Their domain registration information is incorrect, the "abuse team" probably takes the complaints right into the trash, no action is being taken to stop criminal hacking activities in their network. America's Finest... They should be shut down for supporting criminal activities and ignoring their obligations to act on complaints.
Sudenlink damaged my main sewer line to the main from the city.
They have not ever returned my calls that have been going on for over a month.
My business can not operate without restrooms'. The damage is documented with West Cedar Creek utility. We have camera inspections that show the damage. I get the same answer every time I call. Someone will get back in touch?
Unfortunately Suddenstink is the ONLY internet provider in our area. I really wish they would let other companies come in and give them a run for their money! I live in a town where I think 95% of us, if not more, would jump ship and go with anyone else. Service cuts out all the time, they charge WAY TOO much for their crappy service and their customer service is a complete joke. You can't even go into a store to cancel anything, you can only do that by calling "customer service". How this company is still in business is beyond me :(

We got all excited when the Suddenlink Sales Rep knocked on our door! I don't have a problem with the TV, the internet service or sales! The first main guy that came to install our service ripped our vent off of our house because, he didn't want to take his behind under the house! I would have had more respect for him if he had just said that he didn't want to go under the house. Between my husband and myself we have talked to 7 different people all promising to do something with 24 hours. 3 WEEKS later my vent is still unrepaired and at this point Trouble Shooter sounds like my only option!

Ever since suddenlink sold there company my internet quality has been absolute $#*!, some of the worst internet i've ever had. It constantly randomly cuts out or just lags.
I have not had any issues with Suddenlink and have been very pleased - until Covid-19 hit. It seems like many channels I would like to watch are not supported. Most recently, I wanted to access some movies on Free Form (not supported) so I went to the SuddenLink website to find out how to get access. The only option is to call in. Live chat is not working. I don't want to sit on hold for hours during my holiday weekend - I would like to spend that time with my daughter. I wish Suddenlink would have more options for access to customer service. Phones are outdated. Being an internet provider, one would think they would provide a working online support option.
I have been waiting on new service for 2 weeks since relocating. Poor communication, poor customer service, and they have been paid in full since 6/13/2022. Please explore all options before choosing Sudden link for service. The 1st tech told me to go get firesticks because the job would take too long. The attorney general needs to be notified of their practice. If I am having all these issues I am sure the elderly and disabled customers experience the same service.
I've been trying for almost 8 months to get the service and billing straightened out. When you call you get the same story that we have given credit and there is nothing more we can do for you. They applied a late fee when I paid the bill on time and refused to remove it. The same story applies to several companies who outsource their customer care number to non English speaking countries. Stay away from this company! You have many choices for internet and tv service that will provide better service with decent customer service. Beware of the SUDDENLINK fraud advertisement. If I could give zero stars I would.
Suddenlink it all started on the day of installation the technician was drinking I could tell he didn't even install the box Suddenlink said they would comp me for that month and was promised $100 prepaid visa card that I never received their response I was late on a payment a payment that I was comped for I have to reboot my router daily because their Internet keeps failing Suddenlink is the worst service I've ever experienced in my life their customer service is rude and obnoxious if you ever need Internet run away from Suddenlink they are the worst provider You could ever imagine
I waited for 3 folks to put in a phone. No one came was at the door all daound 9 that night waly. I call them around 5 that day. They told me they would get someone to come after I told them they lied to me. Some one did come walked in plug one thing in and was done. They told me they would not charge me the 25.00 but they did You can read all the reviews and see what I read. Keep on lieing your pants are on fire. How can this people sleep
I've been getting charged a $10/month leasing fee for the modem that I bought myself for the past year. Didn't find out about it until we moved, and now they are saying that it is too late to get my money back. Their customer service is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. It's not worth the trouble that I've been put through to say $30/month versus getting Plateau.
I would not recommend Suddenlink for cable service (for those of us who still have cable). Unfortunately, I live in an area where I don't have a choice for internet/cable providers. How they managed to monopolize is beyond me. The service is horrible, their billing protocol and procedures are ridiculous. They will disconnect your service prior to the due date of your bill if there is ANY past due balance on your account. They do not allow you to make payment arrangements. I've never heard of any company doing business like this. The 1 star is too much for them.
1. They held my payment check for a week then charged a late fee. (I feel like they are forcing paperless billing or autopay!)
2. I have cancelled a hidden charge twice but am still charged.
3. After several Internet related complaints they sent a technician to fix it. He was surly and rude to my wife.
4. I am paying for 400mps but never get over 25mps.
5. They know that they are the only game in town!

