Total Scam - Do Not Purchase from StubHub!

We purchased tickets through Stubhub for Lana Del Rey's concert and still we did not get our tickets yet. I've been chasing Stubhub after the tickets for the last several weeks by phone and email. Still no tickets. The concert is tonight in an another country. I've already booked my flights and paid for my hotel reservations but now I still do not have my concert tickets. If you want to purchase concert tickets, it's best to purchase them directly from the seller and not through Stubhub.

Screwed by StubHub

Bought two concert tickets. Order was processed and confirmed by email, with Order number. Then got email saying order was "cancelled" by StubHub for unstated reason and I was to contact them. Did so by phone and was told "the system" cancelled my order for "fraud protection reasons." I asked what the "reasons" were but got no answer. After 15 minutes on the phone was told could re-order the tickets but that concert was now sold out. Treated very rudely by salesperson.

Refund never arrived
January 13, 2024

Purchsed tickets to FCS championship game on 1.7.24 in early Dec. Immediately knew there was an issue with seller when tickets never transferred. I have initiated 4 chats to customer service and called twice for a refund to be issued. Received an email on 12.20 saying refund was processed. 1.13 told the refund is still in initiated stage and that it can take some time. Buy from anyone else thier fees are higher and guarantees mean nothing

I have bought tickets to concerts and sporting events several times on stubhub and have not encountered any problems. I find their search features easy to use and the tickets always arrive on time with no problems. Allows you to select the ticket pickup options. You can probably find cheaper tickets from other outlets or sources, but you risk unreliable sellers or running into problems which can be a pain in the butt to solve. Haven't encountered any such issues with stubhub.

After waiting too long to get tickets to a Tony award winning play, I learned seats through the box office were no longer available. However, stubhub offered orchestra seats at a reasonable price - although I was reticent to purchase them without knowing exactly where they were and the general reputation for the company I went through with the purchase. It was unclear if the transaction went through so I contacted customer service and I have to say how efficient the representative was in assuring me the purchase was complete and how to go about downloading the tickets when directed to do so my email.

The process was extremely simple and come the day of the show my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in front row seats - the best we've ever had for a Broadway show, at the best price we ever paid.

Definitely recommended.

I'm trying to get in touch with Customer Service about a problem I am having listing tickets for sale. The wait in the Chat room is over 4 hours, I have been on hold not for 45 minutes and still waiting.

We bought tickets to an event at 7:30pm, which my sales receipt clearly shows. Upon arrival we found the tickets sent were actually for the matinee that had occurred earlier that day. We attempted to call StubHub but the wait time was over an hour to speak with someone. Security at the event advised us that this was common with StubHub, it that we would have to leave as the entire event was sold out. Upon contacting StubHub they admitted to the error but refused to refund any but 25% of what we paid, leaving us out $300. Actually appalling that a company would operate with this little integrity. Do not purchase tickets from them. I have attached the photos that show the discrepancy as well as the very laughable guarantee they post on their website and clearly do not honor.

Never use this site

This site means to scam you if you're doing anything except buy tickets. If you're simply buying tickets you'll have no issues. BUT if you want a refund or to resell tickets it will not happen and you should sell them yourself. This company will purposely sell your tickets again for you and then not send you email confirmations so they can claim you didn't follow their procedures. Then they will say sorry and hang up on you and all you've done for them is give them double profits of the same ticket.

I purchased 2 tickets for Usher's upcoming 4th of July show in Las Vegas under the "concert" section of StubHub and and was sent Afterparty tickets instead. I have contacted Stubhub three times through multiple methods to resolve this issue and there is still no resolution. Would not recommend using them! Even if they screw up, it ends up being your problem.

Tried to sell some tickets. The website barely functioned. Couldn't edit any of my previous address or credit card data. System seemed to accept changes then went all buggy. Some screens reflected changes, but the important screens did not. Started a chat session, waited 4 minutes to chat with someone... 10 minutes later it was clear that would be no help. Chat recommend I call them. Thanks for no being able to address problems on your own website. Pathetic eCommerce experience from a business who's go-to-market channel is almost exclusively on-line. Fix or fail.

