I've ordered twice now from smartbuyglasses.com and I couldn't be happier with the servive. It is definitely cheaper, they arrived really fast ( +/- 4 days both) and the sunglasses are most definitely the same quality.
My first buying experience was not good, I bought a pair of sunglasses that were not available. They took their time to tell me and their time to re-imburse.
This time around (second purchase) I had no problems.
I've used this site HEAPS [some would say toooooo much!] every time they've been outstanding, and when they're not 100% efficient they're the first to apologize and rectify any problem. I would, and have, recommended them any time!
I bought the optical and it had some minor problem and I requested for an exchange, after I return the product, I received a email and was told that the product was out of stock, so I requested a refund together with the shipping fee which was agreed before. However, after I request the refund, there is no one to reply me. I sent more than 5 emails and wait for a few days alr. But I never get any reply. And until now I haven't gotten the money. This is such s disappointing experience. How can I trust the website and recommend this to my friends?

Ordered my glasses on Oct 30. The site stated that the frames were in stock. After several weeks I received an email stating the frames were delayed, but their supplier had them in stock. Wait! You said you had them in stock when I ordered them!... Then, every week I received an 'order status update' email stating the glasses were preparing to ship. I ultimately canceled the order, which was an ordeal in itself. If you need your glasses within the next two months, do not order from this company!

I have just two comments. It is as the delay of delivery. I did not know that the purchase would be international and that would come from such a distant place. I even thought it would not receive the product. But it turned out all right.
The other is that I thought I saw at the time of purchase the site, would receive a kit with some dusters and liquid for cleaning glasses. But if it is not true, all right, may have been my mistake.
What matters is that the product has arrived and I am happy with the purchase and placement of you.

A Little long waiting time for collecting the order, good customer care, but the photos of glasses could be more detailed - leopard pattern earpieces of ones I've ordered were easy to miss (I thought those were all black), but the return went fast and without problems.
Receved frames within a week, and the eye perscription was too strong. I went to eye Dr and got a weaker scrip and also picked out a frame I thought was more to my liking. I returned the first pair of glasses and they shipped me the new pair with no additional restocking or any hidden fees and new glasses came in 4 days. I will use them again for perscription sunglasses.

They are scams! I sent back the glasses and they never gave me the refund, they are delaying and giving excuses, they mention refund is made in 5-7 working days, it's already 10 days and I got nothing back! I keep sending emails and they don't send the money
I had a very good experience when purchasing glasses.
Since it is the first time buying glasses on the internet I would have appreciate a response from you when you handled my prescription that all information need is there and everything looking complete to make the glasses.
I also would like to have a more specification of the glass since I am not sure of the quality of it. My other glasses seems not to be needed to clean as many times as my new ones purchased from you. The reeding part is very small on the glass.
Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.

Put in my order for Persol glasses and was wondering why this site was so much cheaper than any other site. Did my research and they seemed to be kosher, until they charged my card and they advised me that my address was flagged as a cautionary flag. I replied that I would be more concern buying something from them as they may send fake glasses or even fraudulent transaction with my card than to be flagged as a cautionary risk! If it was flagged as a cautionary address why do they charge my credit card then and later to refund me when I told them I want to cancel the order? I did ask that question to which there no reply to. I would not buy from them and luckily my money was refunded to my credit card. And I would also cancel my credit card in case there is any fraudulent transaction by them.

Horrible experience with this site. First of all when they charged my card it got flagged by VISA and my card was frozen. Then they said it had to be reviewed by their credit department before the order could be placed. By the time they released it they were sold out of the glasses I ordered. They didnt tell me that though I had to contact them to find out the status. Then I asked for a different pair of glasses, and when I checked back a week later they said they were also sold out of those ones! Again they didnt contact me to tell me that either! Terrible, asked for a refund. Won't use them again.

I was hesitating on purchasing from this website, it ended it being trustful. I asked the representatives to pick the darkest havana pair and they did it for me. It just took a little bit more of expected as the order took a week more because of some delays on customs.
I order my prescription glasses from SmartBuy Glasses after 'researching' different websites. I already tried on the frames in a normal store and knew what I wanted.
The purchase was easy, the price was the best and delivered on time and as expected. I'd definitely recommend the site and will use it again.
I had ordered Tom Ford sunglasses and after 5 days I received the item with color defective, after contact customer care and long discussion through email and asking a lot of photos for the proof then they asked me to send the item for exchang.
I sent the item for exchange, but they not refund the shipping cost they told me they will give me discount code 5%!
After this long process I received the same defective item again with same tag. Which company is this?!
However I'm stuck on the same long process for second time. The problem is that I bought this item for gift and smart buy glasses put me in worst case with people. And smartbuyglasses just thinking about money!

I had a good experience with this company, the ones I wanted first weren't in stock and neither were my second choice, but my third choice were so about a week later I got them. They arrived in perfect condition no problems, and I got a partial refund for the price difference from my first choice. Great helpful customer service and good deals.
After having purchased a pair of spectacle frames that were flagged as available for immediate despatch, the updates that followed indicated that this was not so. The communications indicated that the item ordered was in stock, not in stock, ordered, delayed, and then finally arrived. Not good.
The price was fair, the quality was excellent, but the experience was bad.

It took about 4-5 weeks before I got my delivery. Very happy With my sunglasses that i ordered, but not that It took so long before i got them. On the website It says that It will take maximum 10 says.

The glasses were great value for money and good quality I bought a smartbuy collection pair they were nice. But it took ages for them to be delivered maybe it was just my order but it really was weeks before I got them.

I bought a pair of men's Tom Ford Leopold Havana sunglasses. In my opinion, they are *FAKE*. The reasons why I think they are fake:
1. The glasses case is the wrong case
2. The Tom Ford brand name on the glasses case is pressed and not embossed in gold
3. The glasses do not come with the Tom Ford branded glasses cleaner
4. The frames are twisted. They don't sit right. I put them on, looked in the mirror and they sat really crookedly. I took them off and had a look, the frame is really obviously twisted. This would not have passed Tom Ford Quality Assurance tests and/or they would never have been manufactured by Tom Ford with a fault...
Before you suggest that they were damaged in transit, they are so twisted, there's no way they could twist this much without them breaking. Also, the were packed really well in multiple boxes and well protected.

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
