Bought a pair of walking boots at your Swansea store on 3rd June. Went to try them on at home with thick socks and the fitting became uncomfortable. Took the boots back today and they wouldn't refund my money only exchange or credit. I was not told this when I purchased the boots. Can you please help.

On the issue of not refunding the purchase price, is that common policy for retailers in the UK?

I'm surprised there isn't a government agency for consumer protection that looks into / bans this.
