Pro: The quality is what you would expect The color is same as pictured Sizing is as it says online (tip order a size up if you are worried and get it fitted at home) The online bot will give you a USPS tracking number once shipped and is helpful I included a picture of the Dress from the website for reference I have one more dress coming so hopefully my results are the same. My advice is to order your dress 2-3 months before you need it to give ample/extended shipping time and get alterations as needed when it comes. Overall I am excited to wear my dress and it looks exactly like the picture, and I cannot speak to others but this is a real review and I do love the dress I received. Con: Dress does take longer than it says to ship that you would expect The reviews definitely scared me however that has not been my expierence at all so I almost feel like some of the negative reviews are inaccurate.

Apparently you have to open a ticket for a return, stalk your ticket on their website to see if someone answered (cause who has time for that when planning a wedding) and send pictures. Why should I have to send pictures of a dress I didn't wear because the material looks cheap and the sizes are so far off from being true to size!

I bought two prom dresses from Stacees as my daughter couldn't decide which she preferred. I contacted the online chat facility and was told if we order a standard size we could return them, I just needed to email Stacees and they would send me a return address. Sadly, this has not happened. Both dresses need returning as they do not fit and, as the other reviews have said, I've been given the run around. I contacted Stacees immediately to say I wanted to return the dresses and since then I have received a number of emails offering me a fraction of what I paid, the latest offer was £60 and I paid £220!
I have asked for this to be escalated to the manager but again, this hasn't happened. I wish I'd read the reviews on returning items before purchasing the dresses as I would not have used this company. My advice is to avoid at all costs.

The dress ordered doesn't even remotely resemble the dress pictured! After 7 attempts to contact via email, their website help. And chat, they are still REFUSING TO PROVIDE return instructions! Just giving me the run around. The dresses are CHEAP AND EMBARASSING!

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from Stacees! Their products are not as advertised. Material is nothing like as described! Don't waste your money or time! And THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE RMA INFIRMATION despite their policy!

Faulty item sent and return process started. Full refund not offered, faulty zip was my fault and resolution was for me to take to local tailor to get the zip fixed for a £10 refund! Despite many commications. Including photos and videos of the issue they have not offered a full refund. Matter is now with PayPal to resolve. I will never use this retailer again or recommend it to anyone who values their money and getting an item that is fit for purpose.

I regret to say that my recent experience with STACEES has been extremely disappointing. My sister purchased a wedding dress from your company, expecting a smooth process as promised by your policies, only to encounter a series of issues that have left us deeply dissatisfied.

First and foremost, despite assurances regarding returns and refunds for "off the shelf" dresses that do not fit, we have been met with significant delays and obstacles in processing a return for the ill-fitting dress my sister received. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for assistance, including email correspondence and chat messages, the response has been inadequate and unhelpful.

The lack of urgency in addressing this matter is particularly distressing, considering the time-sensitive nature of wedding preparations. My sister, understandably distraught, requires a refund to procure a wedding dress that fits properly. However, the delay in processing the return has hindered her ability to move forward with her wedding plans, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Despite our clear communication and adherence to your company's stated policy, which promises returns and refunds for unfit dresses, we have yet to receive the necessary returns label and refund commitment within the specified timeframe. This failure to uphold your own promises reflects poorly on the integrity and reliability of STACEES.

In light of these disappointing circumstances, I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with others considering purchasing from STACEES. It is important for potential customers to be aware of the discrepancies between the promises made by STACEES regarding returns and refunds and the actual experience faced by consumers like myself and my sister.

I had hoped for a swift and amicable resolution to this matter, but it is evident that STACEES has failed to meet even the basic expectations of customer service and satisfaction. I urge others to exercise caution when considering purchasing from STACEES, as our experience highlights significant shortcomings in your commitment to customer care.

I requested a return because the dress did not zip, and they asked for photos of me in it? (Uh… the dress that doesn't fit?!) Then never responded when I said no, because that is an inappropriate request, and asked to begin the return process. SCAM "return policy". Buyers beware!

Really bad experience ordering from Stacees. The colour of the dress was completely wrong, it should have been a sage green with similar colored sequins, but what arrived was a lime/fluorescent green dress with bright gold sequins. It looked awful and my daughter was so disappointed and now has to find another dream for her school ball in one week. We don't have the money for another dress.

