It's too much money!

I have had outages weekly...just out of the blue. I work from home so that is not good. Calls just drop. They don't compensate for mess like that. Tell me why I pay so much for TV and half the channels are repeated because they are HD and the others are channels I never watch and music channels. It's a racket. $200 for TV. I rather get HULU live with a cheaper wifi that works in my area.

DO NOT GET SPECTRUM MOBILE EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU YOU GET A FREE TABLET WHICH ISNT FREE!
They are very misleading on their information and will charge you even after saying it is free for a year!

Not worth the hassle

Where do I start...
1. Upload speed is not what they claim.
2. Spectrum cable is subpar to say the least, especially their movie selections and how bad they edit said movies. For the money they charge I should not have to deal with commercials interrupting my movies nor having to deal with the editing of the language content bc it's a movie.
3. The cable boxes they use are refurbished and don't work half the time. In four months I have had my cable box replaced 6 times bc they were freezing up and yet they kept on using refurbished boxes. Their techs even acknowledged the fact that the boxes are refurbished.
4. They charge so much and claim its bc of the 200+ channels but they don't actually tell anyone that it's the same channels duplicated.
5. If I had a choice I definitely would switch in a heart beat but I'm stuck with them till I move to a different apartment complex.
6. I would not recommend them if you have a choice.

Spectrum is a racket

Spectrum is running a racket. When you sign up they promise there is no disconnection fee, but when you quit, even if you only go one day into the next billing cycle (like I did) they don't prorate their service and charge you for the whole month. After one day of service they left me a bill for $260. These guys are shameless criminals.
And the reason I left is because Spectrum is ridiculously expensive and don't even have the fastest Internet. I save over $100 a month when I switched from Spectrum to Frontier and got much faster Internet.

Basically you are paying 100 per month and receive no wifi connection, also suddenly disconnects you under whatever occasions. The customer contact is another joke and i wonder why this company still exists at this point. The whole spectrum is a $#*! and should go suck $#*!

I have tried for 4 months calling Spectrum's representatives and supervisors to somehow get these constant automated payment reminder calls to STOP! I know I;m late on my payment and have to wait until the first of the month when I get paid to pay the bill. Meanwhile my cell phone rings constantly ALL day long with these annoying, disruptive messages even during hours I have to sleep before work waking me up! NO OTHER utility companies or others with monthly bills due Ever use this obnoxious and pure harassment method on a pass do bill! I have tried seven times now to get them to take my number off and STOP Harassing me! I was told it would take 30 days for it to stop and after trying for months, it NEVER does! I'm not going to give up and will do what ever it takes to get this from calling my phone ALL DAY LONG! If I don;t pay my bill by the shut off date then just shut it off! I always pay it as again I have to wait until the first when I get paid! So SOMEONE PLEASE quit Harassing me and I'm sure your other clients!

A complete joke of an installation. We have had a surveyor, an installer, a construction guy, and an installer all day is not their fault we can't get internet yet. It's always someone else's fault they can't install. They have the most God awful communication between departments. They know we have never had any internet options until now and they know they can keep kicking us around and wasting our time. We can't even rate the internet because they say it will take another surveyor, and construction guy before they can even schedule install again. What a complete joke and they could care less, no putting a rush on it, no we will make this right for you. Nothing just call customer care again.

I live in a Spectrum Community which means we are not permitted to have any other cable or internet service and the service is paid with our rent. No less than 5 times a month we have no internet due to some kind of outage. Being forced to use and pay for an unreliable service with constant outages is ridiculous! Do better Spectrum! Today is Christmas Eve, coldest day since 1983 and guess what NO SERVICE!

I was a Spectrum customer for over 7 years. I paid my bills on time never late. When I moved to my new home Spectrum didn't have service in my area. So I canceled service at my old address paid my bill and returned there equipment at a UPS store. Then the harassment started.They Spectrum called me and I had an outstanding balance and I had there equipment. I told them I paid the balance and gave them the tracking number and they said okay the account would good. Then week after week they would call again. Cut our internet line!

Spectrum out here digging today. They cut our internet line - we are currently with windstream who is horrible! They can't come out until Thursday to repair (today is mon dec 19,2022). My husband and i both work from home so we are down for 3 days! Unacceptable, spectrum! You need to contract workers WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

Dont care about customers

I signed up on one of the promotions. The service was average for the most part. But at the end of the promotion they told me what the new monthly bill was going to be. So I called and ask if they had any other promotions I could be qualified for. I was sent to the retention department. Told they couldn't help me. Then I asked what the retention department actually do? No answer. I took the the equipment back ONE day after the billing cycle. Thinking they would pro rate my service. They charged me $184. I will never use any services from Spectrum. They dont care about customers.

Spectrum- Billing concern
December 15, 2022

There is an open CIA case 49RNX2JC regarding fraud on all of my financial accounts. I need a service manager to review my account for splitting or shared services without my authorization. I have also escalated this concern to FBI and Interpol due to me being a foreign diplomat besides an American. If you audit you can see that I haven't even used any cable and only web viewing when I have the ability to watch. There has been concern that DOLBY an unauthorized user has accessed my account and might be tied to Chris Schwab and or his Air Force friends that is part of the investigation. Please advise of any other party signing into my spectrum account without my permission. Interpol (International police) are conducting their own investigation as well. I need my cable restored at once. Please advise.
