I was excited to think that I could use Spectrum as my provider for my cell phone I've gone to the Spectrum office on many occasions and I never get full satisfaction I've had to go back at least 2 to 3 times on most occasions. Just last week I called the office and spoke to someone named Alvin and I asked him about helping me with my account, while he messed up everything that he could and after he did he put me on hold and never came back. My bill was paid and Alvin had my service disconnected. I had to get dressed and sit in the store to speak to someone to restore my service. I use my cell for all my business. I got someone else I must've been on the phone with him an hour and got nothing done. Then I had to go into the store and Wait to be served. I spoke to a guy named Rex he help me and he got my phone service back on I don't know why I would ever disconnected in the first place. My bill was paid. Spectrum has the worse customer service ever he's one of the worst companies ever cell phone service. Wish I could rate less than 1.

Spectrum got me on price savings... couldn't resist the mobile offer so I cancelled Verizon and certainly did save on my mobile bills (although the Cable bill went up!). But here is the catch... getting to customer service is very slow and wastes so much time. I think their mobile services have been oversold and they can't seem to get it right. Cable service is better and there is a huge difference in the technical expertise and abilities between these two departments.

Activation on Apple devices is awful and very frustrating. Trying to pair an apple 5 watch to Spectrum took six weeks --- yes - 6 weeks for Spectrum to figure it out! They couldn't do it and finally the case went up the chain to the highest level and after weeks - and 6 hours on the phone, they got the watch paired. Then one day. Cellular service just dropped. The Apple 7 watch I had paired better BUT on reactivation after a repair on the watch has again become almost as frustrating as the Series 5 watch.

Activation to Apple devices: When I got the Apple 14 Pro at the Apple store it took 40 minutes and two 20 min wait calls for Spectrum to connect to an agent. Then it took time to get the phone connected. The total process took over an hour. The Apple store stayed open an extra 30 minutes for me to finish the activation. Apple doesn't have a Spectrum connection on their phones so you MUST call Spectrum mobile (They do represent other carriers but not Spectrum). The people at Spectrum are nice but something isn't good with the relationship between Apple and Spectrum.

Here are other problems... I can connect my cable account with a password but it doesn't work on phone for reactivating my Apple 7 watch. I have no idea what to do and so... once again, I called Spectrum. You would think at 1:35 am they would tell you their were closed but instead they say... wait 45 minutes and say an agent will be right with me. I have tried activation on the watch 3 times and it still isn't working... the passcode which works on the computer to get into Spectrum doesn't work for the watch.

Should our technology cause this must frustration?! I don't think so. What is Spectrum selling --- or have they oversold a mobile service that they can't deliver on yet.

Anyone else frustrated with Spectrum Mobile?

HIV med commercials

Parents are trying to figure out why spectrum show commercials with two men/ women kissing, holding hands etc. Who are you all trying to reach...not us, but our children and grandchildren. We as parents/grandparents are sick and tired of this. You all have taken this too far. Parents can't sit down and watch television with their kids anymore. This is sick and unnatural, something has to be done. You all need to stop airing these commercials. By the way, what does medication has to do with your sexual preference/ orientation?

Spectrum is the worst

Everyday the connection goes in and out it will make my tv go black screen because of it I hate this company so much i wish I could go back to my old people like xfinity but no they don't come out this far I hate all companies that are lazy and pushy like spectrum stop sending me tv bs cause y'all tried to $#*! me and up my bill last time so don't do the tv subscription they will scam you

Bad

Our service was off for 4 days when the tech came out he couldn't fix it but he did go through the house gathering old cords so that if anyone put up a cell tower we can't "steal" internet. He called a mechanic who came a few hours later and fixed it in less than 30 minutes They are way to expensive and the techs are rude.

They start you off with huge lies about great service and good price. You get random charges. They give you some cheap story about why youre now paying $300 - $400 for lame channels that you did not ask for and/or dont even watch. When you call to complain about their terrible lies and service they instantly transfer you to someone without saying anything. You tell the next rep about what just happened and they hang up on you. Wth kinda people run this circus show of thieves? This should be very illegal! SO MAD ABOUT THIS!

The actual service they provide for our business works great. The issue I have is trying to get someone who can help you when you call in to their business phone number or try and chat with them. Very painful and time consuming. I have no complaints onthe actual internet they provide but when you need help, trying to get that help through their office is tough. I have been on the phone now for an hour and I am back to being on hold again after speaking with 2 people that could not help.

