Booked a ticket with this bunch and got a call from them telling me that the tickets are all booked out. She had an Indian accent and alarm bells rang when she tried to get me another flight. I then hung up!
Never, ever use this company. Tried to search for flights to get to a friends funeral in NZ. Quoted £837. Went all the way through the process to book only to be told that it was no longer available at that price, it was now £2,800. Sky scanner site sent me to Trip.com. Clearly they are utter b……s. Travis Katz what are you up to? Sky scanner why are you connected/dealing with this company. Shame on you both
Sky scanner days good days are over! They will direct you to sites like "mytrip" with cheaper fares who will take your money but not fulfil their conditions of the fare! A complete bait and switch scam! Avoid Sky Scanner and My Trip. Book directly with the airlines for guaranteed booking and fulfilling the terms and conditions of the flight! Eg confirmed booking, refunds, changes ect.
Without my permission and by its own will, Skyscanner changed my flight schedule and itinerary causing my business financial losses and headaches. They don't accept phone calls and did not have the decency to email me with the new schedule and itinerary. I consider this type of action from Skyscanner a true SCAM which only benefits its own bank accounts without any regard towards its costumers,
I booked a car via "Wisecars" that i found on skyscanner rent a car page.
"Wisecars" is intermediary company for which small local companies work. In this case in Sofia: a company called "Addcar".
"Addcar bulgaria" tried all sorts of aggressive tricks to make me pay more money - pushing aggressively their own insurance making false claims, trying to charge more money for the security deposit, using a ridiculously high exchange rate when converting from euro to local currency and bluntly stating that they can use any exchange rate they want (there is a fixed official exchange rate), trying to rush through the examination process when giving me the car, charging me 960 euros for 1 tiny scratch...
Avoid them in all cost.
It is a pity that such a reputable company does not check intermediaries who provide services on its behalf.
They cancelled the ticket. We just know that the ticket was cancelled during the flight date when the traveler was in the airport. We request for the refund however the refund still not come for more than 2 months now since the time we know the ticket cancellation and the ticket was bought last June 2022 and the flight date is August 2,2022. They cannot give definitive reason/s why the ticket was cancelled and the refund was not given. We gave them the copy of the credit card statement that showed there are no refund of the money that was taken in our credit card.
Unfortunately, Skyscanner allow anyone to be offer tickets, including scammers and thugs, I would bet that 50% of all their associates using illegal scam tactics to milk their customers, like edreams, wiki, and many others. It is unfortunate that customers go directly to airline websites to buy tickets they are quoted exoberant figures that they have left no optios other than using Skyscanner and it is associated scammers.
Skyscanner should change their name to Skyscammers and will fit them 100%. The agents they have are all scammers. They don't have actual access to the booking. All they do they are gambling with your money. They charge you less and go try, and most likely, they will not get the price and cancel your reservation. I had a passport appointment in GA and used 2 of their agents. Edreams and Ovago was the worst experience I had in my life. I am serious about this. I lost a three months appointment that I had reserved for passports.
Totally useless……. Did a search a flights and wanted to save for a price alert. Wanted me to sign in with verification code, Over and over and over…. You get the picture…. Could never sign in. Pretty useless piece of sofware!
Literally the worse website to ever book your flight on. Gave me such a hard time. So on the website it said that my booking was confirm and i would get my e tickets with in 24hr hours. So it had been almost 2 days and i hadnt gotten anything i then called them to find out what the hold up was and i get told that my returning flight had been full. The basically gave my seat away to some one else. It was really upsetting to deal with this as you can imagine. They kept telling me we have another flight we can give you for the day you need to go but charging me extra. At that point i was so done with these people. So when i tried to cancel this ticket they wouldn't give me my money back telling me we dont do that and causing me alot of problems. Its only when i told them i would complain to their manager and report them for scam is when the listened. Stay away from this scam site guys.
I tried to book tickets through them. My web page said it was going to be $209 for two people. I put in all my information and when I didnt recieve confirmation they said the flight was $700.00 The man I spoke with was very rude, when I asked him to speak with a supervisor he said his supervisor was too busy to speak to me. Extremely dissatisfied!
Have found some great deals here. Make sure that you choose "whole month" when looking at prices as you'll be able to see which dates are the cheapest in that particular month and you can save by moving your travel dates slightly.
Terrible organisation.
Have had so many push backs on my refund. It's now been 64 days and still nothing and no communication.
I'm assuming they could be distributing funds to untraceable places so they can go into administration without paying anyone refunds.
So unfortunate my friends and I used them all the time. That won't happen again and I have made it my mission to advise everyone I encounter of my experience.
They've removed their ABN off the website it seems. But if anyone needs it for legal claim processes please let me know. I luckily took a screenshot before they removed it.
I recently booked several flights with the help of Sky Scanner... but I have to give them one star because of the sites they share with. In particular Travel Merry... it is seriously the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customer service agents speak terrible english and are of very little help. This flight was booked for 1420 through SkyScanner, and was then changed by Travel Merry to 0750... no way we could have made the time change work for us. The flight was non changeable... non-refundable... nothing. Our credit card was also compromised a few days after booking through the site. I really hope that SkyScanner will look into the companies it represents, and truly consider removing them from their site.
I am booking my vacation flight then the agent filipino guy name Abraham who I just talked was so rude. I'm not referring this travel agency it's not good and very defensive when I asked if the site is legit.
Why are you using this company as a partner? Can I change the travel option with someone else's card and charge it? Customers are not stupid. Skyscanner will not do business in the future.
Prices for a specific set of flights have fluctuated between 200% and 250% (double or 2.5 times that advertised price) WRONG over the last few days. The expectation is that they would be 100% (correct price) right. Hating this time waster.

I was trying to change / cancel my flight and faced a lot of difficulty ( NO response through all kind of communications, Rude & untrained customer service, no system, sort of cheating sometimes,... etc)
Site was user friendly. It was very easy to review the offers over a few months, pick the cheapest times to match your travel requirements and then book. Perfect, it had everything you needed, presented simply. The 'new improved' site is so clunky and poor by comparison that I've stopped using it as my go to reservation site
Four times paid to book a business class ticket to USA, four times cheap tickets cancelled booking. Skycanner directed to this site. Frustrating experience. Booking was from Geneva to Seattle. One can understand once, four times same excuse after getting the payment. Is it joke or scam? Cheap Tickets has not taken any responsibility for their mistake. It appears no responsibility for such blatant cancellations. When customer want to correct a minor mistake like date after booking, they charge, but for them no responsibility for taking money but not sending the ticket.
