Horrible service

I am not happy at all with this cable. I have already called a dozen times and we just got this put in. We have not been able to watch tv for two days. I have been calling to change my program and I want the Select program. I am very disappointed, if I do not hear from you guys very soon I am going to drop you.

Stay away from this company

This company is the worst
I called them to ask them to move the TV from one part of the bedroom to another part
I am currently using a walker and it is hard for me to get around
I need to have the whole bedroom change
I am told they cannot ship me the cable wire they would need to send a man out and that will cost me $100 to do so
I explained to them that I do not have $100 to cover I have over $100,000 in medical bills
They will not help me out and this is discrimination against disabled people
The company is horrible stay away from them and they are a rip off with their prices.
I will be reporting them to the BBB.

I turned in a Spectrum Box about a year ago because we reduced to 1 tv.

Because their employee did not record the return properly (or not at all) they have no record of me returning the Box. They have harassed me for $60 month after month.

I filed a dispute case which they would not accept and continued to Badger me for the $60. Because this is their word against mine and they will report me to the credit bureau as unpaid debt I paid the $60. I am posting this to let people know my experience with their inadequate service. I will not use them again. And I pray that God blesses their company the same way they are blessing their customers.

Worst ever

I live in a part of Florida where I am forced to use Spectrum for internet and TV, if I want internet. They are the worst internet service and TV provider I have ever used. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and rates right up there with their poor internet.
So if you have a choice, avoid Specteum. If you don't have a choice, re-consider your location.

Lied too

While talking to the sales lady about the iCloud spectrum offers, she explained to both myself and my wife that we would be able to record on any spectrum device and watch it on another device. That is why we ordered the iCloud service. When the technician came out to install everything, he found out that is not true. The technician told us that we would have to buy another device, like a Roku or something else, to be able to record on one device and the other tv has to have the Roku $#*! well to watch it. The sales lady pretty much lied to both my wife and myself to get the sale when I called to get the he icloud service off my account I also filed a complaint but was told that I would not be receiving a call back from anyone. Your company already showing poor customer service before starting your service

They all said something different each person kept saying o I can do this o wait I can do this I got to the point where I had a free phone and my service was 29.99 dollars and I didn't sign anything and I hung up and one hour later I was charge for 189.00 dollars I was pissed and five days later a phone showed up and I was charged more I never been so mad and all I wanted was to keep my wifi and my wife and my plane that's it's.

Service Outage

So, I'm on my 4th day of 2-3 hours of outages in my area. I just called customer service to see if they could credit me for those days that I didn't have internet or cable and the representative said that service would have to be out a minimum of 4 hours before they can apply any sort of credit. He was nice and said that I can chose any other provider since I'm not under contract. Really disappointed with it all and will never use them again.

Run away as fast as you can. I was a 20 year cusomer before leaving spectrum due to terrible support. At an average of $120+ a moth over the years I spent $30,000+ dollars with their company and what do I get when I leave? Constant calls from Spectrum claiming I didnt turn my equipment in. In each of those calls I asked multiple times to have a supervisor reach out to me to discuss, each time I was told they would contact me only to have no supervisor and yet another random person from their collections department reach out. I returned the equipment to their Austin location and they did not check in, and they are not taking responsibility for it. At the end of the day after all the people they had call me and all the times they refused to let me speak with a supervisor... The grand total they sent to collections was $162 - are you kidding me? So much for looking out for your customers. My advice, cut the cord and make sure you go with acompany who cares about customer satisfaction and isnt tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. This type of service and response is why I left in the first place, so I guess I shouldnt have expected anything more.

Price hikes up

Okay I decided to get spectrum in January and in July I noticed my bill was more than usual instead of $14.00 it's $19. Each month so I contacted them to ask why and was told your making payments on the phone that's why I said no on a recorded line I was not supposed to be I was told it was a free phone and a promotion for my area and I explained to the representative then I didn't need a phone because I had a family plan she said it's a free phone you just pay $14 each month so I said ok then they set me up for auto payments. It's September and I see bills of $55.00 coming to my phone and I spoke to a representative in leads Charley who was no help at all. One representative gave me $25 credit it July but that was basically nothing. I was charged another $55 then... Now I decided to cancel the phone plan and I'm being told is sorry well sorry will not help my pockets spectrum... Now I'm stuck with $79.00 left to pay on a useless phone I have... Do not get scammed by spectrum with their hidden fees people because I had their service for over 5 years and I was hit with surprised fee's.

Not loyal to your customers

Today September 10th 2022. I called to cancel my service of TV and just keeping the internet due to my bill keeps going extremely high. I paid $2,400 in advance for the year so I don't have to worry about this bill. Just to find out they increased my bill without even notifying me. But claiming they did notify me which they didn't. Long story short I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Spectrum trying to get my money back that they owe me I spoke to five different people before they finally sent me to a supervisor management team. I'm supposed to get back $971.21 the supervisor tells me he can only give me back $771.55 because the rest of the money already went towards the bill. But they already cut my service off so now they get free money instead of giving me my money back for the month of October. To make it even worse instead of them giving me back my money on my credit card that I use they're telling me they're going to send me a prepaid card. I explained to the supervisor I cannot pay my bills with their prepaid card but if you put the money back on my credit card I can pay my bills. He went on to explain to me that their policy is to give money back on a prepaid card. So I explained to him do you think it's fair that you guys get to decide how we get our money back but we don't get to decide how we give you the money. After an hour and some change of going back and forth with this you know what you keep that month bill money I really hope it does you your family and your company will. Spectrum is a sorry company very selfish and no kind of consideration for their customers. I hope everybody reads this and cancel their services with you. Times are hard right now and all them this company and other companies get think about as how can we rob the struggling. Good job Spectrum keep up the good work... if I could have gave you guys a negative 100 Stars I would have done so..

My family has been a customer of this company / time warner, etc, for over 20 years. During this time their deals are generally much worse than other competitors. Twice their phone agent's literally lied about the service we were to be getting when signing us up for new packages and deals. They do not pro-rate your bill like xfinity does, so when trying to save money by downgrading, they will immediately downgrade your service but still charge you a high rate. Avoid this place if you can.

The monopoly of Time/ Warner dba Spectrum needs to be broken up. In some neighborhoods the only internet service available is Spectrum. They do not respect their customer base. They are condesending when you call for assistance. Billing somehow changes your bill mysteriously and when you try to correct it they tell you that you have to call back tomorrow because the "system" will not let them make the change for 24 hours. If private businesses followed their business model they would be out of business within a year.

Asked representative if there are any promotional programs. Was told to sign up for $99,3 year maintenance program. Did not understand exactly the point of the pitch! Bypassed all my questions and kept repeating the pitch! Nothing resolved. Can't wait till GOOGLE becomes available in our area.

El internet en el área donde vivo(EastLA) está dominado por spectrum. Muchas veces he tenido problemas y es muy difícil que manden un técnico. Estoy desde el día jueves 9:30 Am pidiendo un técnico y ya me avisaron que vendrá el lunes ‍. En serio ellos podrian estar un solo día sin internet? Mi negocio depende del internet y ahora tendré que esperar 4 días para ser atendido.Es decepcionante porque sin internet mis clientes se tienen que retirar. ‍
