This dude came to my house on a Sunday and extremely hot Sunday in Texas and stayed for 3 hours going up and down the pole trying to figure out what is wrong with my internet I had absolutely no water no Gatorade and this man is profusely sweating in my barely air conditioned double wide trailer. He was kind to answer all my questions. Extremely professional. If he was irritated I could not tell. Some people deserve a raise. Because their character and ethics are demonstrated on the job site by regular people. Who appreciate paying for good service and getting excellent return. I wish I could get this dude at every service call when I move and all the time I'm in for lotus Texas or wherever I move to companies should clone this dude.

I have mistakenly used this company 3 tines in the past. Never again. Horrible equipment! Just antiquated! Each tv requires its own dvr?! Remote is terrible. Recording a show is completely frustrating. Worst of all there is no end to the charges they apply to your account. I was told endless times-AFTER I RETURNED ALL OF MY EQUIPMENT! -that my account was closed. The charges kept rolling in! I spoke with numerous company reps that told me "you shouldn't have been charged" "we will credit you" "your account is closed". Still more charges. And then I realized "oh yeah, they did this last time!" Please do not use this cable company! I cannot un-recommend them enough.

Nonstop wifi outages

Their wifi is beyond horrible, it blows my mind how they're even still in business, don't bother trying to talk to customer service. It's obvious they employe anyone with a pulse, they're all rude obnoxious I hate my life types who never help you or give you answers.

Remembered why I got away from spectrum. Called in 3 days after getting a 199.99 bill for tv/internet. Asked to remove HBO/MAX/Silver. Yes, we can do that. Thinking I would get at least till the end of the bill period since I already paid for it. Nope. Got to love paying for something and not getting what you pay for.

Spectrum has to be the most inconvenient company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Canceling your service takes forever over the phone, because the service personnel have to "cut you a new deal". Which should be what you already have anyway or it should have been what they sent you in the mail to begin with. Then to turn on the equipment, I had to go to 2 different locations because the CSR on the phone did not know which location would take my return. The old (usual) location to turn your equipment in does not offer that service anymore & the one@ the mall had a 45 min wait just to talk to a CSR. A CSR there informed me that the UPS store would probably be faster (which the phone CSR did not tell me about). And they wonder why people are cutting the cord. If they would just have a standard cost for everyone & stop all the insane hassles when you deal with them, the monopoly business in the cities and regions would do so much better.

Horrible Service

Have been a Sprectrum customer for 2+ years. There are constant internet service issues. Pay for the best and get nothing. No credits issued, no apologies, and dealing with their customer service folks is absolutely infuriating. If you can avoid this company, do so at all costs!

Firing a employee for medical and then denying them there unemployment benefits. The supervisors show a great a deal nepotism. And obviously don't care about how a man can support his family. I wont recommend them and I will never purchase any items with them. They will continue to loose customer should they continue forwarded with these types of retaliation. Word of mouth and face book share alot of similar stories. They will be the next kodak on this path destruction. I would have have given them a zero on the review. However, you cant move forward.

This company is the biggest joke out there. You have a better chance at beach front property in Yuma Arizona than reliable cable through this company, and if you take the chance on this cable expect insane charges after the initial start up bargain and unreliable service.

I have waiting all day for a technician. No one called or showed up. Called several times was told several different things. Last one dispatcher named Freda told me she didn't know when they would get to me. Could bec10 days or longer. If I could give them a 0, I would. They are the only provider in this new sub division. In the meantime, they have already taken my money for an install. If you have any other provider in your area please use them stay clear of spectrum.

It's five days that my home internet service got suddenly disconnected (since Friday 7/29). After diagnostics and figuring they have no signal coming to their modem, the customer service gave me an appointment for 8/3 afternoon and promised to escalate it to the dispatch team so that it gets expedited. Guess what? Have been calling customer service numerous times to escalate it all day Saturday. Finally, got a call from dispatch on Saturday 7:55pm that they don't have any earlier appointments and if they do, they will let me know. Guess what? Never called back and it's Wednesday 8/3. Original appointment time is passed and no one has showed up. BTW, on Monday I got a text saying my service was restored! And I can cancel my appointment. Not true. Also, they charge you for all the days your service is disconnected. The burden is on you to call their billing department and convince them to do the right thing. Plain and simple, I feel this company lies to their customers and have no sense of responsibility. Recommend to avoid at all costs.

