There is no customer service number so all correspondance is through email. They charge your account the full amount even when you return the items and refuse to refund your money. I was charged 20 for the first styling and then when I returned the extremely ugly clothing in the time period that they said I was charged 197.00 and have nothing to show for it. Do not buy from this company they are rip off artist. I had to cancel my credit card because they keep your card on file forever!
Don't waste your time or money they have horrible customer service - there is none.
Yes, we do exist. I am not a fan of shopping. Shoes, yes, but trying on clothes and styling myself - I'm just not good at. The questionnaire you take is pretty thorough to get to know what you like and your body type. I wouldn't mind more Target like prices, but I guess that's the price of a personal shopper & getting hand-picked items just for you delivered right to your door. I'll continue to do it until I have enough pieces/outfits to last me a while.
I absolutely love this service. I fill out a detailed questionnaire about my measurements and style preferences, and someone sends me clothes to try out with the things already in my closet. If I like it, I keep it. If I hate it, I send it back with postage already paid. Even if I don't keep anything, I still feel like I'm saving myself money by not having to go to the store to shop, but so far that hasn't been an issue for me. My stylist has REALLY done an amazing job zeroing in on my style and my budget.
I absolutely do want to caution that with clothing boxes it can take 2-3 before the stylist gets the hang of what you love. So I absolutely recommend requesting that they include a piece of jewelry that you'll love and want to keep so that you don't feel like you've wasted your styling fee. Make sure to leave lots of feedback and be as detailed as possible. Link up your Pinterest board to give your stylist ideas. This will absolutely work for you!
I would encourage you to go out and shop yourself. Outrageously priced for no name brands! You tell them not to send you things but they do anyway. If you send them back it voids your discount. Customer service is like trying to talk to a pitbull! Do so at your own risk I guarantee you'll get problem after problem after problem and headache after headache!
I've ordered 5 or 6 boxes from Stitch Fix now. The pieces always fit great and are tailored to my style. It helps that I have a Pinterest board for the stylists to look at. I've even gotten a few pieces that I pinned. As far as their customer service, I had a seam open up on a coat that I only had a a month. I contacted them, sent a picture and they told me that they can send me a new coat or give me a 100% refund. Also they said I could keep the "damaged" coat. This happened with another product a few boxes later. I contacted them and sent a picture of the damage and I was given the same options. They stand behind having nice quality products and if the quality does not meet their standards, they will do what they can to make it better.
I love the idea of a personal stylist, and getting the box is great fun! However, my first few boxes were disappointing with fit and style. It took awhile before I had more hits than misses. I stopped ordering the boxes, though, as the quality of the clothing went down. Prices stayed the same, but the clothing quality went down. Clothes used to be comparable to what you'd get in a boutique, but my last boxes had clothing like I'd expect to get at Target or H&M. Just couldn't justify the price anymore.
I have received multiple orders and have been satisfied with everything I got. I have an opportunity to select before they send it or be surprised. I have done both, with excellent results. Even when I have had to return something or needed more time to pay, it was simple and easy.
The items I received were either too big or too tight, when it even gives you the option to select what particularly items you like baggy, fitted, or skin tight. Was completely not my style. I feel like I filled out the personal style interview for nothing. Items were not in the price I requested. I asked my stylist to ship me something special for my birthday and that was ignored. Don't bother with Stich Fix, it's a waste of time and money.
Been a.member for a long time. For years loved getting my fixes and kept most everything. The last few years have been awful. I said I need 3/4 length sleeve tops and I got short, shirt sleeves. Wanted capris and got short shorts or long pants. Sending me sweaters in July although I specifically said no sweaters when it's 100 out. And my profile says nothing over $100 and I continually get items over $100. There are no stylists evidently or if they are, they are not reading my comments or looking at my profile. Either that or no inventory. Given them many chances to redeem themselves but after reading these reviews I find it's not me. Very sad as they used to be much better.
The items they sent were close to my style, but I felt obligated to keep one thing that I only liked a little bit, and this is because you HAVE TO pay $20 up front. I ended up paying $28 for a necklace worth about $12. The rest of the items were low-end for quality but high end for price. Something I'd pay about $12.99 for was priced at almost $60. I will not continue this service and don't recommend it unless you have way more money than you have time to shop. (And if you have that much money, you shoudl be able to afford a few nicer clothes, not a "quick fix" that costs a lot.
I love the idea of stitch fix - a personal stylist picks out outfits for you and sends them to your front door, and if you don't like them, send them back for free. Yeah! Sign me up! But in reality, the clothes are quite mediocre in style and quality, but with designer prices. $60-80 for tops, $80-100 for pants. Items you could get at Kohls. I wish I could say it's great, because I would love to love it.
