From the sales call to the use of the product, this company has been exceptional! We have received feedback and reviews from past customers as well as current. Our customers have been very receptive to the emails and offers as well! As the office manager and head of marketing, I am in charge of so many different aspects of the business. It can be very difficult to find time to follow up with clients. This program offers the ability to communicate with the customer and follow up, without having to remember it myself. My favorite feature though, is that if a customer is unhappy at the end of the project, I am alerted so that I can try and resolve the issues right away. I love this company, program and personnel so much so that I recommend it to anyone I can, anytime I can. Thank you so much Signpost!
Sign Post is a great software to help us to grow our business in our community. This is not one of the most important aspect of this company. The most important aspect for us is the great customer services Sign Post have. My executive account is Sean he been great with us. Helping us in any single step on our journal. Thank you Sean to be so helpful.
Easy to understand. Gets you into the cloud quickly. Our sales up, awareness and connections to my base high. New connections added to increase my level of effective marketing. Cost lower than what you would expect for such a rush of network. "You have to get a 20 minuter with them and then you to will believe and sign up to Sign Post". Go from brick and mortar to digital...
Alex has been fantastic to work with. I am super pleased with the follow ups and feel, even though we have only been going with you for a little over a month, that you are vested. I was hesitant initially to sign on with Signpost because I had tried other types of online marketing like Dex's "web based marketing plan" and had very bad experience. I am excited to see what happens when all of the pieces are in place and running smoothly.
I contracted with Signpost for a 1 year period. I mainly wanted to increase reviews online for the company. For $1,750.00 I got 3 reviews on Google, 6 reviews on Yelp and 2 re-marketing sales. I also receive multiple complaints a month from non customers they spam from my email. The concept sounds good but does not work very well in practice.
We did over 700 projects this year. Seems like it would of generated more than 9 reviews and 2 sales. Seems like it works for some people just did not work for us. Taking a cruise with the $1,750.00 this year.
I've been with SignPost for a little more than a year and they have helped me expand my business. One thing that SignPost has done is to help us to retain happy customers. We're looking to expand our business even more in 2016 thru their Email newsletter feeature.
We a thrilled to be receiving so much positive feedback from our customers and giving them the opportunity to let us know if something needs to be tweaked. We have implemented with our Rewards Program and employee morale is at an all time high.
Signpost cleaned up all our information across the search engine universe. They helped us gain a lot of positive feedback from our customers. If you are proud of your business and you want to attain reviews that you can use in your marketing Signpost is the way to go.
Can't say enough bad things about this company. I fell for their marketing hype, and chose to sign up. To date, 4 months in I've received 0 leads that I didn't create myself, and I designed the Web pages they claim to do for you 90% on my own! They manipulate you into purchasing, and they can not deliver. Worst waste of money I've ever used.
They call and call, make huge promises, use persistent sales tactics. So, I decide to look around online at the reviews. What I find is that Signpost is disingenuously using/abusing the review sites to try to counteract all of the horrible reviews they are getting from real customers.
Sure I found positive reviews on every review site - but most of them were obviously written by employees of Signpost, not their clients. The few that might be clients are obviously guided by Signpost because they say virtually the same thing each time.
I could have gone either way after the calls, but seeing this orchestrated campaign of online deception tells me all I need to know about this company. I will stay far, far away.
First their sales rep sells the software like it's the next big thing, but I only find bad reviews or reviews posted by them. Next they claim to get your company positive feedback from your customers but they only have a few reviews for their company. Why is that? Why are they not encouraging their customers to write reviews if their software is "the next big thing"? I know. It doesn't work and they do not want their customers to share their experience.
In addition, why does anyone need a contract if their product works. Customers would not leave a service that's working for them. Seems ridiculous, because it is ridiculous.
The sales people are very arrogant. Don't specifically answer questions and then try to tell you that you should commit to a 6 or 12 month contract without doing any due diligence before you commit. Hubris!
Then when I started to express my frustration with the sales person (who was, based upon her demeanor and language, just out of college), so got huffy and actually said our call was not a "sales" call. At that point I lost it and said that if she didn't think she was trying to sell me anything, she didn't know what she was talking about... but it gets better. Then she warned me that if I didn't accept her premise and basically start agreeing with everything she said (not in so many words, but that was the implication) that she was going to hang up the phone. I told her, "have a nice day young lady" and hung up.
Avoid like the plague.
Sounds like a typical startup trying to sell people some services they can mostly do by themselves using other technology.
Well, let's start from the beginning. I am a small business owner. The sales rep promised They will help generate at least 3 leads a week. After 2 weeks when nothing happened, wanted to cancel the agreement. You just can't. Regardless if all new email addresses were provided by you. They take the credit for that.
Account manager was very polite, and helped create a business page in yelp, yet that is more out les all that he did. The offered marketing emails were bulk, dull to the stage of solicitating current customers.
They bond you to the 3 month agreement and despite lack of providing new leads and not standing up to their promises, there is no way out.
The bottom line. Lots of frustration, waste of money and time.
Not only they did not help me gain new customers, but they bugged and probably retracted my current customers.
With a busy schedule, having a little automation to re-engage my existing clients has helped out A LOT.
Signpost helps automate marketing for small businesses. They have great referral and loyalty programs and drive lots of positive feedback and online reviews. And the best part is that its all automated. Small business owners can take a step back from marketing and invest more time in the business.
The telephone marketers from signpost are very persistent, it is almost as though the strategy is to wear down the mark. After repeatedly asking about price, and payment options and hearing over and over how great they are, about their 98% retention rate, and the wonderful write up they had in Forbes (a magazine I found about as reliable as the horoscope pages), I was finally put through to a manager (Lauren) who not only lacked the authority and ability to negotiate contracts, but was also rude and incredibly immature.
This is a business I would avoid like the Ebola virus. The reviews I found online were consistent with my experience or even more unfavorable.

Answer: A contract is reuired, you must pay up front, and they will not allow you to cancel. Stay away!
Answer: Signpost takes a lot of work to reap any benefits; it's not as easy as the pushy sales staff would have you believe. The real problem occurs when you try to leave. They require payment up front (in our case one year), and will not refund anything when you cancel. This is a very shady company, and I would recommend staying away!
Answer: Dave W's [Signpost Rep] above, is a classic example of the problem with Signpost; you can't just cancel the service. They bill you in advance, will not refund what they have billed (even if you quit using the service), and make it very difficult to cancel. You can't just click a button, or send an email, you have to endure a long sales pitch by a tricky, and very aggressive, sales associatte. Best to just stay away! QUOTED FROM DAVE'S RESPONSE: Dave W. [Signpost Rep] On 7/7/17 Hi Albert, Thanks for submitting! You can contact either your sales representative or our support team directly. Our support team can be reached at mia@signpost.com or 855-606-4900. They will connect you with your Account Manager, who will offboard your account with you.
Answer: Good luck John. You will have to endure a long sales pitch from a very pushy sales associate. In our case (sounds like others had similar situations), we had to cancel 30 days before the contract automatically renewed. I contacted Signpost the day after their $2,000 charge appeared on my credit card, and they refused to budge. Nothing... Best to stay away from Signpost!
Answer: Dave W, it sounds like you a have a really terrible job, trying to justify the way Signpost treats clients. In my case, I'm out $2,000 with no recourse, for a one year contract that I don't want. Shame on you!
