Tried to sell tickets on this site, sold them but sent wrong ones. They kept the original and charged my account for replacements. I was never informed of the problem or would of made it right. Out money and another set of tickets. NEVER AGAIN!
I purchased 2 tickets to a concert last January. It was set to be performed Aug. 22. I called over 25 times to try and get the tickets transferred all the way up to 1 hr before the event was to happen. I was told multiple things each and every time I called. All of which turned out to be incorrect. I was then sent an email while at the gate entrance that no tickets would be available. I then got online and purchased tickets from Ticket Master to get into the concert. After all of the this it took 7 more calls and 15 days to finally get my refund. Never Again will I ever use Stub Hub for anything they may offer. They do not care if you receive your tickets or not. They will hold off to the last minute to see what is cheaper for them, supply you with alternate tickets or refund you at some point.
I had sports even tickets removed from ebay and told to list on here. After registering and looking round the site it become obviously it was awful! You list your tickets for a set price, which stubhub then add a buyers commision to so the buyer pays more than you wanted, then they charge you a selling fee and then you need to pay to post the item by UPS - needless to say I didn't list my tickets - in fact i'd rather bin them then use this site
On June 21st 2023 I purchased tickets for cold play in the Philippines where my fiance lives. I am from the USA and will be traveling there about 10 days prior to the concert. I called stub hubprior tomy purchase and explained that their site said that the tickets would not arrive until the day before the concert. The call center rep from the Philippines stated that I should purchase the tickets and they would tell the seller to ship them immediately. After 3 attempts themselves agreed to send them on August 15, but never did. On August 28 2023 sub hub said they issued me a full refund of 480.00. However as of today September 7 no refund was issued and stubhub continues to make excuses. Do not trust stub hub, now I will need to sue them to resolve this issue.
I made a wrong purchase, so had to sell one ticket back. They said nothing can be done or cancel the order except posting for a resale, where the money back is not guaranteed. Later after a lot of hassle, they gave me the store credit. However, for the remaining ticket, they charged me about $230 (including taxes) each, for a concert ticket worth price $49.50. The unfortunate part is, even when I am trying to re-sell this ticket, no one is getting interested as the seat location does not justify the high price of the ticket. Moreover, the actual ticket price is mentioned on the ticket which is $49.50. And when I am requesting my buying price (i. E. $230), its been knocked down. How unfortunate! Who would believe something can happen like this with a registered website?
They do not make it clear that fast pass lawn tickets are actually not concert tickets at all. Even though they have seating numbers on them. You pay $90 for 2 of them. Then you find out they do not get you in the gate. You ask for refund- seller does not allow refunds nor reselling the tickets. Giant scam.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Do not ever sell your concert tickets that you cannot attend or they will sell your tickets and wrongfully withdrawal the same amount from your account. Please stay away then as they are crooks!'nn
They are $#*!. They lost my front row tickets to a sold out event. I did get a refund, but that just does not make up for the fact that the ticket retrieval process changed with-in one week of my using them for a previous event. $#*! THEM.
Through multiple accounts with peers, StubHub has ripped off their customers, me this time.
I asked to list my tickets and customer service denied my listings because it was too close to the show time.
Also, once their "service fees" are put into work, the tickets are through Ticketmaster anyways. The "service fee" is only for their false advertisement and unhelpful customer service. I would hate to be behind the counter ripping off people for a living. Thank you.
We purchased 2 tickets to a college basketball game behind 4 seats we already had in early December. Two days before the event, Stubhub calls us and says there was an error and the tickets we purchased and printed out were no longer valid. They would not explain what the error was and eventually hung up on me. That same day two tickets for the same section and row went on sale with no seat number listed for 3 times the price we paid. When we attended the game we asked the people sitting in the seats we had purchased when they got their tickets. They said they purchased the tickets that very day for $10 more per ticket than we had. Stubhub said this is not allowed but it happened anyway. They did nothing to make the situation better. This was a Christmas gift and we had to leave two of our family members at home. Stubhub sucks and so do greedy people that ruin a family outing for an extra $20.
