Horrific Service
November 30, 2022

Spent almost $1000 on tickets to one of my girlfriends favorite Singers for her Birthday. Patiently waited to receive the tickets way past the date I was supposed to receive them. Eventually called to see where my tickets were and I pretty much got told they don't exist.? I Eventually got them to offer me a refund but was told I wouldn't receive the money until a week after her Birthday. Worst experience I've ever had from any ticket reseller. I highly recommend you go somewhere else.

I see here that a seller gave stubhub a 5 star review because they could have lost $6,000, and that stubhub went above and beyond to save them their money. Well, I am one of those people that got screwed. I lost $1,000 because stubhub CHANGED their policies AFTER I bought tickets. The concert was cancelled. I was told I could get a refund. They changed their policies... so all you sellers can rejoice that stubhub went "Above and Beyond" by screwing the buyers. They now give a credit. We live in rural America! Events do not happen here. What the hell am I going to do with $1,000 credit. We don't have football teams here. You have to drive 3+ hours just to get to a city that *might* have an event. And by the way, they waited a full month after the concert was officially cancelled to say it was cancelled on their site. TicketMaster is currently refunding while the stubhub sellers get to keep their money. Just remember this, stubhub will not be held responsible! Period.

I went into their website to sell a pair of tickets and the website was stalling so I thought it had not gone through so I went in again and re imputed the information band I got a confirmation but when I went to look at my information it looked like I had 2 ads so I tried to cancel it and tried calling but no answer and the next morning I called and was told their website was having issues but could not stop them from taking a 100.00 out of my account. A few reviews saying the same thing.

Worst company ever! DO NOT USE STUBHUB! They charge exorbitant fees and refuse to refund money. They don't provide your tickets in a timely manner even though they charge you. Their only reply is to resell your tickets and of course they say that because then they charge fees again so they make even more money for doing absolutely nothing. They are more recently not able to come through with the tickets and leave people at the venue with nothing.

I bought tickets to Bourbon and Beyond that said Row 1 Seats 1-8. When we arrived, it was festival seating and there were no rows nor seats. We payed an exorbitant amount for front row seats. When I called StubHub, they admitted that it was a scam and offered a 25% discount on our next tickets. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they transferred me to someone outside the US who barely spoke English and could only say, "I am authorized to give you a 25% discount certificate. This company is not legitimate and I would never attempt to buy tickets through them again.

Stub Hub are crooks, plain and simple. Canadian citizen buys tickets at Canadian venue and they hind the fact that the charges are in US dollars somewhere obscure on the site. Owned in part of in full by Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster is party to this fraud. So is the Ontario government for not doing anything about it.

StubHub is a ripoff!
September 6, 2017

Wife purchased tickets for U2 for general admission because general admission was no longer available through Ticketmaster soon after they went on sale. StubHub prices were near $150. Now that the concert is close, and she cannot attend, the prices on StubHub are as low as $40. What a joke!

Replacement tickets
February 9, 2016

I am completely blown away by how incredible the people of stubhub have been! I have purchased tickets on stubhub before and was very satisfied, but this time had a little bit of a complication due to UPS losing my package. I called stubhub and immediately was told that they are going to replace my tickets with new ones and not only did they replace them, but they got me even better seats! I am so thrilled and thankful!

I purchased Pittsburgh Pirate tickets for June 10 along with a very expensive parking pass. The date changed for attending that game. The tickets sold, but the parking pass did not. I called the PNC parking garage and they 'could not' change the date of that pass, they said call stubhub. I did so. Stubhub could not help me. The PNC parking attendant said 'other' third party businesses DO allow you to change dates; stubhub does not. I paid $67.81 for a parking pass I cannot use! I wanted to get close to the stadium as my husband cannot walk far. Now I don't have the money to buy another pass for July 29. I'll go to Seatgeek, or ticketmaster, or anywhere else for my next venue purchase!

