The company has garnered mixed feedback, showcasing strengths in its effective platform for enhancing online presence and generating positive customer reviews. Many users praise the support from account managers, noting their helpfulness and commitment to client success. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly issues with contract terms and billing practices, leading to feelings of frustration and distrust among some clients. While many small business owners report tangible benefits from using the service, the negative sentiments about support and transparency indicate a need for improvements in customer communication and service reliability.

Not only did they try to pass off another company to me, they directly lied about my current business when I told them what my new one was.
They use local numbers to deceive us and then won't tell us who they are until after the pitch.
When I pointed out they lied to me, they just hung up.
Signed up six months ago. I wanted help to get found on google search. No better than 6 months ago! All I got for $250/month was about 10 new reviews I could have gotten myself for free. Did not get a single new lead through them. Total waste of $1500!
Palm Beach Pool Doctor (Adam Armstrong) has done a great job caring for our pool. Adam is conscientious and very thorough. He truly cares about doing a good job and promptly communicates any concerns he sees. For example, he recently suspected a leak. Sure enough, we had one. The pool balance was a mess and he knew just what to do to make it clear enough to repair. We would recommend Palm Beach Pool Doctor to anyone needing pool care.
I received a cold call from a sales rep in regard to my new photography business. I told them up front that my budget has been set for the next project, so I would be more than happy to listen to their offers, but that if I were interested, it would have to occur after those took place. The rep proceeded to call me every day and get his manager to call me numerous times where each time the wording implied that I was being a fool to not take such a grand offer (borderline inappropriate articulation).
I finally had to becomes extremely stern and tell them to stop calling me altogether because I didn't have time to attend to the research it demanded and since they only give 24hrs to get that "magical" deal on the monthly bill, I can tell them right away that I won't be proceeding with the price that comes after. After one month of finally not receiving calls, I got a new number dial from them. The same rep asked if I had changed my mind at that point to which I declined. He said, "ok" and immediately hung up on me.
I will be honest, I was curious about the CRM initially and would probably have moved forward if the pressure marketing hadn't been a factor. Getting hung up on after being constantly harassed sealed the deal on me never doing business with Signpost.
I used Signpost to improve my business as they promised me but it was all talks, they never did anything to me as they suppose to do and I'm really disappointed, the only thing they did is deduct their payments on time.
I will never recommended to anyone.
We have already seen an uptick in calls inquiring about our pre-need services. Thank you so much for giving us a much higher online profile locally.
We have been with Signpost for about one Month. I have to say they have done what they said they could do in the first month. We have a number of Rave Reviews on Yelp and Google. Plus they really keep you in front of your regular customers by eliciting positive feedback. They have been enhancing our online reputation very
Steadily and I like it. We are in our slowest period now and it is hard to say how much Signpost has helped us with sales from our regular customers. What we really want are new customers and once we enter our more busy season am hoping that our enhanced online reputation will bring them.
Thanks for your review, Thomas!
Morgan always try to get back to me with any questions or problems with my account. A well deserved five star.
Thanks for your review, Felix!
High-pressure sales tactics, poor performing product. They will tell you the product will do everything imaginable to get you to sign. Odd that a company trying help you get reviews has blocked their customers from reviewing them.
I've signed a year contract with Signpost in 2014 and paid all the fees upfront. My experience with them for that year was none; they didn't provide services that they promised. Recently it was brought to my attention that they kept charging my credit card for $149 for 5-month post original subscription. When I called them for an explanation, their supervisor Omari told me that they had notified me about new "month to month contract" via e-mail. When I asked him what e-mail, I haven't received any e-mail from them, he said to me: "That is the question you should ask yourself", and that was his attitude during the whole conversation. Imagine dealing with that supervisor - unprofessional, rude, no sense of professional ethics. He even dared to threaten me of not canceling that "contract" if I refuse to pay them for the current month, that would be unauthorised payment #6. My advice: AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I can't quite fully give Signpost.com 5 stars... yet. It's not because of their team. They are doing a wonderful job! We have just been a little slow to implement all of the systems fully. I'm sure they will be as successful as promised though!
Thanks for your review, Terry! Hopefully we will start generating outcomes for you soon!
