Jaleesa responded less than 30 mins, helped me with everything to get a tech over to my mom's house as her phone wasn't working. She lives in another state than me so explaining the situation to Jaleesa I was sure I was gonna get "you need to be on the account" but she helped me with everything. Been with Time Warner for years…signed petition that TW should not merge with Comcast…monopoly crooks merged anyway! Have basic cable TV, landline…canceled rotten internet 6 years ago. Now paying 173.00 a month from 123.00 2 years ago…bill creeps up every month! Landline died last year, I have a cell phone with Tmobile. Yeah great company. I am letting Spectrum shut off my services…take me to court I dont care! When my monthly bill of crappy service is equal to my yearly property taxes I say "See ya Spectrum". I get better streaming on my ipad…please stay away from greedy Specrptrum…Also…when commercials are longer than programs then something is rotten!
Horrible service since the very beginning. We've had them for almost 3 years now. We've been charged for 5 lines when we have 2. Charged for 4 phones somehow when we have 2. Insurance has been randomly removed from our phones multiple times. They tell us that we are calling and canceling it. We obviously aren't. We've paid for phones and had them unlocked then they get locked again. When we moved out of state we canceled cable, returned the box and continued to be charged for months for a cable service. The same thing happened with our internet too.
An Amish guy on horse and buggie would transport information faster than their wifi. Your phone and computer will operate slower than if you were using black market porn sites. You can stand right next to your router and still have dog$#*! service. If wifi could have down syndrome it would be on the "spectrum"

For a year and a half, I have had Spectrum cable and every time I called in, they tell me they know there is a problem with the apple cable service it is in the programing so today I was recording the NASCAR race and in the middle of it I had to leave when i got home the recording was gone. I thought I was one of a few people having trouble then I got on here and WOW what a problem they have please people save your money and find a different cable company. I think we need to all get together and ask for our money back, this is nothing but a rip off and they just keep raising the rate! That is why I give them a ZERO for a rating, but they make you give them at least a one.
I recently had to put my cell phone to rest so I went to Spectrum in Onalaska Wi to get a new phone. I have had Spectrum cell service, cable & internet for a long time. Thomas at Spectrum was AWESOME. Sold me a new phone which I TOTALLY LOVE and was so nice to work with. Being in my mid 60's I don't get a lot of new tech but Thomas did all the work transferring everything over into my new phone & explained so much to me that I would have not known. I am so glad that I had this very smart young man to make this transition so easy. Believe me I could tell you horror stories of past cell phone exchanges. THANK YOU THOMAS
I have been on the phone with 7 people with no results. I have been promised that the next layer of it will work on why spectrum can't get our phone numbers ported. I was to get a phone call tonight. Never received any call or update on our worthless service ticket. There are no solutions or anyone who wants to save this account. Just cancelled it all. I am done!
I've been with Spectrum for many years and everytime I had an issue not pertaining to billing customer service was great. Recently I've been experiencing hardship and Spectrum was quick to suspend my wifi service. Upon calling them to see if an arrangement could be made, a representative in the Retention Dept. assured me that my service would be restored until next month. This morning I noticed that my service was slow. I called them again and they told me that the representative in Retention Dept. who I spoke with yesterday, was not supposed to restore my service and that he did not add any notes on to my account regarding the agreement that was made, therefore my account will remain suspended. The representatives I spoke with this morning were rude and spoke to me in a very condescending manner, making feel like the lowest of the low. I will differently search for another, more affordable, internet provider and I never want to hear from Spectrum again.
Spectrum is a terrible company. Because of the lack of support at our residence (with a business account!) we decided to move to fiber. Calling to cancel is a problem. It takes forever and most of the times the line goes dead after waiting for a long time. After I finally got someone to cancel I went to return the modem to their location. Found that the main location closed... then checked online. Had to go to another location. After arriving was told to check in on one of the devices that have at the entrance. None was working, other clients tried to log in... the workers didn't even know the devices weren't working. I asked what to do to return the modem... only reply was that I needed to login. I got upset and suddenly was told that modem returns are at UPS. So now I had to go to UPS! Imagine if they tell us that we need to return the modems in Raleigh? I went to UPS and had to wait due to lots of people ahead of me and lots of people returning modems. Was told that they were receiving hundreds of returns, more than ever. Not surprised. Because of all the issues to cancel the service by phone I got delayed 4 days (because of them) because it takes never less than 1 hour to have anyone do something. They still decided to bill us for next month and said there is nothing I can do about it. They bill from the 12th of each month... looks like they do on purpose to lock people. They have a very well laid out game. So people, be careful, it isn't TimeWarner! It is Spectrum and not a good company anymore. They will find a way to use the subscription to take more of your money. Here is not the extra month that hurts me but will hurt some people. So my recommendation is to stay away from Spectrum. They don't care about you. And I have to live with the guilt of having moved so many clients to Spectrum... Now, starting to move them all away from Spectrum.
I have been with this company since they came to our area, over 10 years ago. Our bill double to almost $300.00. Called to see if they had any deals and was told they don't do that anymore. Tried to get the bill lowered and was told i have the best plan it will never expire. Tried to explain i was a senior trying to get my bills lowered, the spectrum told me to get roku. One star is generous but unfortunately it is the lowest I can give. I switched from satellite to Spectrum TV about 8 months ago primarily because I was told there are no contracts and you can cancel anytime. Well yes, you can cancel services any time but they are going to continue billing you for another month. I just called and cancelled services and was told that I would be billed thru 11/10 anyways, 28 days of billing for services that I do not have. That is not the definition of no contract and cancel anytime. Also, during that conversation I discovered that they have been billing me for equipment that I never had. I will never do business with this company again.
I spoke to a representative of Spectrum on Sept/Oct 21. She talked me into Buying an Apple TV Streaming Device to save on the receiver bill because I could return the receiver and pay the same fee for the apple device of 8.99 and own it after 20 months. Sounds good to me. I find out today that they never took the receiver off of my bill. My Fault is never looking. The Supervisor Sissy, feeling her authority, states she was sorry but they can not refund me for something that happened that far back and that she would give me a 60-day refund... they made almost 100.00 free money and even saw where I did not have a receiver. THis is not the first episode, THIEVES! GREEDY! LIARS!
Spectrum have representative that work for them that don't know what they are doing. Thanks to one of the reps I am nowhaving to jump through an act of congress to get my money back from double paying a bill when the representative told me she didn't see my first payment that I made. Spectrum can immediately debt your account but it takes them 8 days to issue your refund.
