Sent me the wrong size of the shoes, doesn't admit it is their fault, doesn't want to take any responsibilities, doesn't want to resolve the problem. Only answer was online shopping size varies and quickly blacklisted me, so I couldn't log on to their website to write a real review. Can't believe in it! Avoid at all cost!
Opened up my parcel ordered from sports direct. It contained two polo shirts Both had £5 sale tags on although I was charged £6 and £5.25.One of these shirts was bundled up in the parcel, not in a plastic bag and smelling of damp. Customer care had some excuse about the prices, but after two requests to answer my inquiry regarding smelly unpackaged shirt. I told them that I had washed it and kept as it's too much bother to send it back. The last I heard was some silly member of staff asking for an image of shirt. I said what was the point after it had been washed. Still waiting for answer. Very poor customer care.
Horrible customer service.
I have never felt so humiliated and disrespected in my life. I will never buy anything from this brand
1. The staff is unprofessional and not knowledgeable. I was looking for Nike Air Relentless 6 in black. I went to A store on Oxford street. I could only find it in blue and asked the shop assistant if they had in black. He said they only had the same items in the storage as the ones on the floor. I begged him to check. It turned out they had it
2. The staff is incompetent. When I was trying on the shoe, another customer liked the shoe and asked where I found it. I told her. She asked the sales person to check it for her. The salesperson told me to show the show. I was about to show when he without saying anything disappeared for 30 minutes with my show.
3. The staff is rude and disrespectful. I waited for 30 minutes and I was running late for my appointment. He finally appeared with my shoe. I grabbed the show and wanted to go downstairs to get another item from the same store and pay together. The store employee stopped me asking where I was taking the shoe. I told him I was taking it to the till. He said customers are not allowed to carry the shoes due to security. He said he would follow me to the ground floor with the show.
4. Before I was waiting for the salesperson who disappeared with my shoe, I asked another employee where the pink Nike fitness gloves where. He said they were on the ground floor. It appeared they were on the first floor. So the guy who followed me downstairs had to follow me upstairs holding my shoes.
5. I went to the till and I was already so frustrated that I got my debit card password wrong. One of the cashiers told the cashier serving me: "I am getting frustrated with this customer, aren't you?"
I AM NEVER SHOPPING here again
Ordered the same shoes for the 2nd time hoping that the proper size will be delivered. Nope, it's UK 9.5 again. Yes, I find the way how to deal with the first pair as I don't like to waste my time on RMAs.
Why do you have US/EU sizes on your website and in order if you don't take them into consideration? (photo: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=**************&set=a****************************259&type=3)
Also no response in 24 hours!
The new peckham manager is not nice to both his employee and customer. Sport direct makes their staff to close later than their work time with no overtime payment.
Ordred boots for my daughter. Needed them next day so paid extra to get them. We are still waiting 3 days later. Could not get through to the customer service line as it said it was busy and to call back. The emails I have sent have not been answered either. I will never buy from this company again. Shockingly poor service.
Sprots Direct sells cheap and great products however customer serves is dreadful! However it does sell good stuff so around 6/10!
We ordered a football kit online. They cancelled the shirt which, was more than half the value of the order, after they had taken our payment. They refused to cancel and refund the order, even though I replied to the email telling me of the cancelled shirt immediately. They must have known that the shirt was out of stock, as the cancellation email came only a few hours after our order confirmation email. Now we have to pay the expensive delivery cost for the socks and shorts and find another store to buy the shirt from. Needless to say it won't be sports direct.
I purchase 2 pair of shoes size 10 they sent size 11 us size. I emailed to return they never emailed me back, I am now stuck with 2 pair of Nike shoes the wrong size. I just love wasting money on stuff I can't use! Not! First and last time will ever use. They have no problem sending me there ad emails every day!
Order online, bad size sent or dirty.
You have to pay to send it back.
My last shopping Sports Direct.
