This doesn't even deserve a star! We were extremely excited to get these tags for our dogs because they hate the metal dog tags and we thought a silent one would work best for them. Not even more than 2 weeks and the silicone hook has ripped off clean from the bone shaped tag. We're still trying to figure out how it broke! We've emailed and called and left messages and NO ONE HAS GOTTEN BACK TO US. That's horrible customer service and I wish I would have saved my money for something else. I would not recommend this product at all.

Like others I have been waiting a completely unacceptable length of time for two plastic tags. I ordered on October 27. As of January 15th I have not received anything yet.
Very disappointed.
Hopefully the "sharks" can use their "experience" to help this obviously troubled company figure out how to
- deliver
- improve customer service
- communicate
- oh, and did I already say DELIVER!
I hope that I do (eventually) receive this product and that it is HIGH quality because the time, cost and frustration experienced to date is unacceptable.

Silidog Made it right!

I got an e-mail from the company apologizing for the problem I had. They said they had redesigned the top of it where the ring goes and they would send me all new ones. I received them and they have lasted for the last several months! I would say they have fixed their problem and redeemed themselves. I would now reorder from them!

I order 3 tags. We had to wait a long time and as soon as i put them on the dog collars TWO of them broke. I e-mailed the owner/inventor and never heard a word back. They cost too much to have used them less than a week and get no replacements. Very disappointed

OK Tag

Disappointed in the ring they gave with the tag. Lost the tag after wearing it for less than 2 weeks. I also noticed before the tag was lost that the corner edge silicon was wearing away. What a waste of over $20. Will just get another plastic tag. Wish I hadn't thrown mine away when I received this tag.

Great product

This is a great product. I have a different use. I have an electronic apartment key which is bulky and want to have a tag to identify. My tag says "If Found Call...". I use it a lot so it is in and out of my pocket. Works perfect for 7+ months. Also have tags for my cat and dog and they also work great. My tags arrived as promised.
I see some very negative review. As far as I am concerned the product and company should have great review.

I purchased my silidog tag for my shihpoo in November 2016. Last month I found that it was starting to come apart. I messaged silidog on etsy which is where I ordered it and nothing. I afterwards discovered that they no longer have a page on etsy so I went to their website and messaged them. Still no reply. I messaged them on Facebook and still nothing. It's not worth your money and the lifetime warranty they advertise is clearly not true. Don't waste your money.

We ordered one for our only pet. It took forever to receive.
It failed after 7 months. The rubber ring that holds it to the collar split in two.
I contacted sillidog and all the kept saying to me was send a picture. I asked mutiple times what are you all going to do with a picture and what are you all going to do to replace it. As of this post still no answer. Oh BTW - it was on my indoor only cat that wears a breakaway collar. Horrible product. If it fell apart in the indoor enviroment what the heck is going to happen if it is exposed to the elements...

Not sure what the problem is with this company, but I have tried to contact Silidog MANY times by phone, FB message AND email regarding a Nov. 1 order that has been paid for but never arrived. They have not responded to me. I say BUYER BEWARE! This is a fly by night operation, from spotlight to silence. If only they would have responded to me, explaining that they are swamped with orders, I would have given them lots of slack because I like to support American entrepreneurs. "Sili me" for not going with a sure thing and buying a pet tag at my local pet shop, instead of spending so much $$$ on this guy's operation!

Never got my tag!

They cashed my payment 10/31/16, they sent me an email about a month later apologizing for the delay. I wrote back supportively because I like to help small businesses (saw on Shark Tank) Another month goes by, get another email telling me my tag is on the way(Jan. 2017). Still no tag4--5-17. I have contacted the company 3 times with NO response! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Avoid like Plague

Placed order with business on 10/29. It is now 12/27 and NO TAGS. This company is a complete disaster. All it seems they can do is collect payments. They CANNOT seem to ship tags, respond to emails, phone calls, etc. DO NOT ORDER. Someone should reach out to Lori or SharkTank and let them know!

I don't know which shark it was that back this company but I'm sure you're kicking yourself in the head now because they have horrible customer service I have emailed four times because of our tag breaking within a short period of time the other tag ripped and have yet to get a response and that was over three months ago! I was hoping they were a member of the Better Business Bureau but ha ha what a shocker they are not! I guess whoever the shark was does not stay on top of the business because you would think that companies that were on that show that are backed by one of the richest people in America would be better and have better customer service we will NEVER order anything we see on Shark Tank going forward!

2 out of 3 have broken

Ordered 3 tags, not cheap, for 3 small dogs. Two of them have broken at the ring hole. Definitely not a good product. Customer service was slow to respond after multiple emails.

The tag tore right off within two weeks. Silidog didn't answer any of my emails and won't offer a refund. It's too bad... I liked the look, but it's a terrible design; the silicone is too weak.

I loved the story of this product and wanted to support this and was happy to purchase for my dog, unfortunately I have purchase 2xs separate occasions and they both have broken by the ring or hoop of it. Great product minus that part, I love the look and feel of it. The first one lasted only about 4 months then about a month or so later ordered another one and that one lasted about 4 months as well. Actually if just broke today & I now just reading some reviews and as i read seems like there's a defect on that, being it's breaking the same way for others. I have not contacted them yet because as I googled it saw it said for reviews so I started reading first and thought I put mine up as well, But I have not contacted them, it may be a waste of time per previous reviews. Again, looks & feels great and I do love it, but honestly need to correct this defect on it, maybe make the ring/hoop area more sturdy or possibly some type of metal, my opinion. Hope this helps other viewers.

This is THE BEST pet tag I have ever had. I saw the company and Shark Tank and it was the first time I had ever made a purchase of a product from the show! The pet tag is perfect for even my little Lhasa Also, Max.

Also, extremely great customer service and FAST & FREE shipping! I had ordered on a Thursday night and received it by Monday:)

Update... March 7th, 2018. After emailing and calling Silidog with the photos in my profile picture and providing my contact information, I never received so much as a call, an email, nothing. Not a word. No comment, no credit, no "we're sorry that happened" - NADA. So my comment is not FAKE nor is it OLD. I wanted to like and support this business. I loved the story on Shark Tank. But as a consumer I'm warning people the tags break and they do not stand behind them. Buyer Beware. It's too bad because if they would work on their design (maybe switch to metal for the grommet that attaches it) and keep up with customer service they could be a good company.

And reviewers shouldn't be "shaming people" who give poor reviews. I hope Sitejabber will take note of this. Unless a reviewer is being abusive or threatening a person should be able to give their honest experience with a company and not be "shamed on them" for it. All of the reviews on Silidog I have read have been respectful and representative of that person's experience. Nancy G. Must have a vested interest in Silidog. If so, maybe she could start answering the phone.

Great idea expect they break! The silicone ring breaks, just like all the reviews keep telling this company and they won't stand behind their product, won't answer emails or calls. At best, you might as well light your $20 on fire, at worst, your could lose your dog. It's sad. I am a huge Shark Tank fan and wanted to support this business. You can't have horrible customer service and expect to succeed.
