We just began our partnership with Signpost and so far, so good! Jonathan did a great job selling us on the reasons we should give them a try, and we just had our first onboarding meeting with Jared. He was very friendly, and knowledgeable with regard to the product. We are extremely new to this online optimization world and Jared made us feel much more comfortable with the whole process! The telephone marketers from signpost are very persistent, it is almost as though the strategy is to wear down the mark. After repeatedly asking about price, and payment options and hearing over and over how great they are, about their 98% retention rate, and the wonderful write up they had in Forbes (a magazine I found about as reliable as the horoscope pages), I was finally put through to a manager (Lauren) who not only lacked the authority and ability to negotiate contracts, but was also rude and incredibly immature.
This is a business I would avoid like the Ebola virus. The reviews I found online were consistent with my experience or even more unfavorable.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from signpost.com

We have substantially increased the feedback we receive from customers. Most of it very positive. For the few negative ones we are able to reach out and correct a situation we would never have known about. The customers love the coupon offers.
Molly was very professional and patient with me during the onboarding process. She called promptly at the appointed time and explained what we needed to do to get things set up correctly with our account. I am very satisfied with the customer service I have received so far, and thankful that I am able to get hold of a live representative if/when I need to.

Great customer service, very helpful. Very little glitches with the system but corrected right away. Only thing that bonks is that some of your reviews to your Yelp page aren't recognized by yelp because they're not organically going through yelp's website.

I used Signpost to improve my business as they promised me but it was all talks, they never did anything to me as they suppose to do and I'm really disappointed, the only thing they did is deduct their payments on time.

We consider Signpost as our personalized Andan Marketing Department! They have so many ways to help improve our business exposure and we've continued with them for years while we have dropped several other advertising efforts. One of the things that we like best about them is helping us manage our online reputation. Through their tools we become aware of service disappointments with our clients and have a chance to connect for corrections before they become negative online reviews. Also, there is no better tool that we've found to help us harvest positive online reviews. In 10 months we have gone from 1 BBB review to 93 reviews, almost all 5 Stars and it's due to Signpost strategies. I'd HIGHLY recommend them for any small business.

So I just got called by the company to set up a time to talk about what they can offer, the woman was really nice right away, and then when we started getting into more about the company I had questions (especially about pricing) that she would not answer, I asked 6 times... but she kept trying to push some demo on me to see what they do, so I went ahead with it. After she found out that I wasn't quite the right fit for what they do, I said I probably agree, but I would love to hear the price to see if in the future I could do something like this, and she persisted on not telling me and she wanted to end the call. She became really rude and agitated that all I wanted to hear was the price of their packages. It was a horrible waste of 30 minutes. I am just upset at how she wanted to hang up on me so fast after I didn't find some of the info to work to my advantage. Show's they don't care.

The company has called me 3 times trying to sell me their services. I've turned them down all 3 times and the sales people have gotten argumentative and rude. I've asked them not to call me again but they obviously don't listen!

Unfortunately, our experience with Signpost has been totally unsatisfactory. They have not provided the services we contracted for and after paying a $500 premium in order to have our own guy, it has been impossible to get a call back in any reasonable amount of time.
At this point, we have requested a refund of the over $3000 that we have paid thus far. We were told that we would be contacted by a supervisor by the end of the daythree days ago.
I guess the only option at this point is to write off the loss or go the legal route.
We really didn't need this but we tried it for a year. But all they do is send emails constantly to customers for feedback. Almost everyone unsubscribed. I wanted to stop and get a refund after a year but they said everything is already set up done and paid for, so no refunds. We have a less than 4 star review through signpost customer email subscriptions and they said that is still helping get to get more customers! We already have high rating on our internally driven customer feedback systems so Signpost actually didn't help and turned out to be an expensive duplication of effort. Now we really aren't marketing for new customers - we need to hire more employees. Unfortunately Signpost can't help with that. Just no refunds.

From the sales call to the use of the product, this company has been exceptional! We have received feedback and reviews from past customers as well as current. Our customers have been very receptive to the emails and offers as well! As the office manager and head of marketing, I am in charge of so many different aspects of the business. It can be very difficult to find time to follow up with clients. This program offers the ability to communicate with the customer and follow up, without having to remember it myself. My favorite feature though, is that if a customer is unhappy at the end of the project, I am alerted so that I can try and resolve the issues right away. I love this company, program and personnel so much so that I recommend it to anyone I can, anytime I can. Thank you so much Signpost!
Our company has been working with Signpost and Kassandra for about 6 months. Over this time our reviews have quadrupled and its helped our business tremendously! We also use their digital ad platform which has been a huge boost to our business.
Pretty good getting reviews helping to know what customers think, and if they are good request reviews outside of singpost. Only drawback is going through contacts and emailing all of your contacts, some of whom are not customers, other business, etc... That part needs to be reviewed before going live.
Sign Post is a great software to help us to grow our business in our community. This is not one of the most important aspect of this company. Answer: A contract is reuired, you must pay up front, and they will not allow you to cancel. Stay away!
Answer: Signpost takes a lot of work to reap any benefits; it's not as easy as the pushy sales staff would have you believe. The real problem occurs when you try to leave. They require payment up front (in our case one year), and will not refund anything when you cancel. This is a very shady company, and I would recommend staying away!
Answer: Dave W's [Signpost Rep] above, is a classic example of the problem with Signpost; you can't just cancel the service. They bill you in advance, will not refund what they have billed (even if you quit using the service), and make it very difficult to cancel. Answer: Good luck John. You will have to endure a long sales pitch from a very pushy sales associate. In our case (sounds like others had similar situations), we had to cancel 30 days before the contract automatically renewed. I contacted Signpost the day after their $2,000 charge appeared on my credit card, and they refused to budge. Nothing... Best to stay away from Signpost!
Answer: Dave W, it sounds like you a have a really terrible job, trying to justify the way Signpost treats clients. In my case, I'm out $2,000 with no recourse, for a one year contract that I don't want. Shame on you!
