We return the $#*! TV and they are forcing my family to pay more it suck $#*! Spectrum. I wish it never existed.
Spectrum internet constantly goes out and lags. Price continues to go up. Only internet in my area waiting for at&t to come thru...
I canceled spectrum internet and they are still billing me. The idiot person we spoke to on phone was so dumb.Where are they finding these idiots.
Our subdivision had a contract that originated with the developer 15 years ago. The contract allowed for basic cable and the amount in the contract per household was added into the subdivision monthly dues. The contract expired and, because half the neighborhood didn't want Spectrum the subdivision board did not renew, freeing residents to go with whatever company they wanted. I had Spectrum and, over and above the $36.99 p/m that I was paying in my dues for basic cable, and was paying a $110.00 bill for the next level cable and high speed internet. After the contract expired and I saw ads all over tv for $29.99 cable with Spectrum, I called to see what it would cost to continue with Spectrum. Now, first off, the customer service people said that people from our sub could only speak to the "retention" department. So I was transferred and was told that the same cable that I was paying around $150 total, (my bill plus what was added into the sub dues), would now be $215. When I asked why so much the woman told me that if I could persuade the sub board to sign another contract they would give us the going rate, til then they were going to penalize us for not renewing the contract. This company is such a rip off that I want to tell everyone to stay away from them! I'm a realtor and when asked by new customers moving into the area what cable company to use I tell them what a rip off Spectrum is. I hope I've saved a lot of people the hassle of having to deal with Spectrum. Their "come on" pricing is just that, a "come on". I went with the other cable company in our area and am paying exactly what I should of been paying with Spectrum. I would have to say that after their little bullying exercise they lost about 60% of their customers in our sub. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time with this company.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST company for internet I have EVER dealt with. I initiated service three weeks ago, it took them two weeks to get me a router, and for the past week of having a router, I've had to reboot it 7-10 times a day. Service keeps going out. I've spent a total of 26 hours on the phone since I first made contact with them calling to try to fix these problems and have found that each dispatcher and employee has CREATED NEW PROBLEMS FOR ME, that then, I have to "go up the chain of command" to solve--only to find out that supervisors REFUSE TO CALL YOU TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT OR ACTUALLY FIX YOUR PROBLEM. They gave me an appointment to have someone come check out my router for Tuesday and then without my consent changed the appointment to a day earlier, when I specifically said I wasn't available. I've spent four hours on the phone trying to fix that problem alone, and everyone is lacking in accountability. Now, "their best" is giving me a Thursday appointment, which is two days after it was originally given. Meanwhile, I don't have internet. And no one is accountable. There is no way to get through to a supervisor or management. You just deal with endless amounts of entry level bot-like people who don't know what they're doing and aren't trained with correct information. This company is EVIL. THEY ARE LITERALLY SATAN. STAY AWAY! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!
As a former employee, I have worked for spectrum for 5 years. I can firmly say this company has no respect or value towards their PSW's and Nurses. The management and staff look down on PSW's and nurses. The pay rate is not what you expect. When there is not enough hours you are stuck and out of work which happened quite frequently.
When asked for vacation you need to give 6 months notice good luck getting Christmas holidays and New Years off! You are expected to work every holidays and weekends. The management is terrible, very demanding, and they do not encourage their employees at all! I once went a manger (Karleen) and addressed my concern to get request time off she replied," I don't give a rats $#*!". I mean come on. They are very inconsiderate. I Had said I am taking courses for nursing she had replied, " you are not the only one taking nursing courses---others are and they are managing". The point is after 5 years I have come recognition spectrum management is absolutely terrible and have no consideration towards people.
During Christmas, spectrum holds a separate party for PSW's and nurses. Meanwhile the staff of spectrum has their own private lavish party when the PSW's and Nurses attend to lousy Sheraton Hotel. One of the coordinators approached me and said, Oh how come the PSW's and Nurses have different Christmas parties? I was so shocked and felt so devalued. Its sad because the PSW's and Nurses are the backbone of the company and bring in the hard work.
Also when you start to work, you will be expected to work with all the difficult clients, heavy clients, bed ridden especially. Etc. Do expect to experience back pain, severe hand pain and hand cramping, wrist pain, mental stress, and feeling of being unappreciative.
I hope this message will open peoples eyes and save them from the trouble of having to experience what I had. There are so many better companies out there with great pay etc, just look!
Spectrum is a mockery to healthcare.
Canceled and went back to tds. Terrible install, customer service and was a pain to cancel. The worst company I have dealt with hands down.
Mislead on plan. Dropped calls. Rude and unknowledgeanle reps. Log wait times for someone to answer then I had to be transferred to another dept
I finally received all my money back. I got a hold of the escalation dept made it right. But I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I have called Spectrum 3 to 4 times a week since Jan. They were a no show on appointments 4 times, 4 times my 90-year-old Mother sat waiting all day for them. Each time I received a different excuse! Now they say they don't service my Mother's area. So I was told I could get my full refund for 2 phones. Still 2 weeks later, still waiting for the return labels and a full refund! I need to send them a bill for wasting my time and mother's time.

They keep increasing your monthly bill and when you call the customer service support, they just kick you out of thier business
There is not one good thing i can say about spectrum. Price hike for customers that have had it for 10 years. Good rate for new customer..
It's aweful a bill paid then check this out a credit then billed again... must call to get any resolution zero online help from an online service.
Spectrum goes out like 50 times a day. We have the fastest plan and the wifi is still so slow. How do y'all have and outage everyday?
The quality of internet was good. My bull was raised from $60 to $90 as of 9/1/21. This is for basic internet with no changes to the account
They are liars get everything in writing. I hate there tv service Internet is ok but they are not upfront with pricing.
I have to restart the modem daily, slow service, it is very frustrating, I regret using Spectrum.

First of all, I was a happy customer when living in Porter Ranch. Internet wasn't fast, but TV was good. I moved to Sherman Oaks which they botched. Ok, no choice here for Internet. Spectrum or 3 mbs max. So, I stay with them for 8 months with terrible cable TV service. The picture pixilation (Picture breaking up) made it almost impossible to finish a movie. Nothing worse than half way through a flic & BOOM the pic & audio breaks up continuously. They were out here 6 times. Replaced the cable from the pole, replaced all splitters, gave me a signal booster. NOTHING worked. I was also getting error messages out of the blue, that made no sense. They said these are "known Issues" that have been turned over to their engineers. After 8 months I got Sat TV (works great) keeping Internet & Mobile both of which work fine. The kicker in the entire bad situation is THEY REFUSE TO PRORATE MY BILL! I cancelled my TV on 10/7, they want payment until Oct 29th. Why? Because "we don't prorate." I said does that seem fair that I pay for something that I'm not using? "Well we could turn it back on..." RUDE CS supervisor to even suggest such a thing. Should I get 8 months payments back because it didn't work? Not asking for it. Charter/Spectrum are money grubbing leeches that are losing share every month & for good reason. DON"T USE THEM IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
