Terrible! Never again! I never received my tickets and customer service will have you on hold for hours and not answer!
We bought tickets through stubhub back in April for a Lindsey Sterling concernt on August 2nd. We paid $950 for 6 reserved seats. On the day of the concernt we still had not received the digital tickets. We called the customer service department at 1:00pm (show starts at 6:30) and they told us that we will receive them by 3:30 and if we don't to call them back. 3:30 rolls by and still no tickets. We call back and we are told by customer service that our tickets are no longer avaliable! We have paid for the seats and received conformation numbers and everything. They explained that since they are a 3rd party seller there are times to many tickets are sold and you lose your tickets. They stated we could have general admission lawn tickets for the same price we paid for the reserved seating or get a refund. Again this was 2 hrs before doors open we find out our tickets are no longer availbe. They said there was nothing they could do. We ended up opting for the full refund because paying $950 for lawn seats is crazy! I will never use stubhub again. To find out 2 hrs before the door open to your event that your tickets you bought 4 months ago are no longer availbe is crazy and leaves literally no time to make adjustments to your plans or find other tickets. The next day they ended up emailing us a $200 dollar credit but after this headache I'm to scared to use them to buy tickets in the future. If I could give negative stars I would!
Side note: we ended up finding last minute tickets for half the price stubhub charged and they ended up being even better seats.
Stub Hub was unwilling to stand behind their FanProtect for buyers and violated the number one reason for their business, trust. The event I bought tickets for was cancelled and rescheduled for another date and another venue. The original theater (the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA 3,000 plus arena) and my reserved seats (orchestra pit 2nd row center!) were the highlight and I bought based on that fact. The new venue is a ballroom (The Egyptian Ballroom, 300-400 people) in the same building and it is now General admission? I paid over a $100 per seat ($ 477 with fees) for 4 tickets. Tickets have gone back on sale for $ 50 dollars and will not sell out. I cannot resell for half of what I paid. Upset is an understatement.

STUB HUB is the worst no more said! Good luck with purchase! Even the review makes you write more then 60 characters! LOL it's a joke SH
Purchased 2 tickets for a concert totaling 1951.00, did not get tickets, and stubhub is refusing to refund my money
I have bought and sold tickets on stubhub. No complaints. They are the only site that I use for scalping.
My wife bought 3 tickets to a Canucks game fri apr 5, flew from NYC. When she got to the venue. THE TICKETS WERE FAKE! I Wanna sue them Don't buy anything here please!
I saw someone else say, and I must agree, that stub hub use to be a great company but now they're garbage. I use to get my ticket with plenty of time to put it in a safe space prior but now I bought a ticket for Black Dahlia Murder and it sold it to me through ticketmaster. Okay not a problem I thought, but when I tried to claim my ticket It asked me to log in and it didn't recognize the email I used to purchase the ticket from stubhub, so I didn't get my ticket and couldn't go. I tried calling but they were closed for the weekend. It's Monday now and I've been on hold for almost 2 hours trying to reach someone about this (the first time I called I was hung up on after the first hour so I'm trying again). I at least would like my money back from them not segwaying my purchase to my ticket, they took my money but didn't deliver and on top of that didn't have any customer service to help get what I purchased for. Secondly, I bought tickets for knotfest that I bought the insurance for in case I couldn't attend (at this point if they're making me go to a third party I'm just going to buy from them so I don't run into the technical difficulties they created by doing so) but now I can't just get a refund I paid the extra money for, I have to sell my ticket for a lower price, that's not what ticket insurance is at all. Nothing of what they claim to do is working at all and they don't care, otherwise I wouldn't wait an hour to get hung up on. They just want you're money and tell you to get lost after and it's your problem. I hope they tank as a business, they're nothing like what they use to be.
SELLERS BEWARE! I had 14 different listings that stub hub sold for me for two Red Sox vs. Yankees game April 11th and April 12th. On April 10th I received a email that there was a problem with two of the listings. Stub hub claimed I was at fault for uploading the wrong tickets. I explained to them that I was not at fault. After stub hub reviewed the problem, they phoned me to say that the error was with their splitter. I had them email that they were responsible for the error. On April 11th around the start of the game, I started receiving emails that people were being refused into Yankee stadium. Since then I have made numerous calls to Stub hub and each time, I speak to a different person. I have been told by more then one agent, that Stub hub is at fault. Today April 16th I called to see when I would be paid for the orders I haven't received. The agent I spoke with said I would be charged for the errors. I reuse to pay for Stub hub's error. If anyone else has had the same problem with multiple orders, please post it.
