Went to tamworth branch today, for new trainers, i was interested in reebok, and i am a size 13. But every pair i was interested in, they said sorry we are out of stock, i must have enquired about 4 or 5 different pairs.the assistant was very polite and helpfull, but i wonder if sports direct have everheard of stocktaking, its where you check and make sure you have enough stock in, which obviously there not doing. I gave up and went to brantano, to get a cheap own brand instead. Sports direct need to get their act together.not at all impressed.

I've bought a bike from sportsdirect.com and had it sent internationally. After a few days, I received an email from them requesting a review. I gave my most honest and detailed review so others could make a decision and understand the mountain bike which I purchased, from Dunlop at 89.99£, 26'', frame 18'', purple and white colour. I had written this review:
"PROS:
- looks nice;
- double suspension is effective, especially when seating, you will feel the spring;
- frame appears sturdy, even if it is very heavy;
- price is affordable.
- delivery was very fast. I ordered on the 18th Sept. And received it on the 23rd Sept. From the UK to Malta.

CONS:
- tires and wheels take up to 90kg, as written on them. This info is NOT provided on description;
- gears were messed up when I rode the bike for the 1st time (it would never get into the 4th, 5th or 6th, the gear would be too loose when I would change it even up to the max. Had to play around with it for 20 minutes in order to somehow, miraculously make it work);
- 6th gear (highest and stiffest) sometimes makes chain go loose or it simply doesn't go into 6th;
- painting scratches easily - careful how you use scissors to open the packaging;
- gear levers on hand are not comfortable to change and the writing of the gear number you are in is hard to read when riding;
- V brakes are very hard to adjust, even with manual. Will have to pay for a bike shop to adjust them as neither me or my partner can fix them.
- saddle is very stiff and narrow, extremely uncomfortable. Will have to buy a wider and softer saddle.

Otherwise, I give this bike 3 out of 5.

Still, even after all this, I would recommend it on promotion, but not at original price."

They disapproved of my comment without any reason even though I posted it on the correct page, did not swear or violate any community terms!
I've already sent an email to costumer. Service requesting a justification for this.

My experience:
- Had to return an item bought in store. Made to take a credit note despite originally paying by debit card and the receipt stating in small print that customers can get a refund by original purchase method.
- Used the credit note online, as store did not have suitable alternative to original purchase. Was charged delivery, and read that delivery costs are refunded should item not be suitable. Item did not fit, returned by different courier service to SportsDirect expectation to use the highest cost service (SportsDirect postage over £12, courier service I used was £5) and the delivery was completed no issues within 2 days.
- Refunded with a gift voucher, and told it can only be used for one item, and there was no refund of postage.
- Questions and complaint about this completely ignored, replies are just statements that a refund has been made, even though it actually has not, as stated by Sports Direct own policies.

I will never used SportsDirect again, and do not recommend anyone else to use them. My complaint will go to the Ombudsman service.

Not only was i over charged by 700 dollars they refused on giving the money back said my bank charged it i paid shipping then i had to repay shipping again before dhl would deliver my order was 1000 dollars. By the time i paid shipping and shipping and the extra 700 i ended up paying nearly 2000 dollars not worth the headache and still have a dispute with the bank regarding the over charge payment... i wouldn't order again worst experience ever...

We all like a bargain, don't we? We all like a good quality bargain, yes? Well I've shopped at Sportsdirect a few times now and have found their prices second to none. Now some of you will say. Ah! Sportsdirect is only for youngsters, it is all trainers and them tracksuit thingies. You know them stripey (druggy) trousers. Yes they do do them and they also do do the stripey tops to match, if that's what floats your boat. They also do (or do do, if you prefer) a whole range of apparel, yes good clothes for everyone from eighteen to eighty, or even nineteen to ninety, and those among us who are, walkers, joggers, runners, cyclists, swimmers, skiers, boxers, etc, etc, etc...

In my last and fairly recent order I purchased several "Slazenger" brand T shirts, these were priced at between £2.00 to £3.00 each. The quality of these is excellent, made of a good material and they fit like a glove. No, no, they fit like a well tailored T shirt. Phew! That was close, you want gloves to fit like, er gloves, and I expect the ones they sell do, or even do do.

The only negative points I would raise about Sportsdirect are, online delivery is charged at £3.99 on orders under £100.00 (would be nice if they could offer free delivery to one's (posh eh!) nearest store). Also their stores are so full of stock, you can struggle to find what you want but apart from that they are, very, very good.

After 2 weeks of use boots start to leak, and I wrote a review, but review has been Disapproved and Removed without justification.

If you looking for quality waterproof boots, don't buy these. The price corresponding quality - got leak after 2 weeks of wearing in normal daily use. Water starts coming in even walking on just the wet grass.
Also I have feet length 27 cm and I bought 9 UK, fits perfect (even can put on second pair of thin socks).

I recently bought a Dunlop rebel 56 degree lob wedge. It did every thing that it said it would. What it didn't say was that it badly scuffed the ball. I took it back and explained the problem. After some time trying to explain to the sales assistant. That I had to use the club before I knew the problem. They exchanged it. Then I tried to review it. The review was rejected on the grounds the I was being abusive. I used no bad language just the truth.
