I purchased MS Office from Stack Social and it does not work. MicroSoft says that Stack Social sells Activation Codes that have previously been activated by other customers. They offered to send another link and code when I reported the problem. That code also failed to activate the sof. They refuse to refund my money. They are theives, liars and crooks. DO NOT BUY FROM STACK SOCIAL UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN!
Despite their FAQ clearly describing a 7 day satisfaction guarantee. There is no guarantee whatsoever. I ordered a course and couldn't understand the thick accent of the speaker so I contacted them within 5 minutes of ordering. They told me that they have a very strict no return policy despite me directly quoting the information provided from their website that says otherwise
I have been purchasing various items through StackSocial and find the value to be incredible. I had no issues until trying to redeem an item yesterday, and support was able to make the correction and assist me in the redemption process quickly and effectively. Very happy with the products and extremely happy with their support.
I received my items pretty quick but I was never given any tracking information. Every time I would check it told me it was being processed. So after 6 days I asked and got a response later that day after I got item in the mail. Fix tracking issue and I would give a 5
I have $100's of dollars purchased on deals.slashdot.org, now owned by stacksocial. I have asked 6 times for a reset password link, and receive the same email saying it has been sent. I have filled out 2 tickets, and after that same boilerplate email is sent, the tickets have been marked solve. NOT true. I cannot access what I have purchased. A horrible, horrible, experience, bordering on theft.
UPDATE:
Immediately after posting this review (coincidence), I received a password, which did not work. I tried this password three hours later, and it worked. So - I am satisfied that I can now access my account on stacksocial.com. I am still dumbfounded by how long it took to affect a simple password reset. I am also at a loss to understand why the related tickets were marked solved, when they were not.
I purchased a Bluetooth headset. It was so bad the sound was totally garbled. Contacted StackSocial and within a day, the issue was resolved by them issuing a "Store Credit" for the full amount of the purchase. This was completely fine with me!
I was having an issue when redeeming a purchase and was complaining to their customer support (they called themselves support heroes). Within a day I got the help, just like that problem solved and i have no more issue with my purchase. Thanks.
Total complete rip-off artists... Don't stand behind their products, and never ever listen to you, and never ever give refunds... Even if it's a faulty product... You are stuck, and out of your money...
Every now and then, there's a huge discount on a course you really want. Happened to me, and I bought it. But I couldn't get into the course! Tech support stuck with me until I stopped doing whatever stupid thing I was doing, and voila' I have my course.
[Note that it's too early to rate the course -- I'm rating their customer service.]
Thanks!
I ordered a pair of bluetooth earphones, estimated shipping of time of 3-5 weeks. 3 months, countless unanswered emails and my patience later, no earphones, no refund and an order status of 'order recieved'. Absolutely disgraceful, do not order from this site unless you want to part with your money for absolutely no reason.
I was browsing Facebook and an ad came up for a significantly reduced price on a set of Bluetooth earphones, which I had been on the prowl for. I tried a promo code given for being a new member and it didn't work. I was also given another promo code that would have applied to what I was buying. I took screenshots of everything and sent it in for help. It took 2 new codes before we finally got one to work and Zach helped me the whole way.
One of the worst company to deal with. Made my first purchase with a coupon but they charged me full price different than the one they showed when coupon applied. It's been two weeks trying to get a refund from them. First, they won't reply to my emails then opened a PayPal dispute and now they wanted to get in touch with me and kept asking me to cancel the dispute for them to refund me. I'm hesitant on doing that since they might not refund me. But come to think of it if they wanted to refund me they can easily refund me through PayPal, but they won't reply in time and just wasting time. They are a SCAM company, and I will not recommend anyone to do any business with them or use extreme caution!
I've been using the website for a while now, always for digital products and memberships, and I've not had a problem with them.
What they provide is, as we say in the UK, exactly what it says on the tin.
I purchased an item on Friday via PayPal. PayPal shows the payment but the company website does not. Where did my. Payment go? I can not get anyone to contact me back so I wonder is this company for real.
I purchased an item through the Boing-Boing store, and when it was delivered, it only worked twice before failing. The only way to reach StackSocial is through the web, and I have gotten no response whatsoever to my defective item inquiry. Actually called the manufacturer, and left a voicemail (not too hopeful of a response from them either). Wish I had seen this site before purchase.
1 week ago I stumbled upon Stacksocial website and browse through it.
I noted there are several free items for download and I clicked on it. For some reason, I did not get instruction for download.
I wrote to its support and got a response the same day with clear instruction for alternative download method.
I should comment the fast and effective response from the Support of StackSocial
Cheers
Horrible service, they tell you you get a certificate of completion, which you don't sand then trying to get them to reverse charges for false advertising their training is next to impossible, save you money and use a different service. Especially when this service is just pig-tailing off another service!
I purchased an unlimited VPN: lifetime membership from Stack commerce and after the fact I found a promo code that could have been applied. I contacted support and they were able to provide the refund of the promo code amount! I am really happy about it and appreciate the support!
Great customer service by Serena. My order was taking a little too long to be delivered. Serena contacted me and followed up until I received the items that I ordered. The product I ordred was good when it finally arrived. Thanks Serena, you're the BEST!
Each time I have signed up for one of StackSocial's 'lifetime' subscription offers, within a year the company that actually provides the services writes that there was an error or mistake, and that 'lifetime' subscription you purchased will actually expire at the end of the year. (LiveDrive, VPN, etc.) Buyer beware.
Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
Answer: Hi Humberto, We would love to help you on this. Please contact us at https://support.stackcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Answer: I responded to an ad. Very stupid of me, and i will never do that again!
Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.

So incredibly sorry for the delay and inconvenience. Unfortunately StackSocial does not offer phone support, but do not hesitate to contact us again at support@stacksocial.com though, if you are needing any further assistance. I will send you a PM to see if you still need assistance and an agent will follow up if necessary. Sorry again for the trouble and looking forward to exceeding your expectations in the future!