Went to see masallis Winston concert which had been rescheduled.The seller was notified but did not pass this on. Complained to stub hub but was actually yelled at for complaining. I emailed the seller and you would have thought I committed murder. What a whine.He finally refunded my ticket Money when he believed me that the tickets were useless. Will never buy from stub hub again. Think these sites should be outlawed.

Seller never sent tickets. Called and they gave me a $28 coupon! We have flights booked today to go to Atlanta for game tomorrow! Original tickets were in CLUB TABLES with all-inclusive food, alcohol and beverage. New tickets are down foul line and row 4. Seller will be given fee but if he sold for more to someone else on another site or in person not their problem. So i paid 4x face value for inferior tickets and I am more or less told too bad after 55 minute phone call.

I'm 43 I've wanted to see Aerosmith since u was 12! They came to town bought 3 tickets through stub hub. 3 months before concert! Before tickets were even on sale! Concert is tonight 7/7/15. Guaranteed to arrive by the 3 rd kept looking online. It said " processing" called yesturday 7/6/15 freaking out. Was told tickets were never available sorry. Sorry! Why was it saying Processing! So heart broken! They refunded my money and wants to give me 50% off next ticket purchase!? As if I would EVER buy from them again!

My recent experience was that site is malfunctioning all the time, not reliable to sell or buy tickets. I tried to list opera tickets for sale. We tried to call their customer service and someone on their customer service side was barely speaking English. He told me site is "not working well" but we should try in one hour. I explained to him that I saw same not working results last 2 days and tried 3-4 times already. He told me he has no idea. The impression we had was that customer service is likely not US based and agents barely speak English and are not really interested to speak to US based customers, since it is very difficult for them to understand questions from US based consumers. We decided to not use Stubhub anymore, out of concerns for lately deteriorating quality of the site, as well as concerns that site may not be longer safe to post financial transactions.

We bought tickets 6 months in advance and then Stubhub canceled two days before concert. Then resold them. They do not care about buyers. We had a party of 4 fly from different parts of the country only to be cheated out our tickets.

I strongly advise against buying tickets from StubHub. I purchased Beyoncé tickets months in advance, thinking I was making a smart choice, but I ended up paying a substantial amount of money. As the concert date approached, I discovered that better seats were available for half the price I paid. I felt like I had been taken advantage of by the website, and to make matters worse, they don't allow you to cancel your order. Once you've placed an order, it's your problem to deal with. I will never use this website again, and I've learned my lesson. I won't recommend it to any of my friends either.

False tickets

Paid $1161 for Mana tickets only to find out less than 24hrs before venue "the seller didn't have my tickets" I paid for 3 months ago. They offered me replacement tickets on the very top when I selected closer seats. They basically take your money and leave themselves an out to sell at higher price later and offer you $#*! Tickets in exchange. SCAM ARTIST! Stay away. I do not recommend!

Honolulu, HI Khraungbin event. Purchased tickets 1 week prior. When I went to access the ticket, there was no bar code and a specific seat was not assigned. I payed $200 for the ticket and was unable to get in The next day, Stubhub told me my ticket was non-refundable because the event had already passed.

My takeaway: stub hub is a scam.

Where is my money?!

I sold tickets via stubhub and was told my money would be transferred to my PayPal within 5 business days. The 5th businesses day- nothing. So I call and customer service says it will be transferred the next day. So I check the next evening and still nothing. I call customer service again and am told it SHOULD be complete by the end of the week. I will never, ever use this site again. They are very unprofessional and unorganized. If you can't stick to a time frame, don't use one! Weeks later I am still waiting for my money.

Ordered tickets for my college son and some friends to go to a concert after a hard round of tests. Got an initial delivery date, then got an email to not worry, they would be later but in time for the concert. Right before concert I get a message on my answering machine there were no tickets coming. Now the venue is sold out, if StubHub had told us the truth originally that their seller wasn't sending the tickets properly we would have had a chance to get them another way. Now there are very disappointed kids. The worst is, they knew there was a problem and lied to me about it-they don't care.
