I ordered 3 months of contact lenses, I ordered them on a Tuesday night & they arrived on the Friday morning... from Italy! I ordered them from Ireland and couldnt believe it was so quick, What a great service
I ordered two pairs of glasses one for my husband and one for myself. The ones for myself were delivered promptly, the ones for my husband took a very long time - however, it was on the distributors end and SmartBuyGlasses were very helpful in giving us a nice discount and keeping us posted about the delivery date. I would order from them again.
I am very disappointed since I for once planned my gift on time, had a specific model in mind and ordered it a month in advance just to make sure it would be delivered on time for christmas. After about 8 days I got an email saying my order is ready for delivery and will be sent out shortly. Four days after that I received an email saying my order is prolonged offering me a refund and some discounts, still not clarifying if my order is coming or not. I immediately contacted them per mail, two days later I got a service managers' answer saying my order never was ordered form the supplier and that it go go 5-11 days before I could get it. Since this specific model wasn't available anywhere else I still wanted it but after some emailing back and forth I realized it wouldn't make it in time. No problems with the customer service but no need to use this site ever again since it doesn't feel trustworthy.
I ordered a pair of Gucci sunglasses from Smart Buy Glasses. I want the glasses in brown and I couldn't bring up that pair on my order. I phoned the customer service number and they straightened it out without a problem. The glasses took some time to arrive but they are just as advertised. I would order from them again.
The frames sent to me were not the ones I had selected. They are close, even attractive, but not the same. I have kept them because I feel I can make them work, when I get my prescription filled in them.
They are criminals. Do not do business with them.
They do not have a Phone Number
They sent the wrong prescription after a delay of 4 months
This is not a reputable business... they are despicable.
The review sites that first pop up for smart buy glasses come from the same server group as their website! They are awful!
I purchased ray ban sunglasses, after a week and I checked order status they are discontinued.
So I canceled it and customer service contact me again after refund, they said it is in stock.
I made purchase again and waiting for another week to find out they are discontinued again even same item is available at rayban website.
What a waste of time and worst customer service.
I think they just try to keep your money till you find out it is not shipped and cancel it.

Glasses arrived in reasonable time, and they look great. I am adjusting to the prescription currently, and wear them most of the time. I will likely buy another pair to use in the sunlight too (tinted).
I ordered prescription eye glasses, gave my doctor's prescription and when they arrived, the clear lenses are just clear, not according to the prescription I gave. So obviously they never ordered the glasses based on my prescription. I will return them and expect a full refund! Beware! I demand the return label to be provided free of charge!

After the mailing delay and email silence i finally received my new Persol's I'm happy to report that they are authentic and the prescription is perfect.
I would go with 5 stars but the email responses need to improve from SBG.
I will use them again for sure!

Though the shipment arrived a little later that wah I thought, however the communication and update from smartbuyglasses was regular and clear. The packaging was perfect and to sum up the overall experience - happy and impressed!
I received the sunglasses according to the purchasing order, but because of my mistake the model is wrong. I expected the same format of Ray Ban in brown color but not polarized. Any chance of changing?

I believe that this is a fraudulant website and if I don't receive my order or a refund within one week, I will reporting them to ontrac.org.za which is an organisation that investigates cybercrime. Please read for an important word of warning.
I ordered a wraparound sunglasses frame from this place, with prescription lenses. It turned out they apparently don't have proper tools and machinery to deal with the wraparound frames; so the lenses job was absolutely bungled.
Now - I requested a return, and here is where there is an important warning for everybody:
When I ordered the glasses, they - I believe unlike any other online glasses shop - DID NOT request to upload a recent prescription.
However - when you request a return, this is THE FIRST THING they request. Apparently if you don't have a less than a year old prescription, and if it is not exactly what you ordered - your return will be denied.
I will refrain from commenting on this, except to say that I was lucky to have had a valid, few months old prescription. So they had to honor my return request.
Other than that the return and refund was pretty smooth. Might even deal with them in the future for very simple jobs.
