After trying to resolve a billing issue, I asked the supervisor to submit a claim for damages to our home. He (Adrian) said he would not submit a claim. A claim does not imply that Spectrum would accept responsibility, only that a claim would be evaluated. Poor service and I have found another Internet service that is more than twice as fast, and streaming TV service that is les than half the cost of Spectrum. Spectrum has not accepted the fact that retention of customers is a critical business goal.

This company has extremely poor customer service especially when you are disconnecting your service with them. They would send you a statement for unreturned equipment even thought I drooped them off in person, so please keep your receipts after you returned the equipment.
They charge you a full month of service fees even though you only used their service for one day and that was never told when we call them that we want to disconnect the service, so please check the date if you like to disconnect their services.
We recently sold our home and I turned my equipment into a Spectrum office on 7/12/22 and was told I owed nothing. As it turns out, my billing cycle started on 7/6/22 and although I had been on automatic payments, nothing was taken out for the month they now say I owe, nor was a bill sent to me. They have informed me that I must pay for the entire month (7/6 - 8/5) as they don't prorate billings. This is a ridiculous policy (who pays for services they don't receive?); I will not pay and will dispute any negative reports on my credit reports. BEWARE. If you can switch to another provider, you should. If not, be aware you will be expected to pay for an entire month even if you don't use it. They will never get a penny from me. They should at least tell people when they sign up... no contracts my foot.

August 18,2022 Enter Spectrum Store Monroe MI in search of new phones. Ten minutes later I had a suitable old man phone and my wife had selected a spiffy Motorola that did everything that needed to be done. THE VERIZION STORE WAS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! We got the secret transfer number from Verizion, so we were off and running! I needed to wait for my phone, but we just transfer my wife's data to her new phone and we're off and running. Naaaaa, hang on, can't seem to, Oh NO! Her old phone seems to still be working on Verizion's network. The new one is sitting still DEAF and DUMB. Kind of like the sales people in the store. "Take it home and in 24 to 48 hours we will take over" OK. So we did, but four days later NO SERVICE. We tried repeatedly to call the store. There is a reason you are not able to do that. Let me see said the phone based people- we are not sure those phone based people are people- we had better call back. Two days later, we went back to the store, "There is a ticket on your phone" What does that mean? Speeding? Parking? Nope, it seems to be lost. When will it be found? When level four is finished. Finished with what? Who is level four? "Oh we can not talk to them, we don't know where they are" This is the perfect scam don't you know.
No accountability and no hope. We are stuck with 1/2 of an old man phone and no hope. "If I ever get outa here, I'm goin to Catmandu.
Watch out for their sneaky practices if you get mobile services and residential internet. The accounts are not linked and depending on which spectrum login you do first your other bill won't get shown. This later becomes your fault not theirs.
They have horrible customer service, they're not understanding when they drip the ball & customers still get the very short end of the stick, sadly they're the only service provider in my area that doesn't buff, if it wasn't for that…. I would not have them, on top of the over price!
I manage rental properties and needed to contact spectrum to see if they provide service for a specific address to let my new tenants know who to contact for cable and internet services. The automated system that answers the call is not helpful. So I had to speak with someone and they ended up being in the sales department. Once he realized that I only need information to see if they serviced the address he was very short with me and basically hung up on me without being helpful at all. If Spectrum as a company isn't going to have representatives to answer simple questions than maybe you should train your sales people to be friendlier to customers.
Spectrum is trash. The service is horrible. It's always an issue. They are stealing from customers. They change the rate without notifying the customers. No wonder they have such low ratings. Don't ever choose spectrum!
I'm not a Spectrum customer. Spectrum cut my internet line while working on my neighbor's internet. I spent the day arguing with my ISP to have a technician fix my internet. I work from home and lost a days wages. My son is autistic and we were not able to receive services that day. Spectrum refuses to reimburse me for any of this.
Their basic internet constantly is intermittent and they decline to do anything about it. They are the very worst that has ever been created. Use rabbit ears instead.

Every time I call these people it is nothing but a run around this place is the biggest joke you sit on the phone for hours they tell you to go to town to pick up a cable box when you're 35 miles away when they don't even have it in stock I have never met a company that is more unorganized and unprofessional in my life I would not recommend them to anybody

Service is always going out for some reason or another. Customers should get a percentage off their bill once they have to go half the day, or a certain number of hours without the service they pay for.
As the title states I was charged 20.00 for a question about the service I am already paying for. Very shady do not switch to spectrum and save yourself money and headaches.

Spectrum cable is constantly jacking up the price. Recently they upgraded the box, remote ect. Total bust. Box doesn't display time. The guide format is terrible. The other way was just fine. They made it worse. Someone there wanted to justify their salary and stick out their chest. I can't believe how bad it got.
I've been with Spectrum for 2 years and it has been a horrible experience. At first, the equipment they sent me didn't work. It took days to get it serviced, and they couldn't even fix it when they were there. I just moved to a new address and was told not once but twice that I would not incur any additional fees. Every time I checked my bill online, the amount was the same. I called for a 3rd time to ask about this fee getting removed and finance just said "I'm not sure why they'd tell you that." They did, and frankly it is your responsibility to have your employees on the same page with your services. If I had been told twice I would not incur a fee, then it should be removed. Yet again, this service is horrible. If you have the opportunity to use another provider, please use them.
This is the ABSOLUTE WORST company for internet I have EVER dealt with. I initiated service three weeks ago, it took them two weeks to get me a router, and for the past week of having a router, I've had to reboot it 7-10 times a day. Service keeps going out. I've spent a total of 26 hours on the phone since I first made contact with them calling to try to fix these problems and have found that each dispatcher and employee has CREATED NEW PROBLEMS FOR ME, that then, I have to "go up the chain of command" to solve--only to find out that supervisors REFUSE TO CALL YOU TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT OR ACTUALLY FIX YOUR PROBLEM. They gave me an appointment to have someone come check out my router for Tuesday and then without my consent changed the appointment to a day earlier, when I specifically said I wasn't available. I've spent four hours on the phone trying to fix that problem alone, and everyone is lacking in accountability. Now, "their best" is giving me a Thursday appointment, which is two days after it was originally given. Meanwhile, I don't have internet. And no one is accountable. There is no way to get through to a supervisor or management. You just deal with endless amounts of entry level bot-like people who don't know what they're doing and aren't trained with correct information. This company is EVIL. THEY ARE LITERALLY SATAN. STAY AWAY! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!
