It was my first time using Snap Travel to book an airline ticket. Thought I give it a try. I had bought an Air Canada ticket from them as my father was sick in India. Unfortunately due to covid19 I was unable to check in at the airport. I called Snap Travel well ahead and told them I can't travel because of the circumstances. I spoke to 3 different representatives and they all advised me that we cannot do anything. I even asked for a voucher, I spent $1300. It was harsh since they should have understood with global issue of travelling and my situation. My father actually passed away days after and I couldn't travel. Finally I reached out to Air Canada ONLY ONCE and they offered for a voucher which would expire in 2yrs. Snap Travel could have done the same but they didn't. I would NOT RECOMMEND SNAP TRAVEL to anyone!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

Can not get a hold of anyone after you purchase Hotel Reservations

Our trip was cancelled due to Coronavirus. Flights, Cruise, transfers through other companies were rescheduled no problem very quickly

Do not use SnapTravel.com and their sister site Despegar.com

Non existent Customer service

They ignore emails, cancellation forms, phone calls

SnapTravel.com and their sister site Despegar.com are taking Advantage of people during a Global Coronavirus Pandemic, refusing to reschedule or Refund and should be ashamed of themselves. Theft!

Once they have your money you LOSE it

Worst ever
March 5, 2020

My son and daughter in law were on vacation and their plans fell through they booked a room with snap travel and paid extra for refundable and breakfast. They found a place to stay and when she went to cancel the reservation it was suddenly non refundable. I would bot recommend them to anyone and will continue to make sure everyone knows not to use them. It really wasn't a better deal and priceline is much better!

Snaptravel didn't make my reservation after paying them. When I arrived the hotel had no record of my reservation made 24 hours prior. 50 minutes later, after texts and phone calls, the hotel finally received the data from Snaptravel. I gave them 2 stars because I believe that the support people were sincere in their desire to help. They also gave me credits for future reservations in their service, but I won't use it again.
