Spectrum has the worst service ever. Spent over two hours on the phone to get nothing resolved, with no equipment in my home working, including Internet, and I work from home and need it. But they had no sympathy and didn't care. Can't come for two days. Thanks for nothing! At $300 a month, you'd think service would be better.

They have it noted on my account and continue to bill my bank account and refuse to refund over $1200 I was billed for on a service I never received. Said I can only dispute the last two months. The service was horrible and the company is scum! Stay clear.

Do NOT believe Spectrum! Once you are a customer, they raise the prices over and over again. They keep all the deals for ONLY new customers. They don't give a flip about current customers. The tv service is shaky at best with signal coming and going. Sometimes no sound. Screen shakes and often not watchable. Internet is ok but at almost $90 not worth it. Specially on a fixed budget.
Television services were added to my account without my consent nor knowledge. I missed two charges because my life was chaotic and it was the holidays. I called to have it fixed and was told the $270 of additional charges were non refundable because I did not catch it, THE SERVICE I NEVER REQUESTED, on my bill quick enough. It is unreal how unprofessional and condescending this treatment is. To inflect that I am irresponsible in not catching it on my bill like I have to scour each month to protect myself from my provider is insane. I would have kept my internet if Spectrum would have just fixed the error and refunded the charges. I never even used the service. Never asked for it. Don't even have a tv. They told me that I could have streamed the tv so that wasn't a factor. I had better customer service with Roshan mobile service in Afghanistan. During an actual war. The worst part about it is that Spectrum will go on unaffected. Clearly they don't need my business.

Do not, under any circumstance, ever go with Charter Spectrum for internet. They truly have the most pathetic customer service I have ever experienced. They have so many hidden fees and costs that aren't disclosed up front. If you notice an issue on your billing statement, you won't get your money back.

I've been with Spectrum for 6 years and I was trying to switch to my phone company for internet services. I called on the 9th of January and was told I would get a refund for that month $86.
January 11th I called customer service asking when I should bring the router back and where. They told me in 15 days time bring to Auburn Maine store and this customer service assistant assured me i would get my full $86 refund. When the 16th of January came around. I unplugged the router and dropped it off at the Auburn Maine store on the 16th of January believing if I dropped it off in 15 days time after speaking to a Spectrum rep I would get my refund. 21st of January I did not get a refund at all. I waited thinking maybe because it's a weekend. Well today 23rd January I called and spoke to someone who told me they will NOT be giving me a refund because I canceled services after or during the billing month start. I am EXTREMELY upset because $86 goes to a company that clearly ripped me and my family off. That's money I could have used to feed me and my baby girl! I will not be using Spectrum for anything I the future and will be telling all of my business partners, clients, friends, and family about this experience.
Constantly having issues and problems with my service. Always have to have a tech come to fix or change out equipment. Outages all the time, pixelation issues, guide issues, have to reboot often. Headaches, stress and frustration. They raise prices but service is crappy. Customer service is a bunch of idiots. Should I go on?
While spectrum cable works well it does permit consumers to pause their tv. Nor can one reverse or fast service. These are essential features. Spectrum please make plans to add these features.

They will find every possible way to cheat you and STEEL your money. They provide false information for their benefit. Make it almost impossible to to cancel subscription, and just as hard to return the equipment without being charged extra fees. Try to turn in equipment early, FORGET about it. Don't have equipment turned in the day of disconnect, plan on paying a fee. Cancel service after 11:59pm of last billing cycle day, plan on paying another monthly payment (no prorate)

I was trying to do a transfer of service in-store for the equipment on my account. The store never set up the transfer. Mind you, I drove over 60 miles one way to said store because Spectrum has no service locations in the area. The person taking over the equipment called in to set up an account and Spectrum just gave them my email, password, login - everything. Without my consent. I need my email for my new service, which now I obviously can't set up until all of this is resolved. They took absolutely no responsibility for the breach of privacy and refused to give me back my email.
I was solicited on the phone by Spectrum and when I asked for a list of TV channels they provide, the caller started to curse me and called me a mother f*cker. All I wanted was for them to send me a list of channels. I will never do business with a company like this. Be warned.

They sold me exactly in Aurbundale, Florida office, one offer of 2 telephone lines for $29.00 and the third line free, then they charged me for each separate line, then another invoice arrives and they are charging me 1g for the third line, I will stop paying for the phone service with them for that reason, they are criminals, that company should not exist.
