The battery tray was advertised as an exact reproduction tray. It is not. What was delivered was not what was pictured. Mounting holes do not line up to the radiator shroud and the tray area that would hold down the battery hits high on the inner wheel well and will not mount to it.
I ordered key locks for my 1974 Camaro. There are two versions of keys, long and short shaft cylinders. I needed short shaft cylinders which I thought I found at SS396. The picture matched short shaft cylinders, however, I called and spoke to a representative to verify since the description on the website did not indicate. The representative advised they were short shaft cylinders. I purchased them and when they arrived they were long shaft cylinders which is not what I was advised. I called to inquire about returning which they did provide an RMA #, but I was told I needed pay for shipping. I had to pay $25 to return a product that they told me was correct. This was very disappointing. I thought they would have more integrity than what I experienced. Very disappointed as I have heard good things about this company and I was looking forward to buying many more products from them for my build. I am not sure about this anymore.
Parts that were ordered were spot on as advertised, thanks for being there, quality parts are becoming scarce in the world of junk parts being advertised.

Ordered complete wiper motor with pump received cheap chinese motor with pump separately which required modification just to bolt on cninese motor which had electrical conn in wrong position which they are aware of as it is stated in their catalog. Well the cheap chinese motor did not work cost me 30.00 additional dollars for return shipping they would not accept modified pump for return even though they made the decision to send that junk without even notifying me. Meanwhile customer is waiting

SS396 is an awesome company. Easy ordering, great customer service and great products. I have made several orders and ordering, confirmation, fulfilment and shipping notification are always quick and precise. Fedex on the other hand was a cluster, delayed attempted delivery said noone was available ( no signature was needed) called customer service and was told it was delayed, getting to Concord, this happened twice. How can a delivery be attempted if it hasn't arrived at the terminal(twice)? Finally arrived 4 days late.

The seat covers, came wrong all the stiching did not match top to bottom. Front and rear seats were totally off. I sent in plenty of pics, reached out multiple times finally returning email. Not willing to help much at all. I'm stuck at interior shop I booked months back to get a date In and they pretty much don't care about customer service they got my money and that good for them. Telling me I have to pay etc all over again for something that I bought off them!
Nobody carries the specific Black with gray speck trunk paint that is stock for my 68 Chevelle that I purchased from Ground Up. Most retailers carry gray / white or black /aqua. It's all about the detail. Thank you!

Clips fit and worked like they should. The only problem is the description. Said was windshield trim clips and they are belt molding clips. Probably cost you some sales. I knew that it was a mistake in the description when I ordered.
I enjoy browsing the Ground Up SS396 site. The parts always seem to be in stock and arrive in a very timely manner, usually within 4-5 days. I have been very pleased with my overall shopping experience with SS396. More orders are forth coming.
Ordered a 67 Chevy II grill and front grill emblem. I was concerned about quality because of the lower price than their competitors but everything was top notch. I ordered on a Thursday and received product by Wednesday am in Georgia.
With help from Matt, had my order sorted out. Placed my order Wednesday night and it arrived that Saturday. I didn't expect it till Monday. I thought it was cool they allowed Saturday delivery on a ground order.