I went online and did a search for tickets for the Eagles concert in Denver and the Stubhub listed the concert dates for October 6 and October 7 a Friday and a Saturday. I clicked on the link to purchase tickets for Friday the sixth, completed the purchase and ended up with tickets for Thursday the fifth, which wasn't even a date listed on the Google listing. I contacted Stubhub several times and they told me that the seller of the tickets they would check with them to see if he had tickets to replace them for Friday night, two weeks later, I still did not have an answer called them again. They promised me that they would cover them under the Stubhub ticket guarantee, which in my opinion is nonexistent because they ended up Telling me the owner of the tickets did not have comparable tickets available for Friday night and that my only option was to resell my tickets, pay another $130 fee for each one which I would have to eat because I couldn't sell the tickets for what I had in them and then I would have to buy tickets for Friday night and pay another $130 per ticket fee so it would end up costing me an additional $520 just to sell my tickets and buy new ones for Friday night. They are nothing but liars and thieves and the only options you have is using their website to resell your tickets And it's a scam. All they do is make money off of multiple convenience fees and will not offer to help out anyone who has an issue with their tickets so stay the hell away from this website all it will do is suck money out of your wallet.
I paid a premium for VIP tickets to the Dierks Bentley concert at the Tampa Mid Florida Ampitheater. When I got the tickets it said that they were show tickets only and we would not have access to any of the VIP areas (club/lounge).
At this point they are just really expensive seats that I could have paid half as much for. I contacted them on 9/11/18 and they basically just lied to me. They said they contacted the amphitheater and were told that certain VIP seats do not include the lounge. I contacted the amphitheater and they told me that when brokers buy these tickets in quantity they get them for less by removing the VIP areas and then sell them through third party providers like Stubhub.
I have been to this venue and bought VIP tickets several times and always had access. When I said I wanted my money back they told me no. When I raised the issue of their "fan guarantee" they told me the seller had provided me with the tickets and I was therefore out of luck. Their customer service could barely speak English and when I asked for a manager the 2 times I called them, I was told first they were not there and then secondly they were too busy.
I asked for a return call from a manager and none came.
If they do this to you, chargeback your tickets with credit card company. I will never use them again!
They are horrible, tried to get a refund for ticket concert we are unable to attend. The worst customer service, bunch of scammers!
Took 4 calls to get a refund for a show that they sold tickets to and then 2 days out didn't deliver them.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with buying tickets for a show. I bought tickets for two shows recently. One pair of tickets I bought was sold to another person. So after driving 2.5 hours to get to the venue, I went to the door to get my tickets scanned and go in, but they tell me the tickets have already been used so we couldn't go. The other show I bought tickets for, they sold the tickets as fast pass GA. I thought it was weird because this venue doesn't need a fast pass ticket, but it was 40 bucks which is the price of the GA tickets so I bought a few. Come to find out that the tickets I bought saying fast pass GA, weren't GA tickets at all. They were just fast pass tickets. I didn't get my money back at all and had to buy a new set of GA tickets. They told me to sell the fast pass GA tickets, but it was the day of the show and I told him they wouldn't sell by tonight. They told me that's fine you can sell them after that day, which these tickets are only for that day. So they told me to screw someone else, so I can get my refund, instead of refunding me the money so I could buy legitimate tickets. This is one of the most disgusting and outrageous companies I have ever dealt with. Never have I had to deal with such chaos and unprofessional dishonest crooks. Never ever buy from this company! They need to be canceled and taken out of business!
When I first tried to get two $20 tickets for tomorrow's game between Georgia and Louisiana-Lafayette, they asked me to create an account or else I couldn't order them. When I entered my debit card info in, it took too long for my order to get processed. After waiting a few minutes and refreshing, the site told me that my account had been locked since it failed to save several times! I called them and the staff unlocked my StubHub account for me under my appreciation, and after I created a new password for my account, then I saw that my order has been processed and I finally printed my eTickets in time! I found StubHub to be somewhat better than TicketCity but based on several negative reviews, meh. TicketCity however asked me to send them a photo of my license, credit card, and photo ID. I found out that I didn't trust them at that time and that this was a scam since after my previous experiences with the website, they were very good when I ordered my tickets for UGA's home games vs. Vanderbilt and Auburn. I looked up StubHub and they were sort of different, but at least I did it and I consider using the same site to print my tickets for our last game vs Georgia Tech on Nov 26.