Firstly the 'good' part, EMAIL contact with customer service was actually quite quick; that they are bound hand and foot by the RIPOFF rules made by management isn't their fault. I actually feel SORRY for anyone working for SportsDirect.
I ordered an item (5 of) and when I received them, they were NOTHING like the advert description. CS first response was they saw 'nothing wrong' till I sent photo's AGAIN of the items received and the photo on the advert. They then offered to accept a return. But the return costs they would only pay back with a CHEQUE!
A CHEQUE anno 2017!
In Holland (where they sold it to), a UK check has less use than toilet paper, but honestly, who in heavens name uses CHEQUES any more. On the continent no-one's used chequebooks for more than 15 years... that's back in the banking prehistoric times. I personally haven't used one for more than 25 years.
It's no wonder Brexit Brits want to isolate themselves from the rest of the world. Pull up the drawbridge and go back a few centuries.
There was no way to explain to them that the rest of the world uses things such as Credit Cards, Internet Banking, PayPal etc etc where it's EASY to transfer payments instead of a WORTHLESS PIECE OF PAPER WITH A SIGNATURE!
It's obvious that with an electronic payment the money IS actually payed back, with a cheque they have the possibility that some don't/can't cash it.
Just a COWBOY company.
BEWARE!
What a farse to return an item that is ill fitting. Miserable staff, 5 deep in a queue before asking a staff member passing by to serve. Then a credit note for an ill fitting top! No return the money to your card. A paper receipt, what a con. Won't use them again.
They just ignored my complaint.
Sports Direct sent me the wrong item because 'they' had the wrong tag on the item - yet I had to pay the postage to return it. Not even so much as an apology for 'their' mistake, not to mention leaving me out of pocket with recorded postage.
I'll never shop online or in store with Sports Direct again.
The delivery was on time and product was good. Customer service was not great but altogether we were pretty happy with the order. Would use the service again if the price is right.
They shipped me the wrong order... only one item in the 5 item order was what i actually wanted. Been fighting with them on email for 4 weeks and getting nowhere. WHY?
This company is a joke. Sent clothing out with security tags attached. Then they refused to send replacements and take items back. Absolutely disgraceful. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs
For my son I ordered some football boots with screw on studs and we realised one stud missing. Customer services said they will send out asap the missing stud. I am still waiting 2 weeks later. Do they check their stock before it leaves their premises? If they do then why are so many customers orders incorrect or incomplete? Do they hold anyone accountable on their end? Or happy to lose customers but know they can get more because of the cheapness of the stock they sell?
After receiving the wrong size due to the product being incorrectly labeled online, I have emailed a number of times with limited responses. The product was returned to be exchanged for the correct size and the automatic email states it is being exchanged due to being faulty. When that wasn't the case nor what I wrote on the return slip. I have emailed 5 times in the last 4 days and have received no replies. I wanted confirmation that the order was being exchanged for the correct size. I now wish I asked for a refund and took my business elsewhere. I'm extremely pissed off. Its not that hard to return an email and answer a customers question.
They do not even reply when you email them.
They removed things from my order, 3 Slow-Cookers, which I had ordered as Xmas presents, saying that items were not for international orders, but they leave the same postage cost, which should be very reduced once the 3 heavier items were not allowed to be posted.
How unfair.
NEVER USE THE NEXT DAY DELIVERY OPTION! THE COMPANY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DELIVER THE ITEM AS STANDARD!
I ordered some work boots and paid extra for 'next day delivery' and the items never turned up?
I lost a days work and also waited in the previous day for the delivery.
I have read many review with people who have suffered from the same problem, hence why I think the 'next day delivery' option is a SCAM!
I also want to add that the click and collect option is £4.99! (Robbery!)
Answer: Stores in the USA selling hiking boots usually have thick socks for customers to put on before trying boots. If this store does not, it would be wise to wear the socks you plan to use with the boots when trying them on. Caveat emptor
Answer: On the issue of not refunding the purchase price, is that common policy for retailers in the UK? I'm surprised there isn't a government agency for consumer protection that looks into / bans this.
