I ordered a pair of Maui Jim Surf Rider Polarized-261-02G-Size 63 | Sunglasses online on May 31. On June 1, my credit card was charged. On June 11, I checked the status of the order and saw that the staus was "Pending - Waiting to be verified."
I went on the chat to ask what this meant, and was told that the payment was a "high risk transaction" - even though this it was made on one of the 3 worldwide credit card companies and I submitted the order from one of the 50 U.S. states. They said in order to process the transaction, I would need to:
1. Email them a copy of my driver's license, passport or birth certificate.
2. Pay again by PayPal and they would refund my credit card charge.
So, even though they ALREADY HAD PAYMENT, they wanted payment again or obtain enough information to conduct substantial identify theft.
I disputed the charge with my credit card company.
This was my first time ordering sunglasses online, and first time paying over 100$ for a pair so I was hesitant at first. BUT I had a great experience! I got the Ray Ban RB3025 Aviators, and they look amazing. I ordered them on Sunday and they came in (Ontario) on Wednesday! Will definitely purchase from SmartBuySunglasses again!
I'm so afraid because I've read the other reviews about the fact they don't give you a refound.
Well, I've ordered a pair of glasses two weeks ago.
After seven day the told me the glasses I've orderd were not in stock (really it takes seven day to find out if you have or not a pair of glasses?!)
I've read the services said that glasses are made in Italy. Well, I live in Italy and I try to call the office but the number is inexistent.
Others reviews on an Italian site said that there isn't any office in the street they indicated. I don't know if this is true or not, but the fact is that you had to AVOID this site.
I already know I will not receive any refund, so at least you, other buyers, stay away from this site.
The service has not reply me yet.

The worst experience i can ever have with a company
Believe me this company have no respect for the customer i will give you the reasons
I bought an item and waited 15 days for it to be delivered and then the item i received is a different size
Ok we say that mistakes happen...
I happily reposted back the item and paid for the postage fees by that time around 20 days are wasted
I asked to replace the item to my order which is an Oakley frame with size 53 they said that they will deliver it in a week and then suddenly they say its out of stock
In conclusion they've sent me a different item because my item was out of stock and they thought that i will just keep the smaller frame!
Now i asked for a refund for the frame and the postage back fees
They haven't made a refund until i opened a PayPal dispute and they didn't pay me for posting the item back.

Ordered a pair of Ray Bans with prescription lenses. My local optician didn´t have my colour. Took about 4 weeks to get them, they fit perfectly. Very satisfied!
