I apply for my first credit card and get an approval from Credit One. Worst mistake of my life. Five months later I see that my card has been paid off. I call into there customer service and explain the problem and they tell me not to worry about it look at it as a gift. Two days later I call back because my card had been charged for something I didn't do. I call in and they tell me about the charges at Walmart the day after the card was paid off. I hadn't used the card in over a month. I'm not getting angrier and angrier with the person on the other end and end up closing the account and telling to start a fraud investigation. Three days later I call again to confirm the account had been closed. Four weeks later I get a notice in the mail that I owe $556.00. I pass it off knowing the account is supposed to be in an investigation. Now I am getting debt collectors calling me for the balance due. I call Credit One again completely enraged and the investigation was never started the account wasn't closed and I can't understand a damn thing they're saying. They're still telling me I owe $556.00 and that they will start an investigation and will call me back. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS BANK. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. I TRULY BELIEVE THEY ARE A SCAM!

I used spokeo about 6 months ago and cancelled everything it told me to so I wouldn't get an extra charge! I checked my statements and go figure because they had my card info even though I clicked don't store they charged me anyways for a subscription I didn't even have. When calling tech support they "claim" they can't issue a refund because the billing cycle is over. I call BS on that I work in retail and have billing cycles but even after that date I can still issue a refund. Then he tells me I'm trying to override my computer and can only issue you back 7$... really that's not what they withdrew from my account! Even if you cancel you membership and subscription be wary they may charge you anyways!
