disappeared, Swappa let him get away with it. Furthermore, they also refused to refund me.
So the seller is let off the hook simply because he didn't respond. He clearly sold me a laptop that didn't meet Swappa requirements, and now I have to pay for his mistake.
I tried twice times to list a phone on Swappa. Not my first time there either. First time, an idiot employee re-categorized my phone as one that it was not. I couldn't edit the listing so I deleted it and started over. Next, another idiot employee criticized my photos saying their little "ID" was improperly positioned, when (a) I had done it that way before and (b) it was fine according to their own rules. Next, another idiot employee CANCELED the listing after I uploaded NEW photos saying there was a screen defect (which there was not). In each case, I had NO chance to respond directly to these complaints. So I sent them a heated email taking issue with each of the above-mentioned problems. In response, they simply said, "you have violated our rules so you cannot use Swappa," and they disabled my account. They would not respond to my email. I have attempted to contact their CEO, Ben Edwards, several times and he won't answer either.
Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass ich bei Ihnen bestelle, es ist sehr angenehm, mit Ihnen zu arbeiten, danke für den Service und die schnelle Lieferung
I have used them 2 times. On both occasions I received a defective phone that was advertised in good condition and in all working order. This last time I requested that a comparable phone be sent out to me before I return the one I have with the busted camera. This way I wouldn't have to go without a phone throughout the process. The seller (savegadget) said no. I wish they would increase their quality testing on these phones, or at the very least, take care of the customer when they send out junk. Ended up giving back market.com my business. Won't be back.
Had an issue with a seller selling me a defective phone. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is a real law since 1975 and they will not acknowledge it. I have been denied refund and I have been kicked off the site for complaining. They are making up policies that written no where!
**** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK *** NO REFUNDS FOR DEFECTIVE ITEMS, SWAPPA WILL NOT HELP IF SELLER DOES NOT COOPERATE.
Der Mitarbeiter rief mich zurück und gab mir alle Informationen über die Lieferzeiten und die Verfügbarkeit, der Service gefiel mir, und auch die Preise waren angemessen. Der richtige Weg zur Arbeit!
So amazing product with great features. Its very easily to service are so good and very reasonable price to products are available on this website.

Answer: Very safe, I've bought and sold over 40 phones using Swappa and have only had one problem... When that happened both Swappa and PayPal had my back.
Answer: Yes, you should remove and keep your SIM card when you sell your used phone. SIM cards are tied to your account, so are not transferable. More information and why in our FAQ: https://swappa.com/faq/sell/sim_card_included
Answer: Because they are scammers and a holes. They can't be bothered with you. Awful site. Use eBay instead.
Answer: Swappa guarantees it which goes above and beyond paypal. They are running IMEI checks and they do a great job. It's on you when you receive your phone to go through the phone check list to make sure it's good, checking cameras, microphones wfi, bluetooth, water damage check, things like that. Its really worry free buying.
Answer: Contact Swappa support. If an item is not as described by seller, the buyer is entitle to a refund.
Answer: Most sellers don't ship to African countries. This is because they include a reasonable fee on their prices to cover for shipping in the US, I guess shipping to Africa would come at a higher cost and they seem to be avoiding that for whatever reason. However, you can research and register for a freight forwarding company and have your orders shipped to them. In turn, these companies will forward your order to you when they receive it. As I pointed out before, this is something you have to read about and carefully consider. Hope that helps.
The place to buy and sell newish tech. Safety, simplicity and staff-approved listing make Swappa the better way to buy and sell used phones, tablets, laptops, video games, home tech and more.
