I booked a classic room after I was given a choice of the room or a Glamping tent with NO bathroom. I paid for the room, received a confirmation email that I would be in a room and I was switched to a tent. The weather was cold, windy, with expected snow. No one at snaptravel would respond to my request for refund since I did not get what I paid for.
They charge a whopping 20% extra a their business cost, direct bookings to hotels may be cheaper.
Awful customer service, would not refund the difference.

I will never use Snaptravel again. I suggest if you use their service be sure to watch for location and date before booking they are baiting and switching on dates and will not refund your agenda

After booking through Snaptravel, I arrive at the hotel only to find that the card they use to reserve is expired. After speaking with them a few times and having to sit in the lobby, not being allowed in my room until it was resolved, I was finally able to complete the reservation. What was the compensation for my hassle and inconvenience? Twenty percent off of my next booking. Nothing for the reservation that they screwed up. Why in the world would I go through this company again? It was not worth the hassle. Never again.

Stay away. Nightmare company. Booked a room and the hotel was sold to another chain. Had to pay the new chain upon arrival. I have been trying to get a refund since December and they told the credit card company I canceled the reservation. Total lie. I have spoken to 15 or more people that read the same script every time to no avail. Supervisor can only be spoken to after they call her and she said to open a PayPal act so they could refund me. Still waiting. Book directly with the hotel at least you can speak to someone who has thee authority to help.

Guys - let me tell you... this company is beyond belief! This is the only company I know in the universe in which when you call the customer service for booking air tickets - they can only serve when the agent you first spoke to is in shift. If this is convoluted, let me explain - you call the phone line, someone ABC speaks to you. He/she promises to get back to you with the rates. When he doesn't you call back again only to speak to XYZ and hear and I quote "Sorry, ABC hasn't started the shift. So please call back when he's back. His work schedule is 9am to 6pm" I kid you not! The space is probably not enough for me to mention what ensued afterwards. But they are so so atrocious that I let go of my 500USD (510.16$ to be exact) with them just so that I don't ever have to interact with them again. The airline price they quoted me was about 300$ more than what I found via a simple google search. And this price was on the airlines website not a 3rd party aggregator. I looked up their CEO only to find him boasting that this is a 1BN$ company, on twitter! Reading that I am also planning to get 2 extra phone connections for my house and then just fool people by changing voices saying I am yet to start my shift - yeah so pretty much the same modus operandi as Snaptravel and if all goes well maybe I will come back to this place to tell you that my 2 landlines are now worth 1BN$ too!

I was in the hotel lobby and they quoted like $150 in the lobby. I found a rate for $126 online at snaptravel.
Booked a room for $126. Then went back in the lobby and the hotel says that my credit card was not charged by snaptravel so we have to pay the $126 at the hotel. So we pay the hotel $126. Credit card statement shows $126 charged at hotel and $147 charged by Sitetravel. I called sitetravel and waste 45 minutes of my time with guy telling me there is nothing they can do and call the hotel. And I ask why were we charged more than what I purchased and then double charged. He says fees. Then I find sitejbabber that many people have been scammed by this company. It's a scam.
So i could have just paid $150. Instead trying to save $20 spent $273. And then time and frustration.

I gave this company a quick Google, booked, and then got a slightly sketchy looking confirmation. So, I looked again, and saw this 1 star. I totally panicked. And everything was just fine. I had booked a same-day reservation, and when it said that it could take 3 hours to show up at my hotel, and then I saw the negative reviews, I freaked. I called Best Western about 15 minutes after getting a Snaptravel confirmation, and it was in their system. No issues. Based on the number of negatives, they obviously have some issues, but I have to say, I had no problems at all, so figured I'd post..
I booked a hotel in Aria resort &casino in march 5-6, when i arrived hotel, they hotel tell me the date was march 25-26, this is means, snaptravel did wrong date booking, and i call the snaptravel for 2 hours, they are waste my time and without do nothing, i spend $800 dollar booked a room directly,
And snaptravel didn't refund me for their mistake,
They tell me they can do nothing for me, only 1 option is i go back in march 25-26 use that reservation, again,I check with the hotel ,they don't have my name and phone number on the MArch 25-26, contact snaptravel again spend over 3 hours, they told me, they can do nothing also
Anyone can accept this, spend lot of money and time contact with snaptravel and you didn't get nothing, never ever use the snaptravel, only lose money, time.

Snaptravel was able to help me save on a last minute trip to Phoenix. All the hotels were super expensive or sold out and Snaptravel was able to quickly and efficiently help me find a great rate on a hotel for the weekend. Will definitely use again!
I booked a hotel and changed the reservation name and confirmed it with snaptravel who confirmed it with the hotel. I got to the hotel and they wouldn't let me in because they said the name on the reservation had not been changed. I have text proof of snaptravel saying they talked with a woman at the front desk who confirmed the change. I spent over $600 to stay at the hotel and ended up not staying there due to snaptravels lack of communication with the hotel. I have been trying to get my money back and talked with 30 different agents at snaptravel and was told 5 different times a snaptravel supervisor will call me, but have yet to receive a call. I have learned to NEVER BOOK THROUGH SNAPTRAVEL EVER AGAIN! It is a scam and I do not trust them with my money.

Very disappointed and feel scammed. I booked a hotel with Snaptravel but had to pay hotel directly when we arrived. I called Snaptravel and they said that we would be refunded, however no refund was ever received.

Avoid this company at all costs. Had a guest make a reservation with snaptravel only to have them try to scam them of money. Guest wanted to cancel with snaptravel since the virtual card provided to hotel was declining. Snaptravel agreed to cancel. Called the hotel (me) to cancel. I agreed to cancel no charge. Snaptravel then called customer back stating hotel (me again) was requiring a 50% cancelation fee. Guest was only able to get a full refund after coming back down to lobby while still on the phone with snaptravel and having me call them out for lying.

We had to cancel plans due to COVID and despite documentation from the hotel itself stating they would allow the refund, they were unable to refund out trip. They also charged a $30 change request fee, so that takes the hotel room (that wasn't used) from $350 to now $380. The "contact" options are an absolute joke. Chatting was the only option available despite listing a number which got you nowhere. Then while chatting it took over 10 minutes to get a response to practically anything I sent. I will never, ever book with this site again and will warn everyone I know to steer clear as well. Absolutely ridiculous!

I have been trying to rebook a cancelled flight for last 2 months with 100+ email back and forth. I am completely drained with the back and forth and the delay. They talk down to you and even when their website is wrong and they book your room different than what you picked online, they refuse to help you fix it. They threaten you with nonrefundable and if the hotel wants them to call and cancel they will not. They ask for a written letter from the hotel. Really the worst travel site around. You think you are saving money and you truly are not, you are not getting what you think you paid for and then they have the nerve to ask for a huge tip because they tried to help save you money.
