I'm writing this review while I have been sitting in the hotel lobby trying to check in to my room. Apparently from what LA Quinta says is they have not received payment from Snaptravel and until I do they cannot check me in. Snaptravel has already taken my money, and I have be sitting here for over 30 minutes waiting to get help from Snap Travel. When you call you get a very non helpful person who says they will call you back. They never did. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! You will be spending more time fighting with these people than being in your room
They refused to give me a refund on my hotel.
This was at the very beginning of Covid.
My son and whole team were
Traveling for a soccer tournament and everything was cancelled at the last minute. Every other parent, every other hotel and 3rd party services were very accommodating or

Booked a room in Vegas. As with most Vegas bookings there is a resort fee as well as other fee's. Although this is already known, most other booking services will include additional fee's in the price. This company doesn't and doesn't make it very clear that you will have to pay a resort fee upon checking in at the hotel. Don't think you save any money by booking thru this service. On top of it, the booking is non refundable.

On 11/7/2021 I unknowingly booked a room at DisneyWorld's Swan Hotel through Snap Travel. I thought I was speaking to the hotel itself--the messaging on Google was confusing. My bad, but boy did I pay the price. At 5:30 pm EST on Nov. 7, I booked five nights (2/18-2/23/2021) at the hotel for $393/per night. When the reservation agent was confirming the reservation, I realized that she had mistakenly booked only four nights. She put me on hold for three-four minutes to rebook the extra night, and when she returned she told me that the price had jumped in that period to $487 per night. When I asked her to honor her original price--after all, this was her mistake--she said she couldn't. When I called Snap Travel to complain about this, the agent said she couldn't help and then refused four times to put me through to her manager. This took about fifteen minutes. When she finally did put me through, the manager (Michelle) was unavailable. Then ensued about 10 days of back and forth on phone and by email, with Michelle never answering the phone when I tried to return a missed call. She insisted that she couldn't refund the balance ($470). In the end she gave me a credit of $100. I have rarely waded through such a miasma of horrific service for such an unsatisfactory result. If you care at all about your money, under no circumstances entrust it to this company. To me, they are borderline fraudulent. Please be aware that this website charges in USD! When I was booking with them, I made sure I changed the currency to CAD to avoid conversion fees, so I know exactly how much I am paying for, but they still charged me in USD, with conversion fees of course. So I ended up paying more, even when it says - Total (includes all taxes and fees, quoted in CAD). Their website gives you an option to change to a different currency - CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, other than USD. What is that option for, then?! And then the customer service will tell you, it is on the agreement, on the fine print! They have 23 paragraphs of fine print! They should have put that VERY IMPORTANT information right next to or below the Total Price! Very deceitful! Never will I book through Snaptravel again!

I booked a hotel through SnapTrave. My reservation SPECIFICALLY said: "Room cost paid in advance. There will be NO additional charges or fees for the room. When I got to the hotel I got to pay a 40 $ "Facilities fee". I find this FALSE ADVERTISING!. I complained to SnapTravel and they told me that "we only have limited information we have for more details about the charges from the hotel. Sometimes the information you're looking for can be found under the "about" section of each hotel specific page or you can confirm the other charges from the hotel." So they DO offer the best price but BEWARE, when you get to the hotel, ANYTHING can be charged.

Snap travel is the absolute worst! We booked with them for our AZ trip. Leading up to the trip we contacted the hotel to confirm our booking and was advised that Hotelbeds.com (booked through snap travel) had canceled our booking, when we called snap travel we were advised that the booking was still good. We went back and forth for over two weeks with the hotel and snap. When we arrived at the hotel there was no booking for us. at this time the funds had been taken out of our account for our booking that didn't exist. We ended up having to book through another company and ended up paying twice (Over $1600) for one stay. To this day we have not received a refund from snap and am still struggling with our bank to try to be reimbursed as it was fraud. DO NOT BOOK WITH SNAP!

BEWARE OF THEIR BILLING! I booked through SnapTravel, upon check-in, told the desk clerk of my reservation, gave her my ID and credit card=standard procedure when checking into a hotel. After leaving=SnapTravel charged me (standard) BUT THE HOTEL CHARGED ME ALSO AND HAS REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME. THEY GET PAID VIA TRAVEL AGENCIES... THEREFORE, THEY GOT PAID TWICE! THE HOTEL AND SNAPTRAVEL BOTH TOLD ME THE OTHER IS TO REIMBURSE ME. In other words=WE GOT YOUR MONEY, HA, HA, HA, HA!

I missed my connection in Denver; hotels were hard to find. Did a quick Google search and SnapTravek was competing with the big names Priceline, Orbit, etc. I took the bait. Got to the hotel after midnight only to find I had no reservation. They charged my card 3X! Thankfully Barclay MC took it off but I warn any now - they're scammers 100%

We had a hotel booked in downtown ottawa and we could not go there because the police has blocked access to downtown ottawa due to the freedom convoy occupying ottawa and the operation that the police is doing to take care of it. So we had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances. Snaptravel refused to given refund or credit given the circumstances which any normal service would happily do for you. They asked me to call the hotel and ask for refund. Hotel agreed on 1 night refund. I told snaptravel to call them and they said they called them and hotel said no. They provided a name that doesn't even work at the hotel so obviously they are lying. And we are talking about a small amount like 250 CAD. Worst service ever. Don't ever use them. They are cheap for a reason.

Be aware, LOOKOUT! We booked a room for the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista, Orlando, Fl. For 2 nights. We received an email confirmation, at check in there was no room for us. Snaptravel did not contact Sheraton and we had NO place to stay. Our 3 year old grandson was with us, we couldn't find a hotel room ANYWHERE in the Orlando area! Snaptravel charged my account immediately upon booking! No answer from customer service at all!

WHEN I GOT THERE IT WAS A DUMP. THE ROOM WAS FILTHY, ROACHES, MICE, WINDOWS BROKEN SO FREEZING AIR GETS IN. RATS IN THE RESTROOM. HOMELESS PEOPLE IN THE KITCHEN AREA ALL DAY AND NIGHT. THE RADIATOR WAS SO LOUD AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT, I HAD TO LEAVE THE NEXT DAY AND FORFEIT $230.00 AFTER THE MANAGEMENT WOULD NOT CONTACT ME FOR A REFUND. NIGHTMARE. Arrived to my hotel that i booked a week prior with snaptravel and to my surprise they had NO RESERVATION at all under my name. My friend had the same issue for his booking with snaptravel. Left us both for dead. Never called us back after they were going to "call" the hotel. For what purpose? Idk it was fully booked already as the front desk agent stated. Every single hotel in orlando was fully booked and they never called us back. Had to drive back all the way to Miami because we had nowhere to stay. Messed up our entire vacation. Customer support is non existent, just same replies over and over. Over 6 hours waiting for a call back and nothing. I was told 15 minutes to call back. If i dont receive a refund soon i will do a chargeback. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE TO BOOK PLEASE USE REPUTABLE SITES

I book 2 night stay at Hilton Miami Downtown, the 2nd night at hotel above our room the was party from 11pm-3am, so the management at hotel give credit for the 2nd night and Snaptravel they are denying the credit

You think you are saving money and you truly are not, you are not getting what you think you paid for and then they have the nerve to ask for a huge tip because they tried to help save you money.