When I queried it as soon as it arrived in the mail, Stacees just came back saying they could not see anything wrong with the 'tailor's finish' when it was clesrly nothing to do with that. I sent clear pictures to show the massive discrepancy in colour. They refused to refund us, then offered to make another dress (at our additional cost and shipping), then said don't send the other dress back as it will get lost in the mail?!)
This company is a joke and a compete rip-off. It appears that you are ordering from a reputable UK or USA site but the dresses are shipped from China and judging by the customer services replies I've had, they are China-based as well. Will obviously not ever order from Stacees again, I'm now over $250 out of pocket and have a dress that looks like it should be sent to the charity shop or the dress up box, with no offer of compensation from customer service.
I just keep getting the same email back from various 'people' saying that I can pay to have another dress made...wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again, they need to read the room!
After several messages back and forwards going round in circles, I have not heard anything from them for several days.hence why I am posting this review as I feel I have given them a fair chance to rectify the situation but have heard nothing.

Be aware, terrible after sales service, once they have your money it appears that they do not care!

Pro:

The quality is what you would expect
The color is same as pictured
Sizing is as it says online (tip order a size up if you are worried and get it fitted at home)

shipping is 3 stars because it is slow, and service is 4 because the ai computer on the website is helpful but I always prefer a real person however I cannot complain about my experience. Anything I can happily use for an event at this price makes me happy so value and quality and genuinely high as that the dress it what it said it would be and will be used more than once.

DO NOT order from this place! Their website promises "worry free returns", so I ordered two different sizes for my daughter for Homecoming. Well, the dresses not only didn't look or feel like the photo (cheap fabric), but now they won't return them. I paid $190 plus shipping for two dresses and after many emails back and forth, they want to give me $35 and for me to sell the dresses myself. It is so frustrating and unprofessional. I am realizing that I will likely never get my money back and these two dresses will go in the trash, but I'm hoping that I can prevent someone else from falling into the same trap as me. There are plenty of other legitimate sites out there for dresses. But this one is NOT. Please, dont shop fro them.

The service, delivery and dress were good. However, the dress is a little big and the hem is a bit uneven. I am concerned that when I get the dress taken in, the (floor length) hem will lift up and be more obvious. However, not bad for the money, if you can't afford something better. I have some concerns about the ethics of this company; how well do they pay their staff (which I stupidly didn't think about until too late).

Do NOT waste your money! Ordered a prom dress, received it & it looks nothing like online. Color is way off too. Didn't fit and the seam in the back was way off center. Paid $165. They told me I could resell it and they would refund me $40. You also can't reach them. You have to start a new chat every time and ask that someone contact you. Scam! Terrible!

We received a dress in about ten days - completely acceptable timing. The dress looked cheap on my daughter and did not fit well. I immediately requested a return ticket, as this is their process. I indicated it did not fit well (I did not want to insult their material, so I stuck with fit only - being too large).
They took their time getting back to me. John replied, saying, "May I know which part doesn't fit? Could you please provide us some pics you trying on?"
I replied that I would not send him pictures of my 16-year-old daughter in a dress that didn't fit (creepy!) and that he could please provide the return ticket.
I received an email back a few days later asking for an additional $40 and measurements so they could remake the dress. I replied, once again, requesting a return ticket and a full refund.
This is the start of my negative reviews. I never write negative reviews, so I will be hunting around for general sites so I can get the word out. Seems others have had similar problems. Consider this a friendly warning and go shop elsewhere. I will be returning to the many other companies we support and buy from for future events and dances.
Do yourself a favor and abandon that cart your have going on Stacees. Go to Princess Polly, Revolve, Bloomingdales, or Love Shack Fancy - whatever you want. Anywhere but here.

I hope these people find someone who saves their souls. They are deceitful and should not be in business. They're extorting money. Horrible people.