My door was knocked on 4 times to be told what was being done its been 3 weeks and they finally bury the cable the so called foreman barely spoke english wouldnt listen and when told of critical time of service being down he just shook his head Suddenlink doesnt care about its customers if your pay on time any problems is a slow response however if you dont pay they cut off your service thats the only thing they do quickly
I put in a move in late July cause I'm moving on Aug 31st. Only July 29th, they disconnected my services for some reason and I had to call twice to get what I thought would be my cable and internet reconnected as I hadn't moved yet. Well, they did reconnect my internet but not my cable. I didn't find out for 3 days that my cable was still disconnected because I tried to watch the HBO app. HBO let's you log in through your cable provider and watch their show and movies without ads. I called them up again and was walked through the whole trouble shooting thing they do and it not work. They set up a tech appointment for several days later. Tech came out. Tech said someone royally messed up my account. He had to give me a new Altice One cable/modem box and take the other 3 off my account as I'd sent the minis back and no one ever took them off my account. The person who put in the move request for me didn't understand me when I kept saying Aug 31st and got it confused with July 31st. I don't understand why. I now have 3 accounts, one of which is pending install for Aug 31st and the other 2 have balances. I finally got them to transfer the balance from my original account to my current account but it's a bill for Aug even though that account was disconnected July 29th. I was told any disconnects requested before the 22nd of the month would be ignored billing wise and I'm still required by contract to pay that bill. Some of my credit were taken off and the rep of fb chat said they would be put back on and reflect on my next bill. I wish I had another company I could go with but there isn't another one around here. At least the tech knew what he was doing and fixed me right up.

So, I signed up for stand alone internet about 2 years ago. I was told my bill would be 63.33 after taxes and everything. About 9 months or so ago my bill goes up about $15. I called them and they said I'm getting a discount because of a bundle and I didn't have anything else at the time. Then, I called back and was told I'm getting a discount. What exactly am I getting a discount for? I called last week and got phone service added cause their site advertised it as $10.99 a month. The tech came out and put a phone cord in my router and left and it took them an additional 24 hours to activate it, which I wasn't told about. I even had to start a chat online to find out my phone number, which is a cell phone number. So, is this not a landline? Is it VOIP? If it is, I'll just cancel and go with magic jack. It'd be way cheaper!
My cable service was out for 2 weeks in November and every time I called I reached someone in India who had no idea what was going on. I asked for supervisor call backs several times, but no one ever called. Finally, I filed a complaint with the FCC, and voila', my service came on the next day. Then I was promised a credit on my bill, which I never got. Oh well, I guess it's back to the FCC...
I literally have to unplug and replug my router 5-10 times a day just to get a connection and when I do it lasts for maybe 1 hour. Awful service, awful customer service and I can't wait until my contact is up.

We been using Suddenlink ever since we moved down to Regina, Kentucky.
Years later, BAM, Suddenlink charges over $200 per month JUST for scams. High Speed Internet? All we got instead was refurbished equipment that came out of the damn RIVER! They've gotten fined $2.2 million dollars for their ignorance not too long ago. But they probably haven't even paid it. My family uses the internet for social media viewing, article reading, watching YT videos
But me personally, I'm a content creator, without the proper internet, I can't stream but I can record/upload videos. But their services has been so $#*!ty lately. It's gotten to the point where people are cancelling their services with the provider. It's ridiculous. Hell, over THREE WEEKS AGO. Suddenlink's sent in one of their newest so-called "contractors" over to my place and here's what they did. In the photo tied to this review, you can see that Suddenlink's newest so-called "contractors" came over to my place to replace the copper-wiring cable with fiberoptics and this is the $#*! that remains on our lawn. A spool of fiberoptic cable following by three $#*!ing pylons. They need to be banned from the country for LIFE! Cuz this $#*!'s ridiculous. I'm not paying over $200 per month with this $#*! in my lawn.

Recently bought a new home. Waited a week for suddenlink/ optimum to come out (understandable time). I have the best package the offer in my area which is 1 gig download. Worked pretty good for about a week. Now the internet cuts out ALL THE TIME. Have to reset modem non stop. I do not have cell phone service where I live so I have to 100% rely on this pos internet in order to take calls for work if I get called out. I just can't figure out that we're in 2022, cloning animals, coming out with all these inventions and new medications…. And suddenlink can't figure out how to make their services work. How has another company not stepped in to take over the rural areas at this point? Would gladly give my money to another company without hesitation. Complete $#*!

STAY AWAY FROM SUDDENLINK!
Moved to Greenville, NC 4 years ago, found that Suddenloss was the only cable internet service in town. S far, I would guess my service is about 30% reliable losing work data, lost streams, dead wire. 3 times service calls came up with no problem. 4th time service rep said there was an outside problem on their line and he would report it. 6 months later, no fix. They even charged me late charges for missing payments and I am using the auto pay feature they provided. Each time I call for help, I can't understand the helper for poor English skills. Overpriced, poor service, unreliable, throttling my speed and THEY DON'T CARE.
Deserves negative stars. By far worst service I've ever received. Raised my monthly internet fee without telling me. I found out from a friend who told me that her bill went up without warning by $10 (I had been using autopay). After having the displeasure of waiting eons for a customer service representative to get on the line to cancel my service, I find out months later that they've still been charging me. The rep blamed their "faulty system" but claimed that I still owe money for their modem. He also let me know that I was already charged (and I had unknowingly paid) $75 previously for the modem. I never used their modem and it was even stated on my first bill that I had my own. They were going to send my "unpaid" balance to a collection agency. Please do yourself a favor and do me a favor and never work with this company. The initial price may seem good but they will increase the bill in a few months claiming that the promotion expired (duration of promotion was never discussed upon installation) and charge for things you never used. Seriously not worth the high blood pressure.