This is really just BS. They up charge 500% then add fees galore and say it is okay since they are the middle man. Terrible service and crooks
This website is a scam. It makes it hard for sellers to want to sell their tickets. DO NOT EVER USE THIS WEBSITE. I made a listing to sell tickets to a concert and ended up selling it to someone else in person instead. Then all of a sudden I was charged $64 from Stubhub for not "delivering tickets" because Stubhub said that they had to cover the charges for the customer that bought my tickets on their website. WHAT? ALL they had to do was to give whoever that bought my tickets online a REFUND. I used the website with the intension of advertising my ticket not having to actually sell it if i find better deals elsewhere. I did not know that I'd be charged if I did not want to sell them anymore. When I called customer service, they were unhelpful and kept on referring me to the terms & policies section online. Who WOULD hae the time to read sections and sections of rules when they want to simply sell the tickets. The policies are hidden and unclear and you'll randomly be charged. THIS WEBSITE WILL make your life harder. I want a refund because this is absurd.
I found tix I wanted to buy and never used stubhub before. I learned I needed to register... so, in doing so, the site kept looping on an error saying my phone number is needed. I input it already... exactly as the site example showed. I tried 6 variations... with no additional characters, with parens, with only dashes, both parens and dashes, with dots in between and with a 1 at the beginning... every attempt resulted in the same error: Enter a mobile/landline number as if it was missing. I engaged with their online chat twice. The first one suggested I shut/reopen my browser. While I didn't want to lose my tix, I did it anyway. It didn't work... I tried to register again and still no dice. I asked them to refer this to their technical support as there is obviously a problem with their website. I was told to call Sales to purchase my tix. I don't want to do that b/c I want to download my tix right away and this is done via the site AND I am not willing to give my CC info over the phone. I then asked if they can just register me and they said they can't. Both of the chat folks (ROBIN S. In particular) just abruptly ended the conversation with me. So, I'm stuck not able to buy tix and dealing with supposed customer SERVICE people who aren't willing to resolve the problem. I'm really unsure what the purpose their 24x7 chat serves. Looks like I'm off to ticketmaster or some other competitor ticket reseller.
Couldn't fulfill the tix order and Stubhub charged me more than I paid for the tixs. They said once a buyer accept the order the SELLER is OBLIGATED to pay for the buyers tixs even if tixs are not available.
Instead of refunding the buyer for the unfulfilled transaction, Stubhub fulfills the buyers order and makes the seller pay for the replacement tixs.
I bought 2 tickets, Box 102, Row M, Seats 1 & 2, for the Paribas tennis tournament. Purchase was confirmed, shipping was confirmed. A week later I received the tickets, but they are for Box 108, Row M, Seats 7 & 8. The included receipt shows the original tickets. I called Customer Service immediately. First thing they say when they hear you have a problem is: "Don't worry, we guarantee to upgrade your ticket if there is a problem, or give you a full refund."
I told her the problem. She put me on hold forever. She came back on the phone and said she'd contacted the seller and they told her that they had contacted me directly and told me that the original tickets we no longer available and I had agreed to accept these alternate tickets. Total lie, total baloney. I told her so. She put me on hold again for a very long time. She came back and said no comparable seats were available (they were, but at triple the price now because the event was just days away) and they could offer me a refund only. Well, we had vacation days planned and a hotel room booked. I told her that wasn't acceptable, that they needed to provide other tickets comparable to what I had originally purchased.
She put me on hold again (waiting for me to go away?) and finally came back and said she was sorry, but all she could do was a refund or I could accept these tickets. At this point, because of our plans already being made, I agreed to accept these tickets because I felt I had no choice unless I wanted to cancel the whole trip. I then laid into her about what a scam they had going, what a rip-off, what a bogus business. I said, "You probably do this to people all the time." Anyway, I gave her the what-for and she finally agreed to give me a $40 discount if I accepted these tickets. So now we'll wait and see if I actually get a credit or an actual refund.
Bottom line is the seller can say whatever they want and sell you tickets they don't have and send you anything instead (or none at all) and you are just out of luck. By the time you know you've been ripped off and lied to, it's too late to go back and get the tickets you could have gotten from someone else earlier, without paying triple the price by this time.
Answer: That's my assumption. Some other people on this site might be able to answer that from actual experience.
Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.
Answer: Stub hub only does resales so they can rip off the seller as well as the buyer
Answer: Hello Gisela! We aren't able to have you sell will call as an ID will need to be presented for pick up. Hope this helps!
Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event. I hope this helps and we are here to assist if you have any additional questions!
Answer: Some of these sellers do not own the actual tickets so they are buying time to get the tickets from someone else who can't attend the event and wants to sell their tickets.
