My card was charged without my permission and I never stayed at the hotel... they would not give me a refund... I had to cancel my card and get a new one! Never even stated the hotel... Make sure you get what you want because they will not give you refunds and they have the worst customer service ever!
How to get my lawyer involved
While using the app it kept changing the dates in which I wanted to stay. I had to triple check the booking to make sure it was for the night I needed. Pretty shady considering everything is non refundable. Ramada Inn Fresno. Hotel is fine, Snaptravel is not.

A friend and I were traveling to Lake Havasu Arizona. I booked a room for a two night stay (Wednesday & Thursday) at the Days Inn Lake Havasu by Wyndham. Check in March 23rd, check out March 25th. When I booked the room, the charge was $80 per night plus tax & fees (just under $90 per night). To split the charges with my travel friend, I took a screenshot of the room cost after I booked the reservation. When I got the charge on my credit card statement the room charges were now $86.15 per night... NOT $80.00 as when I booked them. The taxes and fees were an additional $30.16 (not sure what all about as Snaptravel will not assist in telling me what the breakdown is. I did ask for that several times when I called their company twice. I do believe the "tax" rate for the "tax" portion is equal to 9%, but not sure what all the other costs are, as when I booked the reservation that was not part of the disclosed total cost amount. To top all of that off, they through in an additional $3 "tip" for themselves. This is not for the hotel or going to the hotel, this is a "snuck in" fee that Snaptravel attempts to get just for themselves. A grand total of $205.47. What a dishonest thieving company. At the hotel, we got our own towel replenishment, did not have any housekeeping done, and left a cash tip in the room when we checked out. Let me point out, the Days Inn hotel and staff were great, the problem is with the third party booking company... Snaptravel. Snaptravel agreed to refund the $3.00 (they knew they were caught trying to steal). After speaking with two different customer service people (out of the country call center I believe... but not sure) and getting tired of them saying that the charges are non-refundable because they are already charged. They kept stating that they "understood" but obvious to me that they really did not "understand". They were just reading to me off of a list of replies that they are supposed to reply to the "caller" with. I asked to speak with a manager or a supervisor and they immediately hung up on me. BAD DISHONEST BUSINESS DEALING TYPE COMPANY----STOLE MY MONEY-$$$---BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE----TRAVELER BEWARE!

I reserved a room with Snaptravel for a hotel in Atlanta. I received the confirmation number and email that stated that my reservation was reserved and all I had to do was tell the front desk staff at the hotel my name. My name was not reserved for a room. I had to contact Snaptravel's helpdesk for assistance. It was almost 2 hours before I was able to check-in. I was on the verge of canceling my reservation before the front desk confirmed that my reservation had finally been approved. I went back and forth with what has to be an automated text system and kept telling they were on the phone and trying to correct my reservation. I will never ever use Snaptravel again and I don't recommend that anyone else does either. The front desk staff advised against using SnapTravel and stated that they didn't have a number to contact them.

We booked a room in Blackhawk, Colorado through Snap Travel. I looked up the ratings of Snap Travel the day we were leaving and then was concerned that we would have issues. I was. Pleasantly surprised and we did not have any problems. Our room was beautiful, great views. The travel agency also requested a late checkout for us. My husband said we had booked through Snap Travel once before and we did not have any issues that time either. I would definitely use them again. They also sent me text updates and directions to our hotel.
Don't trust the quotes for hotel room rates from them, they quoted me one price and charged my CC a lot more after I booked the room.
Book instead thru Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Trivago etc.

Booked a 9 night hotel stay for my family after finding a good deal through their website. Luckily, before departure I contacted the hotel to get confirmation of my reservation and hotel indicated that it had already been cancelled. Snaptravel refused to rectify the issue and instead offered a refund. I was left with nonrefundable airline reservations so no option but to rebook the hotel with another site for thousands more. When you reach out to their agents, your message is randomly routed to a new agent every time. It is impossible to reach their 'ammendments team', with whom I was dealing with on the issue originally (this 'team' is the only group that can actually try to resolve issues with your reservation) Literally, it is not possible to reach them you have to wait for them to reach out to you, and when they do reach out to you and you reply, sometimes your message gets routed back to a random person that isn't on that team. Absolutely rediculous. Sure glad I called the hotel for confirmation, if it was up to SnapTravel I would have showed up to the hotel with my wife and two children on arrival day and found out my reservation was cancelled at that time.

On May 2,2021, I booked a hotel room ( Moscow, Diplomat Residence), made a payment. Later, when I arrived at the hotel, they told me that the reservation was not found, after which they refused to check in, I had to drive half the night to the overnight accommodation. I wrote to support, but they could not help me in any way, saying that they could not get through to the hotel, I think, after all, these are not my problems. For exactly a year, I have been trying to get a refund, it turns out that it remains only to solve this issue through the court.

A very nice guest came to our hotel to check in and we didn't have her reservation. We searched for all dates. We searched by the confirmation number Snaptravel gave her. We could find nothing. After multiple calls to Snaptravel, we were able to talk with someone. When we asked Snaptravel to cancel the charge on her credit card, they told the guest that they would cancel everything except the tip she gave. She hadn't even checked in yet. She would have no reason to tip. The poor woman was at the desk nearly 40 minutes. I can see why their reviews are so scathing.

Do not book through here. I booked a room at La Quinta and when I arrived at the location, I was told that snap travel had not applied the payment (even though they immediately took it from my account). Two hours of snap calling the hotel attempting to use different payment methods and nothing worked. I was connected with a supervisor who told me he'd applied a $73 dollar credit and refunded what they'd taken from me, I attempted to book another hotel for the night with the credit, only to receive a message stating that I can't apply the credit directly while booking a room? NEVER AGAIN
I guess you get what you pay for, worse customer service I've ever received.

I booked a hotel at the Doubletree Hilton near EWR for my son who was visiting a college. We would meet him the next day (driving in for the visit, he flew in from another city). Apparently, the hotel has a policy of not letting anyone <21 stay there, leaving my 19 yo son stranded. There was no indication of this policy on Snaptravel's site and they don't seem to be competent enough to refund our costs for a hotel we were unable to use. AVOID!

I paid for the ticket with my credit card. The next day I was asked to take a picture of my drivers license and front and back of my credit card! This was too suspicious for me and I asked to refund back. They send me a few emails back and forth but I never got the refund back.

They talk down to you and even when their website is wrong and they book your room different than what you picked online, they refuse to help you fix it. They threaten you with nonrefundable and if the hotel wants them to call and cancel they will not. They ask for a written letter from the hotel. Really the worst travel site around. You think you are saving money and you truly are not, you are not getting what you think you paid for and then they have the nerve to ask for a huge tip because they tried to help save you money.