The dresses were pretty but DON'T buy from them! We bought 2 dresses for my daughter for prom after I very clearly asked if we could refund for full refund if they didn't fit correctly. The answer was a clear "Yes". Now that they didn't fit and we want to return, they now say only if it's damaged can it be returned. They ask for pictures and suggest going to a tailor and will NOT gove the address return and lots of run around.RUN from this company!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I ordered my daughter's prom dress. When it arrived it wasn't true to the size and the quality was rubbish. I contacted them to get a return label, they asked me to create a ticket which I did. This was 5 weeks ago now and I am going around in circle. They don't answer the whatsapp, (only to say they will ask the team to contact me), then each time a different person emails (half of my emails are unanswered) and when they do email they say to create a ticket or that I should keep the dress and try to re-sell it! They are avoiding to provide me with the return label. Once they have your money and the product is rubbish (which it is!) they rob you of your £130 and lie to you in every email. I have now escalate it through PayPal and if I can stop anyone getting ripped off like I did, then that will make me happy. This company needs to close down. DO NOT BUY from them - you will get robbed and have a battle on your hand! How are they allowed to do this, I will never know! But more people need to speak up!

The dresses I ordered were made to size however came in a completely different shade of grey with a different shade of belt. As I can see from other reviews i couldn't return the dress only buy another one at a discounted price. I wouldn't recommend this company which is a shame as the dresses online look beautiful.

Do not! I mean do not order from here! My dress is 10 shades lighter than pictured & 3 in too short! Looks nothing as pictured! I've been speaking to someone for over a week and get no where! They blame it on lighting instead of taking accountability for their mistake! And on top of me sending pictures as proof they offered me $20 compensation! What a joke for a $165 dress!

The dress was of course, poor material, and poorly fitting. Honestly it didn't fit at all. Their site makes it so difficult to try to get in touch with them and all they reply is send more money and they will send me another dress( of poor quality)throwing more of my money away! Then they stopped emailing once I refused their offer to throw good money after bad and I wanted just to return the dress! I will take further action and NEVER GIVE THIS UP!

I ordered a dress for my daughters wedding. Paid $235. The quality is so cheap. When I emailed them about a return they gave me the run around about it getting lost in the mail and I wouldn't be able to get a refund if that happened. Told me to keep the dress and try to resell it. When I refused they offered to reimburse me $40 and still keep the dress. I have sent numerous emails and now they have simply stopped responding.

I would rate zero stars if allowed. My daughter ordered her prom dress, received it and was way too big as well as the color was far from what was represented online. We submitted a request the day we received it, It's now been a week and the company refuses to send a return tag, but offered us $20.00 and told us to keep the dress and try to resell. Our next offer was to pay them $50.00 more for them to alter it. Their return policy clearly states returns within 14 days and from their website it states: Can i return the dress when i receive it?
You can return the dress and get refund if there is anything wrong with the dress you received.
They're are impossible to get a hold of live, no phone number that I've been able to locate. We have even communicated via instagram to try and get this rectified. Save yourself the money, time and headache and DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! Needless to say, this return predicament placed us in a time constraint and we had no choice but to shop elsewhere for her prom dress due to a time constraint and so THANKFUL we did! We couldn't have asked for better customer service with the new dress store.

I bought two dresses and they even asked me if I planned on returning the one I didn't like for a refund, which I confirmed. I got both dresses and naturally preferred one over the other, so I naturally went to return the other, and they offered me £80 after I spent $160+ on it. Every time I reply to one email, a completely different person emails me, so I decided to save myself a headache and keep the second dress, but now they're trying to give me money back despite me saying I'll keep both dresses. This feels like a scam waiting to happen. Try a different website.

Our tailor made the dress to the style and size you ordered, we indeed took much effort and cost on this. Hope you can understand. But in the other way, considering that you dissatisfied with the dress, we hope to help you as much as we can. As you see, this is a long-distance package and there are the risks. The return cost is paid by the customer. Our refund will be made after receiving the returned item. According to our previous customer feedback, the return time will be longer, which is beyond our scope of handling, I hope you can understand.
So we have applied our manager to refund you $20 and you needn't return the dress you received. Hope you can consider it.

Ordered a standard size dress and when it was received it was not as advertised per their website. There is no phone number for customer service. Communication is via email and takes days for a response. They refuse to issue a full refund and expect you to pay $30 shipping fee to them when it cost $15 to ship from them to me. Poorly run business and customer service.

After leaving bad reviews and messaging them many many times, Stacee's has not responded to my refund requests after promising an amount. They have (after some time) gotten back to me about my dress return, but if I don't get a response about my refund they was stated, I will be reporting the company itself. This process has been over several months and I'm extremely disappointed with they way they have been handling things. All I want to do is return my dress and get the money back in the amount that they promised, and it seems they are making a whole bunch of empty promises.