Like many other people I filled out their style questions and they sent me the box. The stuff wasn't that bad but didn't really fit and was to expensive so I sent it back. I have proof of return and they harassed me as it was lost in transit. They then took the full amount out of my account and when I complained they closed my account! Absolutely awful customer service, I'm now having to go through my bank in order to get close to £300 back from them. Nothing but thieves and it's a clear scam, as they have done it with so many other people! DO NOT ORDER
I recently planned a trip to Sand Diego and always schedule a Fix to go along with my trip. The order was placed & scheduled with enough time to get it to me before my requested date; 2-3 weeks prior. When I asked about the status I was informed by Aubrey that my order would not make it on time so she took the liberty of cancelling my order. It would have been appreciated for StitchFix to expedite my order instead of cancel it. This is the 2nd time that they have dropped the ball and didn't fulfill my order request within the time that was either requested or promised. This company can't be trusted to take care of your order to get it to you on time, nor to ensure that they really look out for you as a customer. I've been a customer for the last 5 years, but not any more. I felt the burn for this one. This is a very special vacation and they have only added stress and created more things for me to do prior to my departure. I'm very disappointed. BUYER BEWARE!
I should probably write several reviews but...their customer service has consistently been excellent and my stylist listens to what I request and does her best to comply. I HATE to shop and have a hard time finding good fits/styles - when I signed up I gave measurements and indicated styles etc... they nailed it on the first try. I think I kept EVERYTHING in that box and since then I usually keep 2-3 items from each new fix. I've also found several styles that look good on me that I would never have thought I could wear until Stitchfix sent them to me. My family is thrilled that I am looking much more put together and polished - and I like knowing I look good.:-) Thank you stitchfix folks!
My sister-in-law referred me. After reading your latest reviews, had she not, I would not have given it a try. I've seen her a multiple family parties lately and she always looks fantastic (she did before too but something is different now, she's added more color to her wardrobe because of you). I got my first shipment. The shopper hit the nail on the head 5x! The quality is great. The prices were a bit high but not exorbitant. Not to have to go to a store and try on a million things to leave with nothing was awesome. Definitely worth the try. If you hate the first shipment, try again and be more specific and honest. One shot is not enough. Looking forward to my next shipment.
I just got my stitch fix today and I loved it! I don't understand the bad reviews, it is a little pricey and I couldn't afford everything I was sent this time around, but if I did have the money right now I would've kept everything! The clothes I bought fit perfectly despite my weird proportions (I'm like 5'9 and have a pretty short torso but really long legs). All the pieces I was sent were very flattering and very comfortable! I'll definitely be ordering from them again!
The clothes are so overpriced I don't know how anyone could afford them. Two of my packages were mistakenly delivered to the wrong address and I was charged for one of them. The customer service was threatening and refused to help me. Never, ever again.
It doesn't much matter WHAT preferences you post on your profile, they seem to send whatever they have in stock. Poor quality, cheap discount clothes. Also site is difficult to navigate when you want to cancel. AND, there doesn't seem to be a way to post a review on their site, except for "paid influencers."
Since I love to shop online, I decided to open an account with stitch fix. I have been shopping online for many many years but this is the worst of the worst so far. Anyone out there do your own research deeper 'don't be fool. 5 PCS. $400 and neither one of each get my attention to love it. Buy in Walmart they have better clothing, the material and the style are way better not to mentioned way cheaper with the same material from stitch fix. I even got a really bad night dreams that night. I was so stress for a week because I couldn't believed that I got scam just like that!
I found this service to be overpriced for he quality of clothing received. None of the pieces sent fit me so I was out $20 for the styling fee. Unless you are a perfect model size who can fit most every style/brand of clothing in your size and don't want to shop on your own then this might be great. If you're like me and many others who aren't the perfect model size and may vary between sizes for different brands and don't always fit your size in different styles, then this service is too risky -- losing $20 for every fix that doesn't work out. I will not use the service again and do not recommend it for most people I know.
Answer: Credits are applied during checkout, not while you browse or put stuff in your cart.
Answer: No. The COMPUTER will then select pieces to replace those in the fix. The stylist is then locked into these choices. They might have a couple items the computer picks to choose from like we do when we preview, but they do not go and pick items. So if you request color and specific fabrics (no polyester) but the computer comes back with neutrals and a polyester jacket, that's what they will choose from.
Answer: They want you to pay them, even when you decide not to use them. The feel since they are in the UK, American laws don't apply to them. So they will charge you for there mistakes.
Answer: They make you buy the clothes and they will keep your card in file until you pay them.
The company has garnered mixed feedback, with some customers appreciating the quality and fit of the clothing, particularly for specific styles that resonate with their personal tastes. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious concerns regarding customer service, particularly the difficulty in canceling subscriptions, unresponsive support, and billing issues. Many customers express frustration over receiving items that do not align with their requests, leading to dissatisfaction with the overall shopping experience. This disconnect between customer expectations and service delivery suggests a need for improved communication and operational efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction.