I've only had signpost for about a month, and they've done exactly what they said they would, in a timely manner. I'll update as needed.
Thank you for your review, Imana!
The company has called me 3 times trying to sell me their services. I've turned them down all 3 times and the sales people have gotten argumentative and rude. I've asked them not to call me again but they obviously don't listen!
So patient with this new business owner and my scant marketing skills. Signpost is helping me connect with old and new clients and automate something I honestly don't have time for. Ryan is great!
Thank you for your great review, Theresa!
I have been trying to get positive reviews on Yelp and Google for a couple of years with no results. We had positive reviews on Facebook only. Within a few weeks of our onboarding call with Signpost we had five 5-star reviews on both Yelp and Google and I suspect they will continue to come in. They are easy to work with and deliver.
Thank you, Bill! I am so happy to see we are driving results for your business!
I signed up for Signpost a couple of months ago, and I started seeing results right away. They have helped double my reviews on Yelp, and have been helping me to create a google+ site so they can help me get even more reviews. They are great to work with!
Thank you for your review, Jeff!
Signpost has helped generate review and referrals for my business. Customer service has gotten better and better and the program seems to be improving each year. Very happy with signpost and what it is meant to be for my business.
Thanks for the review, Ryan!
We are still in our first month of working with Signpost, but so far, everything has been very smooth. Prompt responses from knowledgeable team members!
Thanks for your review, Brianna!
Been with Signpost since October of 2015. While it's not perfect Signpost is leagues above the rest. When I started the product seemed to be lacking a few options, but in the last few months looks like they've a feature similar to, but better than Constant Contact, brought text messaging for all the automated features, allowed creation of specific customer lists to separate groups. I've seen a lot of reviews and new customers created from Signpost.
Thanks for your review, Curtis! I am happy to hear you are enjoying all of the new features!
Answer: NOT! I got a less than 5 reviews ON google from past clients through signpost. I got zero new leads through their campaigns and emails.
Answer: Hi Fred, Occasionally we get some unhappy customers, but we have over 7000 happy customers. Feel free to check out the happy ones here: http://www.signpost.com/testimonials/
Answer: You can't 1year contract if you want to cancel you need to pay the rest of the months in one lumpsum.
Answer: Hi Genevieve, we have not analyzed the results of our restoration industry merchants specifically, but we have observed great results for merchants in the home contractor industry! You can check out this area of our website for more insights: https://www.signpost.com/customer-results-home-contractors/
Answer: Hi Frank, Would you mind sending a screenshot of the billing statement you are referencing to support@signpost.com? There should be a complete number listed on all of our communications. In the meantime, the best number to reach us during our business hours of Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm EST is (855) 606-4900 -- our support team would be happy to help you out!
Answer: A contract is reuired, you must pay up front, and they will not allow you to cancel. Stay away!
Answer: Signpost takes a lot of work to reap any benefits; it's not as easy as the pushy sales staff would have you believe. The real problem occurs when you try to leave. They require payment up front (in our case one year), and will not refund anything when you cancel. This is a very shady company, and I would recommend staying away!
Answer: Dave W's [Signpost Rep] above, is a classic example of the problem with Signpost; you can't just cancel the service. They bill you in advance, will not refund what they have billed (even if you quit using the service), and make it very difficult to cancel. You can't just click a button, or send an email, you have to endure a long sales pitch by a tricky, and very aggressive, sales associatte. Best to just stay away! QUOTED FROM DAVE'S RESPONSE: Dave W. [Signpost Rep] On 7/7/17 Hi Albert, Thanks for submitting! You can contact either your sales representative or our support team directly. Our support team can be reached at mia@signpost.com or 855-606-4900. They will connect you with your Account Manager, who will offboard your account with you.
Answer: Good luck John. You will have to endure a long sales pitch from a very pushy sales associate. In our case (sounds like others had similar situations), we had to cancel 30 days before the contract automatically renewed. I contacted Signpost the day after their $2,000 charge appeared on my credit card, and they refused to budge. Nothing... Best to stay away from Signpost!
Answer: Dave W, it sounds like you a have a really terrible job, trying to justify the way Signpost treats clients. In my case, I'm out $2,000 with no recourse, for a one year contract that I don't want. Shame on you!
