I am a loyally customer since I bought my first prescription glasses for my husband. I have bought glasses and sunglasses for me, my two sons, my cousins, my colleagues and have recommend this site to everyone which need new glasses or sunglasses or asks me about my glasses and sunglasses.
I ordered some Maui Jim Sunglasses in March and was told right away that there would be a delay as they were out of stock at the distribution centre. SmartBuy Glasses kept me informed constantly about the status of my order. They also offered to change the order to another make which they could have shipped faster. But I was willing to wait for the Maui Jim Readers, my optician recommended them and in the end I was really glad I did. The sunglasses are great and were well worth the wait. I had an excellent shopping experience with SmartBuy Glasses and would use them again and also would recommend them to my friends.
My sunglasses arrived in only a few days and without delivery costs. Lowest price and good customer service. I had the wrong address connected to my PayPal and they changed it inmediately so it got sent to the correct address.
I had a great experience with SmartBuyGlasses. I ordered the Carrera Champions at a great price. Free shipping too, that was a plus. When the sunglasses came I had not realized that they where the small size and where for children. I emailed in and asked about an exchange, I had to just pay the shipping for the return, and the new glasses Carrera Champions (adult sized) arived about 2 weeks later. They said that they had to wait for the small ones to be returned before shipping out the new ones. Only complaint I have is that they where a little hard to hear on the phone. Everything else was great, thanks for the after sales service!
I received the item in good condition, and iwas happy with it, they also gave me discount and that is a good thing since my item was delayed a bit and I was patiently waiting for it. But then again, still satisfied I hope they improve more in fast delivery.
I have ordered carrera sunglasses from this site this morning. I made an immidiate eft and haven't heard anything since. I have emailed them and NO REPLY. They have no record of my order or payment - starting to worry. I will post an update soon
I ordered my contact lenses on July 1st and today is 14th July On their website it was mentioned 3-5 working days but still I did not receive my order. I have been sending an email but I didn't receive any response from them" I need my refund please. I will never order from them again to get such stress. All I request is to get my money back please.

The company samartBuyGlasses are very smart in scamming people who are penny pinchers and want to save a few dollars on their eye glasses. I have ordered a pair of glasses and these scammers took my money and after charging my credit card I got another email 5 minutes later saying that "our system flagged your payment as a potentially risky transaction and..." and they have the 2 options for me, 1. "email" them my passport, drivers license or other government ID" or pay by PayPal.
I am really mad at those crooks hiding behind the computer screens and looting people. I've cancelled my order and don't know if and when they refund my money! I work in the law enforcement and won't let them get away with this type of scam for long!
After comparing with other sites for the best deal on my Acuvue Oasys Astigmatism contacts, SmartBuyGlassess had the lowest price + free shipping. Great transaction, my order was accurate and complete. Highly recommend!
My experience is the same as others indicated below. I ordered Maui Jim Sunglasses on December 16th, expecting delivery withing 10 business days as indicated. Received shipping notice Jan 2 saying they are in Hong Kong Port, and that I would receive update shortly. Two weeks later, nothing. I had to call customer service twice and was promised an update again on when my order would arrive. Still no updates. Iwill call again this morning but am not expecting much.
Left another review on Trust Pilot, their customer service responded within hours to try to negate the review. But a truthful response to the customer regarding the actual order, that they cannot provide.
Do not use this company, they are not worth the time or aggravation for the slight savings and questionable product.

Excellent experience. I received my Persol sunglasses quickly with emails from SmartBuyGlasses telling me when they had received them from Persol and when they shipped them to me so I was not left in the dark wondering where they were. The glasses arrived well packaged and in the original Persol box with case and Persol paperwork. The price was excellent. I'm happy.
I ordered a pair of cazals, it never arrived! Called them and just got excuses, emailed them and got the run around. Tried and tried to reach them for over a month. Once they realize they already gave you the run around once or twice, they stop picking up your calls! Called them from my wife's phone and they picked up, soon as I gave them the order number they put me on hold and never came back on. Tried calling back no answer! This went on for a little while and the email correspondence was just geared to have you submit your proscription and face measurements over and over. Finally got wise and realized I was being scammed! I called my bank and reported it as a scam! My bank investigated and agreed it was indeed an online scam, as no services are provided for money collected and got me my money back! All these people and same experiences. How long will we let this website of scammers keep doing this to people? Somebody should do something and really $#*! them down!
I am so glad I came across their website. I saved over $350 just by buying from them and walking out of the Lenscrafter store. Their stuff is authentic, came in original box as promised. My box shipped from Hong Kong, but there weren't any issues in terms of time or anything. I would highly recommend SBG and am very close to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses from them soon... their prices are so good, it's irresistible. Their customer service is also very good, emails are promptly replied to. I had a very minor issue which was resolved by a partial refund (although I would've preferred product replacement, ideally).
I ordered a pair of Persol sunglasses from smartbuyglasses. Originally, they were said to be in stock and I received an email saying my order was received. A few days later I received another email said they were mistaken and they were out of stock. I was given a few options including choosing another pair with free express shipping, but I chose to wait for my chosen pair. I was given a rebate. Upon finally receiving my sunglasses in the mail, I was disappointed to see there was a manufacturing error on one of the arms. Given the amount of time spent trying to get the sunglasses, I decided to suck it up and keep them. I was given another rebate.
I commend smartbuyglasses for their great customer service, but I was disappointed in the many errors that occurred during my order.
I ordered a pair of sun glasses from this web site and two week passed and nothing. Called the local tool free number and it was routed to Shanghai (called them and the girls on the other end of the phone is unprofessional and it all sounded like it comes from a rented flat in Shanghai.
Guys, do a Google map on the address listed on the web site, and you'll be suprised to see a run-down, ugly, dumped car port womewhere on dirty street in NY. This business actually has over a dozen web sites sharing same setup in US, UK, Canada, Australi, Africa, etc.
They're not a legemite business, I'd personally called a con or a scam web site.
Do not shop there. I hope somehow it can be shut down.

I ordered frames with prescription, I took five days the script was wrong I sent them back got several emails saying the right ones where going to shipped over 10 days still no glasses. I cancelled the order because the customer support was horrible in solving this problem. I ordered another pair and then days later there telling me to send drivers license to verify purchase, wtf. Canceled that order and went to FramesDirect.com great service glasses in a week. Then they tell me because there in two different time zones they can't check on my order. I would have gotten 3 pairs.

I make order for a ray ban optic and it came to me after 9 days with good condition and very clear lenses, the glass is 100% original ( i go to local distributer and confirm) and also i save around 75.00 $ from this purchase, i will use this site for all my orders and also i will recommend to my friends.
I bought 1 pair of glasses on the 17th of February and I'm still waiting to be delievered! I buy lots of things on internet and this is the 1st time that it takes so long. And I'm in Suisse not on an island in the Pacific! I am very disappointed

I absolutely loved my Saint Laurent sunglasses I ordered from SmartBuyGlasses! They are definitely 100% authentic. I had ordered the same ones from Nordstrom just to see if they would be the same and they are! Everything down to the packaging and case they came in was the EXACT same. The website, however, does need some work. It's very slow and glitchy. I have tried to order from this site on multiple occasions and I get a message saying my order couldn't be placed. (It is not due to my cards) Their site loads slow as well. One of the times I tried to place an order it said it didn't go through but my card was charged. SmartBuyGlasses had no history of this order but they did what they could to credit my card for that same amount. Great customer service!
