Love their pjs, but do yourself a favor &shop in person. Quality control sucks. My pjs had a quality control issue & my review stating that it was a quality control issue was rejected & deleted on the ground that it was a "customer service" issue. Also don't bother reaching out to them by email. I emailed them thinking pics would be useful & received a response days later saying that I needed to call or chat with them in order to get help.
I got rid of all of my other bras when I started wearing SOMA bras! SOMA bras are incredibly comfortable and soft. I can wear them all day and not feel like tearing them off my body at the end of the day. I just purchased some of their night shirts and they too are so soft. I've become a big fan and just wanted to share how pleased I am with their products.
I made my initial purchase in late Dec and it took over 3 weeks to arrive. I returned it and it was picked up by USPS in Jan 11th. As of Feb 18th, it is still being processed. I reached out to customer service and they said it's taking longer because of the holidays. Seriously, five weeks later and it's still being bounced around to different warehouses. Do not make an inline purchase for this company - you will regret it!
Ordered their overpriced ($40) bras on Monday, they claimed it was made ready for USPS shipment by Wednesday. However, USPS Tracking doesn't reflect that they picked them up (it's now Friday). Given the bras are made in Sri Lanka, the least expensive country for manufacturer, it is likely that they cost Soma $2, which give them a 95% profit margin. With that kind of profit, they could have used Fedex to ship them. But no, they go with consistently unreliable USPS. Will my wife ever see those bras?
Soma has the most comfortable bras period. I have tried all sorts of brands. They have the best in softness, comfort and actual sizes to fit real women. I cannot even wear anything else now. The underwear are the same the best materials for softness, and actually wearable all day comfort. If you have never tryed one u must! You will never want anything else!
I returned an item via mail over a month ago and still have not received a refund. I e-mailed customer service and they said they are too busy to respond to e-mails. I called customer service and did not receive an answer. If you plan to send an item back via mail, good luck getting your money back.
I ordered a pajama set. The top was mailed but I got an email that said the bottoms were delayed. I received the top but never received the bottoms or heard from them in regards to them again. I washed the top & it shrunk so bad I couldn't wear it. I contacted customer service & they said I received the bottoms even though I never did. Their customer service department is worthless. Don't waste your money here!
I bought two of the Unbelievable Lift Unlined Perfect Coverage bras about 6-12 months apart. These were purchased in-store. These are $60 bras. I like the bras very much. I do not wear these bras all the time. They are line dried. One of the bras had the wire come out. I returned it to the store where I purchased it. I was told by an older woman who worked there that there was nothing she could do; the bra was a year old. She went on and on about my expectations for a bra, and that bras don't last over a year. Without going into it, she actually chastised me for bringing it in. The other employees just stood there and listened. Honestly, I couldn't even defend myself I was so embarrassed. I left the bra there and walked out. Never again will I purchase anything from Soma. I learned my lesson.
I went to Soma in Clay Terrace in Carmel, Indiana in Saturday, May 25,2019. There was a Shurice, not sure of the spelling of her man. She was 50ish, African-American woman. She was extremely helpful to me during my visit. It was refreshing to have someone be so cheerful and patient with me. Many times when I shop and ask a sales person for assistance, they act as if I am a nuisance like its a hassle to answer any question I may have. Yesterday was really an excellent experience of fantastic customer service. This lady is an asset to Soma. You have a keeper with her! I will be a regular customer as long as she an employee!
I have had multiple issues with this company and it is all their customer service. Love the products, which is a shame, but the people who work in customer service DO NOT CARE. I used to work there several years ago and a lot of the processes regarding returns and refunds were hopelessly outdated and NOT customer friendly. It seems to have only gotten worse since I worked there. Shop in the stores, but do NOT bother with online. 90% of the time the item will be on "backorder" (meaning they have no idea when it will be in), refunds take FOREVER, and if you have an issue they just say, "Sorry, is there anything else?" No effort put in to actually solve the problem. Take your money elsewhere.
Bought 3 Vanishing 360 underwire bras in October 2022. Followed washing instructions to a tee. Today 6 months later noticed material on band separating.Appears fabric is glued together not stitched. Called customer service and was told over 60 days so sorry no refund of any kind. Will never buy anything from them again. You'd think they'd stand behind their products
Ordered many items on 11/30/2020. They mailed it out using USPS on dec 7! Now it is Dec 17th and it shows it's in Georgia. And has been there since the 11th. When I called they basically said."so sad, too bad! It will be here by the 28th. Blaming it on USPS but they are still using them. Love their items but will never ever use them again.
