I was here looking for alias etc and doind a check on my bf. His birthday is correct, but im mnot sure how easy it would be for someone to mess up a search. Threre is so much evidencehe has tampered with location and other emails of mine that im not sure im etting correct results when i look him up now. Now it shows two women with his wifes name, family members, etc... one is the correct age, one profile shows the same woman in her 70's I dont know if its possible for someone to add people in or add themselves or modify the search in some way. He can seem to modify everything else...
When i lookup myself it shows me 3 years older than I am and includes addresses in PA ive never lived. Now its showing I have over 120 social medica accounts, all names and emails, ive never had. Same with his ex wife. A search of one of his brothers shows him 33 when he is well over 55 I also see not for profit businesses in his name, 3, and he doestn own any? All down in Florida... with names of managers etc. I havent looked all of them up yet.
So all in all, yes i can find everyone, iim nt sure how easy the system would be to hack and make people up.
Fast way to find old friends. Also good way to check the validy of what someone is telling you about themselves.

I ordered Spoke trial for.95 cents. I should have known they would want more money for more information. I'm telling you go with your gut! If it feels like you're going to be sucked dry of your money for what was supposed to be in the trial, your first instinct is right. And if they had a different approach of selling their product they should be straight up front with the prices and what each package contains,in full! I wouldn't be giving a bad review if they would have put useful information in the trial. And I would have been happy with spending my money for useful information. But the way they deceived me with useless information is unacceptable when doing business. They don't even care about what this does to the company name and certainly don't care about their customers needs. They are sabotaging themselves. People who utilize this kind of business are serious because they are looking for information to protect their family from anyone that might hurt them. Yes I'm willing to pay whatever fees it takes to do that. But, when a business advertises a free or at a discount, the results should be useful information so as to draw the customer in for a possible full package. Because they were happy with what the trial provided. Not because they needed important information yet only got addresses that weren't even correct. You should be ashamed of yourselves! I don't know who you had in charge of the message you want to send people about your business but I'd definitely rethink your approach and not treat your customers like brainless objects. You lack compassion because there are so many people who don't have a lot of money that could really NEED the trial you offered. But they would have lost their $1.00 to incorrect, useless information! Like I said before, Shame on you! Get someone who is more creative and savey to remake your trials so as to ATTRACT customers into WANTING to use your business and they can honestly give you 5 stars and refer friends.

Today I performed a search for a phone number and was charged 1.95, but never received the results from the search. When unable to log in to the site, I contacted customer service. The person I spoke with attempted to supply instructions to view my results. While I had been waiting to speak with him, I performed the same search on 411.com and got the number I needed for free (and with a lot less hassle). When I told him this and asked for a refund, he told me that was not possible. He then asked if I would like for him to perform a complimentary search and go over the results with me. I replied that what I wanted is to view what I paid for, so he again attempted to supply instructions to log in, but got frustrated with my insistence that he stay on the line with me until I was able to successfully log in and view the results I had paid for. Suddenly, he interrupted me to indicate that he had refunded my payment and closed my account. Again he tried to leave the phone call, but I requested a confirmation number and his name. He did provide a confirmation number for the refund and indicated that I will receive no further charges, but would only provide his first name. When I pressed for that information, he gave only an 'identifying employee number'. While I had been speaking with him, I was reading all of the bad reviews from individuals, indicating that their card was charged for a monthly membership after similarly paying for only one search result. To be certain that I wouldn't receive future charges to my card, I accepted his offer to connect me with a supervisor. After about 3 minutes on hold, he came back on the line saying he was about to connect me and then the call was disconnected. I never got to speak with a 'supervisor'. Warning to all: do NOT provide your payment information to this site. It's a ripoff and then you have the added worry that you may be charged for something in the future. I will check my credit card site daily until I see the charge has been refunded and will be vigilant about watching for future charges. What a total waste of time today!

Several Year's Ago I won and was awarded a "LIFETIME Membership through a Contest Spokeo had at that time. I was told I had Won a "Lifetime Membership" at No Cost to me as a Winner. I asked at the time if it would "always truly be a Lifetime" Membership.
I was told Yes and Spokeo assured me that it would last for a Full a Lifetime for my Spokeo Account. But now Spokeo appears to NOT want to HONOR the "Lifetime Membership" that they "Awarded To Me" as a Winner.
I was told that "Lifetime" truly means Lifetime. So if Spokeo **Didn't Really Want To HONOR the LIFETIME Membership, then "Spokeo should have NEVER had a Lifetime Membership Contest.** Now they just want to try to UPSELL ME a New PAY as you go PLAN. Membership. Now I can't even gain access to my Spokeo account,. That is until after they CHARGE ME for my "FREE LIFETIME Membership."
I feel that this is Complete Fraud % and is Completely UNACCEPTABLE!
If not made right I will be forced to take proper legal action. I don't do companies Wrong and try and Rip Them Off and therefore I expect the EXACT SAME TREATMENT From Any Company that I do business with. They knew Exactly WHAT They Were Doing, when they gave me thar "Lifetime Membership" that they now seem to NO LONGER Want To HONOR!

If I could give it no stars I would. I used this site once for 3.95! They said they had 100% info but right after I payed they had NOTHING! It was a complete scam to get the money! But the worst part is they have been charging me 14.95 a month completely unauthorized. I have contacted my bank and we are filing a claim. I am so furious I am getting an attorney so they learn they can not steal people's money like this! They offered to refund only three months and I told them I needed everything back it was stolen unauthorized money from me! They will be hearing from my attorney this whole website is a SCAM! It is very unfortunate that our terms were unclear to you. The $3.95 is advertised as an average monthly cost of which a total of $14.85 every three months will be deducted. This total must be agreed to before a purchase can be made. Also in the terms it states that if not cancelled, it will continue to bill you as it is a subscription based service and to prevent any service interruption. I would like to point out that we do get complaints from customers as do all business, however, that is a very small percentage of our total customer base. We have showcased many success stories on our website, families have been reunited, mothers have found their daughters and fathers have found their sons. I am truly sorry you feel that our service is stealing money from people. I can assure you that Spokeo is not. Answer: Three alternatives: 1) Logon with you old Spokeo account and contact customer support. 2) If you can't remember your old logon, 2.1) try a google search to find Spokeo customer service link or telephone number. 2.2) Spokeo has notes on some reviews. Maybe they have included their support number or link? 3) Call Visa and ask them to kill the Spokeo charges to your Visa account.

Answer: I cancelled Spokeo service due to selling me misinformation or inaccurate information. I got this in writing from David at Spokeo. They are good about sending a letter about we are sorry about not meeting your expectations. Our terms of use states we can do this blah blah blah. After I cancelled this subscription and got this in writing from David, I got a new debit card from my bank. Spokeo found the NEW CARD and charged it. I took the problem to my bank and got a credit. Be very careful of these people, watch your bank statements.
