Many of these courses are apparently made for Udemy, and therefore you'll have trouble getting codes and whatnot for free webhosting etc. to use with the course. I had bought Rob Percival's The Complete Web Developer, which should come with 1 year of webhosting, but I had no way of getting a code since it wasn't included with my receipt, nor is it in the details on the Purchases tab.
I then went to Udemy and bought Rob's Web Developer 2.0 and had no problem signing up for the free WebHosting.
My recommendation is, for learning, stick to official sites like Udemy and Coursera (there are frequent discounts for any course you may want to learn), and ignore the ubiquitous browser ads for Skillwise/StackSocial/StackSkills.
I ordered a charging cord from idrop and got a different charging cord sent to me. I emailed idrop and the seller ended up granting me a full refund and didnt require the incorrect charge cord to be sent back.
I bought a couple things from them and to this day I still believe they are the best at what they do. Had a slight problem with a package to learn to develop apps for iOS and they dealt with it ASAP and got me learning to develop in a couple minutes
False, deceptive and misleading advertising.
Bought lifetime subscription for VPN software BUT my access suddenly expired in November after 5 years.
Contacted Stacksocial multiple times and all I get is a "looking into it" reply while I go without a VPN.
The VPN provider (not their fault) kindly extended my account for a few weeks so they can investigate and I can pursue my complaint against Stocksocial.
According to the VPN provider, I am not the only subscriber who was misled (conned) so how about a class action suit? Is anyone interested?
NOTE: I will file a complaint with the FTC but as I understand all they do is send a "cease and desist" warning letter.
I mean, ~ 40 USD for a lifetime subscription, 5 units. Says it all right there! Support is super fast and very helpful. So glad I found VPN unlimited.
They have a wide variety of coding courses which are very thorough and complete with amazing discounts.
They answer your doubts in time.
I will keep buying from them.
Speedy, effective customer service team.
They had resolved my issue within days.
I trust if I have any further issues in the future, it will be solved just as well.
Keep up the great work
Got excellent customer service with download issues after purchasing product. Mike and Jimmy were quick to response and offer alternative solution that worked great. Thanks again guys.
Sells pure garbage and the customer service does not exist at all. A non-reputable seller. Buyer beware. You have better options out there. I only got ripped off for 20 bucks. Got out cheap.
When I didn't receive the expected package, they were very helpful and got me a replacement. This was my first order. I would trust them with future orders.
Prompt and helpful support, resolving an issue of invalid serial number. In addition, the support was given during a weekend! I am pleasantly surprised
Customer support is timely and thorough. A breath of fresh air in the online jungle! My inquiry was handled quickly, professionally and completely. Bravo!
I wrote a 1 star review on TrustPilot. The seller replied with apology. But that's it. No product, no refund. Keep your money. If too good to be true….
The site looks legit. But the products being pushed are absolute garbage. It's almost stealing. A $20 wrist band to declare you have been vaccinated. Poor fools.
Unless you want endless mail exchange that do not help and offer no help, **Stay away** and do not order on this site
For my last
I asked for an address change after placing an order (typo in the address), and they didn't answer me, never took it into account and 2 days after the shipment they sent an email to say that it was not possible anymore
Now they are not answering my requests and (4 days w/o answer since my last message)
I would definitely recommend this site. Excellent prices with a wide variety of products available for those looking for something unique... five stars
Personally took care of issue and replied notifying of closure. Their representative, Lincoln, was very helpful. That personal customer service makes the difference.
Love the format so far, very clean and professional. Videos are well recorded and informative. Not sure what people hate about this site. I really am enjoying it and learning a lot.
I was very impressed with the service the support staff at Stacksocial. They get an A+ from me! You won't be disappointed should you need to avail yourself of their services.
Purchased a VPN but did not receive an activation, serial code license all they sent to my Stacksocial inbox was a promotional code (20% off next purchase)
Complained twice got 2 replies from so called customer service who went by the names Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne said check my inbox, but they had closed my account.
Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
Answer: Hi Humberto, We would love to help you on this. Please contact us at https://support.stackcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Answer: I responded to an ad. Very stupid of me, and i will never do that again!
Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.