I purchased some panties from Soma.com and it took forever to receive them. Got them and didn't like the quality. Sent back. It took forever for them to receive them. I finally got my refund and Soma ripped me off! The total amount that was purchased was $51.24. They refunded me $35.57. I talked with a customer service rep and told her I understood shipping label was $7.00 but where was the rest of it. She stated it was shipping and not refundable. I told her Soma was a scam and I will never buy anything ever again from them. She said they weren't a scam and legit people love them. I don't think so treating customers this way. Will tell everyone I know not to use this company!
I purchased 2 of same bra Sku# *******. One in May 2022 and one in Sept or Oct 2022. BOTH BRAS UNDERWIRE BROKE ON SAME RIGHT SIDE in center. Pinching me and causing a sore because I was away from home each time and had to wear the bra the rest of the day.
I contacted customer service and spoke to two different representatives. Both did not care that I had bought many hundreds of dollars of items this past year, nor would they even entertain a GOOD WILL EXCHANGE. They each told me its out of the warranty and I'll have to buy a new bra.
Yes, I sure will - but never a SOMA or a CHICO's (same company) product again. Folks, I shop ALOT. You've just lost literally $2-4k a year from me. I'm taking my business to a company that has better quality and stands behind its products as well as its customers who support them.
I made an online order on June 11th and only received an email confirming they've received with a delivery date of June 22nd. Flash forward to June 26th and I'm wondering where my order is. Spoke to customer service and to my surprise, she tells me my order was canceled on their end and can't give me a specific reason. I never received an email regarding the cancellation. Lame company and awful customer service. At the rate their going, they'll be out of business soon. Shop somewhere else.

Soma is not what it used to be. I have worn Soma for 20 years. In the last few years, I have noticed the quality decline. Quite sad and disappointing.
I went into one of their stores a while back. Got a lady who helped me pick out some bras that I was hesitant to purchase. No risk because they are guaranteed. No one was at the cash register to pay for these & after waiting quite awhile, the gal who helped me started to ring me up after I told her I didn't want to wait any longer & she couldn't find anyone to help me. She got reprimanded in front of me & other customers that she was NOT to touch the register. She tried explaining that I no longer wanted to wait & I was ready to walk out. I also stepped in the conversation to tell them it wasn't her fault but theirs for not helping me. Finally I paid & I am told I have a guarantee on the bras I bought if I did not like. It turns out that I did not like them & I wanted to exchange or refund them. I returned to the store with the brand new bras that I never wore but only tried on & they were inside the original bag I purchased them in. Turns out they would not honor their guarantee of refunding them since the size I needed only came in one style that I did not care for. I called the main office to explain what had happened at the store & they told me no such salesperson worked at the store I went to & there was no record on their books of my purchases. How could this be?!?!? I will never again have anything to do with them & I make no recommendations to anyone to purchase anything from Soma.
I have been a long time shopper at lots of Chico stores starting in your first stores in Ft. Myers Fl. I have spent thousands of $ in Chico's & love their clothes.
I recently bought several bras in the Soma store in the Villages. I had a $100 Chicos gift card which i was told i could use in Somas as well. I was told by the store manage, MaryBitting, the gift cards were interchangable. I returned the bras several days later & was given a Soma gift card in return. She assured me twice it could also be used at Chicos. When i tryed to use it at a Chicos store they wouldn't take it. I went back to the Soma store in the Villages & talked to the assistant manager Christine, who told me they were not interchangable. Had a been told that i never would have used my Chicos $100 gift card. I feel i was lied to twice. I will never buy another thing in that Soma store & i will be telling my many friends how I was lied to twice!

Answer: If you have about half an hour to sit and hold either on the phone or waiting for someone to get on chat, then yes.
Answer: They are a legit company, but shop in store if you can. Online customer service is severely lacking even when the issue is on their end and they are at fault. They really won't do anything to make it right other than offering a refund after making you deal with the inconvenience of setting up the return.
Answer: Their pajamas and bras are super comfy. They work fantastically when you receive the correct size, which seems to be an issue. Shop in person & save yourself a headache. I have had zero issues shopping in store.
