Just like the previous reviews, major sales hype, no delivery on the promises made AND, here's a bonus for you: They posted a bogus number for our company that was supposed to be forwarded to us. However, it went nowhere. Signpost has DESTROYED our online presence. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, TIME AND EFFORTS! You would be better off knocking door to door or even cold calling verses using Signpost. They don't deserve the star I'm being forced to give just to post this review.

It's ironic that this company helps get positive reviews on Yelp and Google, and they do not show up on either site, b/c if they did, the negative reviews would kill them! I feel they have terrible business ethics.
I told the sales gal up front that I, a sort of dinosaur that has had my biz since before the Internet or cell phones, do not collect emails, and don't plan to. She went of to say they scoop them off the Internet, that they are linked to the cell phone they called you on! That that is how they build a list. That's just one of two silly things she told me.
Later I found out that isn't true, and I have to get them to opt-in, which I won't make my customers do. For my biz, it would almost be as odd as having a taco shop try to collect your email on the drive through, at least from my point of view.
And I didn't read the contract, which I signed, which has a 50% penalty. The sale's girl, of course, never mentioned a word about this penalty. Point is, I paid a lot of money, and got nothing. Think I'm happy?
Should I have read that contract? Of course. But why have a contract with a penalty like that? How does it benefit the customer? Why not vet people, and make sure the product will fit their business model? I just can't do business the way they do.

We are getting lots of new reviews without having to make any additional effort to do so. Super happy with Signpost so far and what is has done for our reviews.
The workers are amazing to deal with. Always friendly and knowledgeable. They have helped us drive a lot of new reviews and get our name out there. They have even helped us to get a few new customers as a result of their efforts. So what is the downside? Sometimes they send a bit too much to the customers, which can irritate them and they don't have a way to delete erroneous ratings. We have a guy pretending that he is us and his customers are flocking to Signpost and leaving derogatory remarks on our account! People we never heard of are leaving 1 star ratings! We finally had one guy come forward and explain that this man was claiming to be us. We called Signpost yet we cannot get the 8 or so bad reviews off of our account! No way to delete them! Signpost said, "Don't worry the public wont see them!" However, these bad ratings bring my overall score down. If they continue coming in I will go from a 5 star company to a 1 star! Not good at all. If they could just fix this issue they would get upgraded to a 5 star from me!

"Trent" has been harrassing my office to buy their "clean up" social media product. Can not call him back on his 925 number because it is a scam computer number! He points out negative comments, not many, one, on google then comes up with two different sites of google with different address and phone numbers. Oh my this is awful. Well they are expensive I cannot afford them, so in retaliation, he calls my office with a dire information on yelp. I go and check it out. OMG i cannot believe someone hacked my FB and put in slanderous info on a comment. He took a "screenshot" and posted the slander that I allegedly wrote on some FB article that took place in 2015! Only it had my most recent picture! Hey Trent, that is illegal. Yelp is for business only. You were never my patient or will be. That is libel and harassment. It had my most recent pic. A screen shot if posted 2 years ago, would have my old pic. This screen shot had my new pic. Just changed last week!

I received a call from an agent and she was really nice. Went over a few things. Explained to her that I was the one in our business that makes the final decision but I still have to run everything by everyone else that is running it since it is a family business. I ran it by them and they said no they didn't like the idea and my sister would try to do something with it or another company that does something similar but the final decision still landed on me. Of course if they disagreed I was not going to pay hundreds monthly for and my family not be okay with it. So when she called me back I told her we didn't want to get anything done after all and she began to give me the attitude kinda laughing and giggling about it telling me I'm not the decision maker if I don't want it after all and wanted it at first. She told me that she was going to put me on a list (frankly I don't care if you put me on a list) but continued to say good luck as if she was making fun of us for not wanting to go through with them. Telling me good luck with my sister being as good as the software they have. I'm sorry but she was just so rude and began to give me attitude that was unneeded. If this is how they run their business with that kind of attitude why in the world would they think I would want to open an account with them and continue. I do not recommend going through them! It is not worth it at the end when you have to cancel or say no!

Answer: A contract is reuired, you must pay up front, and they will not allow you to cancel. Stay away!
Answer: Signpost takes a lot of work to reap any benefits; it's not as easy as the pushy sales staff would have you believe. The real problem occurs when you try to leave. They require payment up front (in our case one year), and will not refund anything when you cancel. This is a very shady company, and I would recommend staying away!
Answer: Dave W's [Signpost Rep] above, is a classic example of the problem with Signpost; you can't just cancel the service. They bill you in advance, will not refund what they have billed (even if you quit using the service), and make it very difficult to cancel. Answer: Good luck John. You will have to endure a long sales pitch from a very pushy sales associate. In our case (sounds like others had similar situations), we had to cancel 30 days before the contract automatically renewed. I contacted Signpost the day after their $2,000 charge appeared on my credit card, and they refused to budge. Nothing... Best to stay away from Signpost!
Answer: Dave W, it sounds like you a have a really terrible job, trying to justify the way Signpost treats clients. In my case, I'm out $2,000 with no recourse, for a one year contract that I don't want. Shame on you!
