I had a problem with delivery date of an item. Preordered something nov 25 with expected delivery date on or before dec 12. Called when order not received and told delivery date had been pushed back to early jan! This was a Christmas gift. The item comes directly from an outside manufacturer so they won't take any responsibility. How about communicating changes in delivery dates?! When I called, I was put on hold 40 minutes to speak with a manager and try to get some resolution. I'm no exaggerating about the time. And before our conversation was finished I was accidentally? Disconnected. Bad business- stay away!
This is the worst company to deal with. Do not buy from them, you will be dissatisfied. They charge in USD even though their site purposely shows a canadian flag on the banner at the top of the website. They trick you on purpose and if you want to return, it will get to their warehouse but they say it cannot be found. I was scammed a total of 300 dollars for a hockey jersey, even though it said it would cost 184 after taxes. Do not trust this site. They also only have one agent working for customer service over the phone and will hold you on the phone for so long before you get to hear their poor excuses for how they messed up entirely. Terrible company. 0/10
I ordered three hoodies for me and my two sons. The product looked like a nice dry fit style sweatshirt. When i got them i realized that i paid two hundred bucks for three tee shirt material fake pullovers that you can easily see through when you hold it up to the light. Complete garbage product. The NHL should be embarrassed to be screwing people over with junk. Never again ordering from this website.
From now on I would rather (and plan to) buy fakes from China than EVER order from these scam artists again. Latest issue w them is I ordered "next day delivery" for an extra $25... Item arrived 7 days later. Their excuse? "Well, there's a tiny fine print that states we have three business days to actually ship it, so "next day delivery" means you'll get it the day after we decide to send it". NEVER AGAIN.
Not surprised to see the poor ratings. Supposed to be a Christmas gift. It's now Jan 11th - the shipping changed and now it shows it "will be" delivered yesterday! No way to reach anyone by phone. Service online just says if it shipped they can't do anything. So now what? I have to pay shipping twice so I can return it to you? No! FedEx is a mess. Find another carrier. Horrible service! You're in FL. I'm in AZ. Inclement weather where?
You need to find a better way to communicate with your customers.
If I could give them NO STARS I would... You're better off going to a mall and buying what you need. I paid for 3 day delivery... I"m getting my purchase 8 days later... WTF. I'm pissed the hell off! This was supposed to arrive before me and my boss were off for the Christmas week. What company does business like this? What the $#*! is so hard about putting a shipping label on a box ON TIME!
I am currently waiting for my 3rd jersey. Returning each one because they put numbers upside down, forget the captains c. Company is ridiculously horrible and slow. If they didn't have a monopoly I would go elsewhere. It is ridiculous that a captain of NHL team also qualifies for a "custom" jersey. What a scam
I wish I had read the reviews on this horrible website before i ordered anything, now I'm stuck with this merchandise and they stole my 25 dollar gift card number after i checked out and didn't apply it to the total balance, I tried to talk to customer service and their phones did not work, i did the chat thing and was lied to about a manager calling me back( after chatting for an hour) which never happened. This customer service is horrendous. Do not order from this place! I reported them to the BBB!
I ordered a Stanley Cup Freezer mug which was delivered in a timely manner. However, after being used 5-6 times, the bottom came off and the freezer gel spilled all over. Upon contacting customer service, I was told it was past the 30 day return window. When a defect does not present itself until after that time frame, I feel exceptions should be made. I would expect the mug to be replaced at no cost. I was offered a $10 store credit but it would cost $20 to replace the mug between the cost of the mug and shipping.
I paid $84.99 for a hoodie - the screen printing is already peeling off & there are loose threads in several spots. They sent another cheap replacement and I had to drive across the city to a FedEx depot to ship back the original. I will NEVER shop at NHLshop again.
Just buy a knockoff - it's the same quality.
Don't bother paying the additional cost for expedited shipping, you won't get it. This is very disappointing, as the item was a gift and I needed it by a specific date. When I contacted customer service to inquire as to why my order wasn't delivered on the date promised, the representative talked in circles and then tried to blame it on FedEx and the USPS. After a 10 minute telephone conversation, which consisted of her becoming quite rude (because I insisted that she refund the difference in shipping charges) and placing me on hold twice to "speak to someone else about it", she abruptly placed me on hold a third time after snapping, "You know what?! I'm just going to issue you a refund on the shipping charges!" She was never able to provide an answer as to why expedited shipping is offered when the company is unable to honor it and as a result, I will never purchase anything from them again.
Ordered a hockey jersey for Christmas and it got lost in the mail. The customer service representative I called was kind and very helpful. She had a replacement jersey shipped out right away and I received it today.
No idea why I paid more than the label but I was upcharged $70. Definitely won't buy from them again. It also took 5 weeks to arrive. No 2 business days to ship out like the site says.
My husband tried ordering me a jersey for Valentine's Day and needless to say we weren't going to receive it by the date we selected even after doing two day shipping. Ruined my first hockey game experience. Thanks.
Awful experience. Will not allow me to return a jersey with a current players name and number. They claim it is custom. What is custom about that. Do not do business with them. Find what you need elsewhere. I would give them zero stars if that was an option.
Ordered some face masks on August 8th and chose 5-10 day delivery (which costs extra). AFTER I paid the order said I can expect my deliver on October 1st (52 days). I immediately called and cancelled my order. They said they would notify me when to expect my refund, but they didn't tell me a date and hung up.
If you can not offer expedited delivery, do not have it as an option upon checkout.
Tried to buy a few items and their site has a banner SCREAMING across the top 30% off sitewide. When i tried to buy 3 items, none would give a discount. Called their customer service and told there are exclusions - however, only one out of 30 items are actually on sale 30% off. Absurd bait and switch tactics - there are literally 10 items out of 1,000 (all crap that never sells) for which this "sitewide" sale applies. The person in customer service at first told me the discount will be "reimbursed after payment" but when pressed, took that back completely. Horrifying - they lost a $230 sale and thanks for nothing-total waste of time.
Like many others-I ordered, my credit card was charged instantly, and then crickets from shop.nhl.com I ordered my item on December 1 with a ship date of "on or before 12/19". Yet as of today, 12/20 still nothing. After 2 online customer service chats, and 2 phone calls to customer service, I was told they would contact the 3rd party warehouse on my behalf-and to be on the look out for an email with a shipping update.
The 1 star is for the kind customer service rep I spoke with today--he did a great job assisting me to the best he could, and was very pleasant on the phone/
Bought two sweatshirts. Shipped in two different orders. Used Paypal (has correct address and used to verify purchase) to pay but Shop.NFL.com decided to send to incorrect address so items were returned. Of course, sweatshirts are no longer available and manager will not allow to price match for another similar item and I would have to pay again the shipping fee. I guess a Merry Christmas from NO CUSTOMER SERVICE shop.NHL.com!
Ordered a jersey with next day shipping by noon and three days later I get an email saying its been delayed. It has now been eight days and I still havent received it. I called to cancel when I got the email, and they said I couldnt cancel because the order was too far along in the process, but yet it still has been a week. I figured this was not the normal situation and was going to return it anyway, so I ordered a different jersey on 6/3. It was supposed to be here on 6/5 and guess what, its now 6/7 and I got nothing. I called support to see where it is and they said it wasnt received by the carrier, so do I want to cancel or have them re deliver? Keep in mind I get no notification about anything. They say it should be here 6/8, yea right. Youre company is a complete joke. I will go out of my way to tell everyone and anyone to never shop on this site. Who ever is in charge of this place is probably a complete moron.
Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