I got 4 line services to my kids with spectrum and I asked the spectrum agant to get one gb for each line to stop my kids to access to internet all the time after 2months I got a bill 443.00 extra bill they said they charge me by the gb they got each line 15gb this fraud service never ask for 1 gb they are going to charge more than unlimited price. They trick me they are so bad service even in my I dont have service.

I had an install appointment set for July 31 my move in date between 7p.m. And 8p.m. The tech called me around 5 I missed the call and called right back he stated that spectrum sent him on a different side of town and someone else would get me. Then about a hour after that he called again and said spectrum scheduled to many appointments so no one can come to me but him and he don't work at night time. He said he will not work at night time and that I need to call and reschedule my appointment and don't mind what day they give me he will just automatically come out to me the following day just call the number he was calling from. So I called and rescheduled like he asked and then called him back the phone went straight to voicemail. I called the same number the following morning still was going to voicemail. So I called spectrum and spoke with a supervisor and told him all this and he said it was unacceptable and that he would put an expedite on my ticket and someone will come out today. So dispatch call and stated they received my ticket and someone will get out to me… I called 3 times this day 3… and every time they had dispatch to call me and say someone coming. Then around 7:30 p.m. dispatch called and said no one is coming I just have to keep the appointment as scheduled which is on August 4th. When none of this is my fault. You scheduled a tech that told me he don't work at night I need to reschedule. Then you tell me the next day at 10am you putting an expedite ticket in for me that someone will be there, Then you call me back at 7:30 at night just to tell me no one is coming and I will have to keep my appointment that got rescheduled on August 4th, Now what if on Aug 4th I go through this same $#*! of you all over scheduling or a tech telling me when is a good time for him to want to do some work? Go straight to hell spectrum. They didn't offer me $#*! for the inconvenience but an expedited ticket that they couldn't even accommodate me on. I don't even give y'all 1 star it's making me put it.

I called spectrum to set up new home internet and cell phone service. I explained I wanted to add an Apple Watch for my daughter using the family sharing feature, and she set up the account with my daughters name set up the billing, scheduled an install, and charged me a deposit/install fee. When I received the SIM cards and watch it was challenging to set them up, and when I would call spectrum, their automated system would repeatedly hang up on me. I finally managed to limp through the process in my own and the Watch wouldn't work. I got an error stating that carrier did not support requested function. I looked it up and sure enough, the saleswoman was wrong or flat out lied to me. So I called to confirm this finding and was repeatedly hung up on by the automated system again. When I finally reached an agent and confirmed what I'd found, I explained I wanted to cancel, and he told me there was a restocking fee for the Watch. I explained I wanted this waived, he refused. We went back and forth and he spoke with a supervisor and they waived 20$ of the 50$.

Spectrum misrepresented the capability of their service and is now asking that I pay for their mistake. The customer service to try and come to a resolution has amounted to 3-4 hours on the phone being repeatedly hung up on. Worst customer service I have ever experienced, with a little deception thrown in for good measure.

This company is the worst. This is definitely one that deserves negative stars. Unfortunately they monopolize a lot of areas and folks in these areas are stuck with this horrible company. Overpriced, terrible customer service, and a sub par product. I'd recommend staying away if possible.

Spectrum internet is slow but they charge high prices which is deceiving. Sales people at the store tell you one thing about pricing but turns out more when you are billed. Change to a different plan but was not told you have to complete billing cycle first so ended paying two bills as they would not pro rate any refund.
Did not have any problems until Spectrum took over from Time Warner. Also customer service agents are not helpful and rude.

Got new service, they forgot to bring my business phone number over, lost 2 weeks of customers not Being able to call us, internet didn't work, they sent out 7 tech out threw a 2 week period trying to fix phone and internet, finally had enough and canceled service, talked to customer service over 20 times, promised a full refund, still receiving bills for installation of 99 dollars, I'm a very fair person, I would pay if I was at fault, but nothing went right from day 1, nothing but a huge headache, anybody reading this review please look elsewhere, this is the worse company I have seen by far,

We used Spectrum for years for cable, internet & phone. It was fine. When there were problems, service was OK. Any time we had to return or exchange equipment, we had to take it down to the office and wait forever. When we finally stopped using them, a couple of years ago, we returned ALL of our equipment. Today I got a call from a debt collector saying we owed Spectrum for unreturned equipment. Unless I can find the return receipts from a couple of years ago, I have to pay it. I have often heard how shady Spectrum is... and now I have experienced it myself. I will NEVER use Spectrum again for anything.