Too Much

Too much money. Way too much for us seniors.
Too many duplicate channels that they count.
Too many times Spectrum channels freeze or spin.
Too many times I have to troubleshoot the connection.
Too many times you have to call- unable to change channel lineup ourselves.
Too many too many's.
Too many times I want to cancel.

Grossly inept agents that attempt to compensate for their deficiencies by lying to the customer. One of these minimum wage wonders refused to disconnect the telephone service they provide in a package deal even after reiterating our demand several times, and then refused to put a manager on the phone.
It wasn't until I phoned back and advised the agent that the call was being recorded and that my connections with the media might find it interesting, that I got results.

When you call to ask a question they bypass it, and attempt to sell you something...I spoke to a supervisor and told him I had to ask 3 times my question to the representative and he boldly tells me this is a commission based position and he's not going to apologize for it.

Thefts

I canceled my service but then was continued to be charged for service that I no longer wanted or agreed to then found out from a collection agency that they decided to charge me and when I contacted them I was told because I hung up they weren't able to complete the disconnection. Wow what a joke beware of these thefts

Don't Trust Customer Retention-They Lie

If you call Spectrum to cancel their services, they will send you to their customer retention department. Be warned no matter what these agents say they have no power to do anything or offer you anything. Everything they say are lies. They say things like we can cancel your service, we can offer you a better deal, you are right we did offer that deal to you, we can't authorize to credit your account for that amount, but you are right you won't have to pay it, I'll stay on the line and talk with the billing representative and then they'll credit your account, stay on the line and don't say anything until I'm done talking with your account representative.

Of course they'll transfer you back to billing and leave you hanging. My guess is Customer Retention is the Spectrum Union offices who have no purpose anyway and get their kicks off of lying to customers.

If you believe any of customer retention's officers lies let me assure you the billing department of this monopolistic monstrosity couldn't care less what you've been offered they're about taking your money and calling you the liar and then charging you a late fee for believing their lies.

I have spent the last 6 days and over 5 hours speaking to various customer service reps within Spectrum's Customer Service network trying to change my service plan and acquire replacement equipment. I have been dropped in the middle of calls (or during xfers) no less than 6 times. I have had to repeat the details of my case each time I place a call, wasting my time and the call takers time. I have place orders for new service, and not rec'd equipment I was promised. Spectrum is the WORST company on the planet for customer service. If I could switch providers, I would.

I was a loyal Spectrum Internet customer for many years. My starting bill amount was 39.99 dollars. I walked away from Spectrum about two weeks ago. At this point my bill was 84.99 dollars per monty for exactly the same service as in the start. Also, I learned that Spectrum does not prorate bills. I stoped the Spectrum service in two and have weeks after the billing cycle and still yet was charged 84.44 dollars. If someone is looking for the internet provider, I would not recommend the Spectrum. This compony does not treat customers fairly. In this company the greed is before any reason!
P.S. I found another compony that provides a better Internet service for 30 dollars per month.

Internet service is horrible, tv service is fair as long as there is no bad weather around! Been with them 12 years as they have a monopoly in our area. Spectrum could care less about their customers or their retention of current customers. Rates have doubled in the last 18mos for us and they will not compromise to keep customers. You have to cut everyting off for at least 30 days and return as a new customer. You would think they would work with a customer to keep this from happening! Service was less than &100 for phone/internet/cable now it is over $200 what a rip off! Not a satisfied customer

RIP OFF COMPANY

If you have. Choice of ANYTHING beside spectrum do it! This company is a ROB! They lie to u and over charge all the time, I moved and my hill went from 49.99 … next month … $330! I was told I was late in my bills past months before moving ( the lady never checked the account just assumed I was late and I WASNT" so she told me I was late which made me furious being I was up to date on all my bills! They were charging me for two locations if internet and it's literally still hasn't been fixed …. I couldn't even get Internet turned on my house for weeks and they charged me for the time that it wasn't even on … I could go on and on about how they rip u off, not to mention get ready for over a hour of your time every time u need to calm them for one of THEIR mistakes! I'd give 0 stars if possible and their star rating on here out of thousands of ppl u got one star? Says alot! Company should be closed down