If you sell tickets with this site do not expect to get your money. I've been getting the run around for over 3 weeks now and I have yet to get anyone from the main office in American. I was told I would have to keep calling back in hopes they pick up. I would not recommend this business at all. I'm now out 3000.00 and I still can't get any help
I used StubHub in Vancouver for the first time during my vacation. I was visiting from Ireland and was told by the front desk of the hotel to go visit stubhub that the young lady there is great. I walked over and there was a table set up and a young girl working. She helped me place an order, explained why hockey was great and convinced my wife how much fun she would have and she was right. We chatted with the young girl for quite awhile. We had purchased tickets that needed to be printed but my wife wanted tickets to keep, she made a call, and 5 minutes later a gentleman showed up and handed us the real tickets. We had a great time at the game and will never forget it. I have worked in the service industry for over 25 years and I was blown away. I don't know what training or filtering process they use, but they have the best of the best working for them. I will only use this service to purchase tickets.
Spent almost $1000 on tickets to one of my girlfriends favorite Singers for her Birthday. Patiently waited to receive the tickets way past the date I was supposed to receive them. Eventually called to see where my tickets were and I pretty much got told they don't exist.? I Eventually got them to offer me a refund but was told I wouldn't receive the money until a week after her Birthday. Worst experience I've ever had from any ticket reseller. I highly recommend you go somewhere else.
Be aware when you put tickets on StubHub, they reserve the right to charge you any amount (over 100%) of the listed price if the order doesn't go through. And no supervisor will negotiate the charge. Never use this company.
I see here that a seller gave stubhub a 5 star review because they could have lost $6,000, and that stubhub went above and beyond to save them their money. Well, I am one of those people that got screwed. I lost $1,000 because stubhub CHANGED their policies AFTER I bought tickets. The concert was cancelled. I was told I could get a refund. They changed their policies... so all you sellers can rejoice that stubhub went "Above and Beyond" by screwing the buyers. They now give a credit. We live in rural America! Events do not happen here. What the hell am I going to do with $1,000 credit. We don't have football teams here. You have to drive 3+ hours just to get to a city that *might* have an event. And by the way, they waited a full month after the concert was officially cancelled to say it was cancelled on their site. TicketMaster is currently refunding while the stubhub sellers get to keep their money. Just remember this, stubhub will not be held responsible! Period.
I went into their website to sell a pair of tickets and the website was stalling so I thought it had not gone through so I went in again and re imputed the information band I got a confirmation but when I went to look at my information it looked like I had 2 ads so I tried to cancel it and tried calling but no answer and the next morning I called and was told their website was having issues but could not stop them from taking a 100.00 out of my account. A few reviews saying the same thing.
Worst company ever! DO NOT USE STUBHUB! They charge exorbitant fees and refuse to refund money. They don't provide your tickets in a timely manner even though they charge you. Their only reply is to resell your tickets and of course they say that because then they charge fees again so they make even more money for doing absolutely nothing. They are more recently not able to come through with the tickets and leave people at the venue with nothing.
Stub Hub are crooks, plain and simple. Canadian citizen buys tickets at Canadian venue and they hind the fact that the charges are in US dollars somewhere obscure on the site. Owned in part of in full by Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster is party to this fraud. So is the Ontario government for not doing anything about it.
I bought tickets to Bourbon and Beyond that said Row 1 Seats 1-8. When we arrived, it was festival seating and there were no rows nor seats. We payed an exorbitant amount for front row seats. When I called StubHub, they admitted that it was a scam and offered a 25% discount on our next tickets. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they transferred me to someone outside the US who barely spoke English and could only say, "I am authorized to give you a 25% discount certificate. This company is not legitimate and I would never attempt to buy tickets through them again.
Wife purchased tickets for U2 for general admission because general admission was no longer available through Ticketmaster soon after they went on sale. StubHub prices were near $150. Now that the concert is close, and she cannot attend, the prices on StubHub are as low as $40. What a joke!

Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.

Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event. Answer: Some of these sellers do not own the actual tickets so they are buying time to get the tickets from someone else who can't attend the event and wants to sell their tickets.
