Internet got cut many times! Bad service! Before we were with Verizon and our internet never got cut... we are going back to Verizon again
This service goes out way too much it buffers all the time and now we have no nothing no TV no internet no nothing again
Spectrum is awful they continue to go up in price and their service is awful... waiting to find better service
Spectrum us as useless as Hughesnet. They want to be as good as AT&T fiber but are unable to deliver. But yet they charge as though they are.el
Customer service is very rude on the phone. The manager and a customer representative is very nasty. On the phone, they need to fire both of them.
They offer a one week free trial but then charge you $21 for said one week free trial? That is not free.
So Spectrum steals money from their customers by:
1) They have your current bill due with future dates (example 9-16-19 to 10-17-19) this bill will be due 9-7-19 way before those dates have arrived.
2) Then they will ask you do you want electronic billing vs. paperless, then a few months in they will change the rules of payment terms & not tell you with a message on your bill. Knowing that most customers do not look at their bills as long as the amount is the same each month.
3) Then when you cancel your service they will say because of how we bill you have to pay for the month you did not even use. For example: my cycle ended 10-17-19 I cut my cable off 10-26-19. But since my new billing cycle already started I have to pay for the entire month. NO MORE PRORATED CREDITS... let me tell you I am so pissed I am going to contact my Congressman to get some laws changed about this BLATANT THIEVERY Spectrum tries. Then I am going to actively make sure I get everyone to not use them EVER EVER EVER. We as the consumers need to get the government to regulate the stuff they do, its ridiculous. GOD willing karma Spectrum & Xfinity trying to moonlight under different company names in different cities. WE SEE YOU...
Customer service is pathetic. They lie, they deny, worst than Trump. $#*! Spectrum they are the worst
I've been with Spectrum for 6 years and I was trying to switch to my phone company for internet services. I called on the 9th of January and was told I would get a refund for that month $86.
January 11th I called customer service asking when I should bring the router back and where. They told me in 15 days time bring to Auburn Maine store and this customer service assistant assured me i would get my full $86 refund. When the 16th of January came around. I unplugged the router and dropped it off at the Auburn Maine store on the 16th of January believing if I dropped it off in 15 days time after speaking to a Spectrum rep I would get my refund. 21st of January I did not get a refund at all. I waited thinking maybe because it's a weekend. Well today 23rd January I called and spoke to someone who told me they will NOT be giving me a refund because I canceled services after or during the billing month start. I am EXTREMELY upset because $86 goes to a company that clearly ripped me and my family off. That's money I could have used to feed me and my baby girl! I will not be using Spectrum for anything I the future and will be telling all of my business partners, clients, friends, and family about this experience.

Today September 10th 2022. I called to cancel my service of TV and just keeping the internet due to my bill keeps going extremely high. I paid $2,400 in advance for the year so I don't have to worry about this bill. Just to find out they increased my bill without even notifying me. But claiming they did notify me which they didn't. Long story short I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Spectrum trying to get my money back that they owe me I spoke to five different people before they finally sent me to a supervisor management team. I'm supposed to get back $971.21 the supervisor tells me he can only give me back $771.55 because the rest of the money already went towards the bill. But they already cut my service off so now they get free money instead of giving me my money back for the month of October. To make it even worse instead of them giving me back my money on my credit card that I use they're telling me they're going to send me a prepaid card. I explained to the supervisor I cannot pay my bills with their prepaid card but if you put the money back on my credit card I can pay my bills. He went on to explain to me that their policy is to give money back on a prepaid card. So I explained to him do you think it's fair that you guys get to decide how we get our money back but we don't get to decide how we give you the money. After an hour and some change of going back and forth with this you know what you keep that month bill money I really hope it does you your family and your company will. Spectrum is a sorry company very selfish and no kind of consideration for their customers. I hope everybody reads this and cancel their services with you. Times are hard right now and all them this company and other companies get think about as how can we rob the struggling. Good job Spectrum keep up the good work... if I could have gave you guys a negative 100 Stars I would have done so..
Only had 5 months, box died and they won't overnight another on I have to wait 2 days with no service
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Their motto is " My way or the Highway!" Arrogant customer service, do not care about loyal customers.
We are so incredibly frustrated with almost everything about our spectrum tv service. Why don't they look at how DirecTV works and follow their lead!

Answer: They do not care about customer retention. That being said. I have to believe it is the poorest business model I have ever come in contact with.

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