I reached out 5 times (even to the CEO) and never got access to my tickets. The venue could not access them through the Stubhub order number, so we had to purchase tickets again. Stubhub touts their fan guarantee, but has no information on their website about how to access a refund. I did find a phone number, and was asked to jump through hoops. Hopefully, I am reverting a refund. It sounds like they sell ticketmaster tickets, but my tickets were not in that account either. I will never order tickets through Stubhub again!

Appalling Service!
July 2, 2023

Brought tickets for Lana Dell Rey in Hyde Park over 8 weeks ago. Money was taken. Tickets confirmed.
And now - with less than a week to go, StubHub have refunded the money, with no explanation why.
When we phoned them, they said they could not get the tickets after all.
Was supposed to be a present for my daughter for completing her A levels but with less than a week there is no chance of getting her the tickets now and she is gutted.
Appalling Service!

The worst customer service ever! Keeping on hold 1-3 hrs, customer service representatives are extremely rude and disrespectful to clients. After laughing at you instead of trying to help, they hang up the phone. Useless!

Do not use this reseller. They got my money, delivered a broken link and when I called, they told me there was nothing they could do. I could my bank to start a process to get reimbursed and they sent me messages saying that I had violated my agreement with them for initiating a charge back.
I have not received any help from them, not through their call center or email support. Stay away!

Accidentally bought tickets for the wrong venue and their only solution is for us to re sell them. Through a very complicated system. When they could have just refunded our money we would have bought the right tickets from them. As is now will will never use then again

Don't lose your money
April 18, 2019

I wanted to buy tickets for a Los Angeles Dodgers game the day before to avoid buying them at the stadium as I usually do. Redownloaded their app to buy the tickets, after finding them, had to update my new address and card info, but the tickets were for the wrong date. There is no any to stop the transaction. Called the immediately, even though it is difficult to find their phone number on their app. Talked with their rep about what had just occurred, and was informed that there is nothing I could do about date. I explained to them about the error date, keep in mind that the game had already started and I live two hours away, even though I did attempt to stop the transaction, once checked out they will not do anything about the situation other than offer to resale them for less than half for what I bought them, remember game had already started, who was really going to buy tickets after an event starts and make to see it. Won't be using them and don't recommend anyone to them.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions and say that StubHub is not a good company. Please take the time out to read their user agreement. Remember that StubHub does not manufacture the tickets and as such they won't be able to refund their buyers in certain situations. If that were to happen, we would have no sellers. StubHub is the only ticket company that has sales on tickets and offer rewards when you purchase tickets (that is if you enroll in the fan rewards program). I paid 300% markup on tickets from Stubhub for lawn seating at Tanglewood to see James Taylor on July 3. The night of the show had severe thunderstorms with hail. It was impossible/crazy to be outside, yet there was no option for refunds for a show no one with lawn seating could see.

Don't list your tickets on STUBHUB. I used to use them for my inventory until they introduced "the price you see is the price you pay" for buyers. What they have done is stick the sellers with the 10% service + delivery charge on top of the seller fee 15%. I listed a ticket that cost me $145 for $170 which the buyer sees $198 which is the + 10% and delivery charge. I broke even and stubhub made a profit per ticket of $53. Hey stubhub what will you do all the sellers pull there tickets? Guess you can't have buyers without inventory.

Rip Off

I bought 4 premium seats at an event for $275. Went to event and found out seats were in a totally different general admission area that were worth $10 each max. I called StubHub and asked them to address the issue. They kept me on the telephone for an hour and offered me $50. Don't trust them. Their guarantee is a joke.

Total Scam - Do Not Purchase from StubHub!
July 15, 2023

We purchased tickets through Stubhub for Lana Del Rey's concert and still we did not get our tickets yet. I've been chasing Stubhub after the tickets for the last several weeks by phone and email. Still no tickets. The concert is tonight in an another country. I've already booked my flights and paid for my hotel reservations but now I still do not have my concert tickets. If you want to purchase concert tickets, it's best to purchase them directly from the seller and not through Stubhub.
