I've been a fan of the Sabres for some time. Thought I'd try to engage on this website to talk with other fans, only to find out that it's not a legitimate site with legitimate fans! The site is run by management of the team in some sort of capacity.

I can only speak for the Sabres board, but I can say definitively that this board is not legitimate. There are no new members, everyone has thousands upon thousands of posts, and they all agree with one another except for the fake trolls that they have, who they purposely make sound brainless, just to try and give the appearance of some sort of legitimacy. Unfortunately they do such a terrible job of making this charade seem realistic, that they are undoubtedly fooling no one.

Go ahead and sign up if you enjoy spinning your wheels and wasting your time and ultimately getting abused and/or banned for just having an opinion. Truly an embarrassing website that they should be ashamed of.

A discussion forum administered by a group of middle aged unmarried men who were bullied in high school, and filled with trolls who do not understand the concept of bias. Spare yourself the trouble and steer clear from this forum if you want to learn anything about the NHL or hockey in general.

Had my comment deleted and privledges revoked for saying I thought it was silly that nhl 23 had a player that played on a national team that struggles against Junior a teams and has lost to midget teams. All true statements...

If you want a website where you can share your opinion based on fact this is not it!

Have been a member in this community for 20 years. Noticed that the ads on the site have become a huge problem a few years ago, and it keep getting worse. At one time, the community had decent moderators. However, since the introduction of the anonymous "TrollStomer," the user can find themselves getting infractions for no other reason that to cheer for the wrong team. The generic "TrollStomer has less to do with moderating, and more to do with Moderators getting even with long time posters they personally do not care for. It's getting to the point that even reddit is better for discussing hockey.

Not some of the worst mods on forums, the absolute worst mods on any forum i've been to bar none, don't you dare have a different opinion from a mod or one of the mods friends/supporters or limits,bans and outright account deletion with no explanations or any kind of appeals and judgments all while being absolutely drowned in ads, you would get better hockey discussions with crazy minor league hockey parents, stay far away, one star rating simply isn't low enough, -5 at the very least.

Have been a member since 2008, used to be a great place.

Controlled by biased bully mods who gang up
On posters they do not agree with.

No way to complain unless you are a sponsor or comfy with a mod.

Will label and defame you for a difference of opinion - Mods have a serious power trip going on.

Consistency in moderation is non exsistent.

A site with a great concept but managed by dubious moderators. Private messages are spy too.

Hockey is very secondary. Its above all a political site (woke +++) who seeks to erase others.

Hockey is also regularly insulted and denigrated by this band who never talk about hockey.

The dominant atmosphere is contempt for orhers. Each of your messages will be contradicted and mocked by someone.

Discussions are shallow and go around in circles with users who modify your thinking to make you a fool.

The site is therefore the place of a cultural battle led and managed by political activists rather than hockey fans.

The mods hide behind a "Troll Stomper" so you never know who is "Warning" you. Yea so it's likely the guy who you disagreed with in an earlier thread who then went to find a 3 weeks old post and thinks it's "Trolling". Place turned into a $#*! hole. Stay away.

The moderators are, for the most part, okay people. However, there are a few overzealous folks who take their "jobs" way too seriously and permanently ban 15-year members for questioning post moderation decisions.

The generic "Troll Stomper" modbot is a ridiculous and cowardly way to enforce rules, and once you're banned you can't even read your messages to find out why exactly you got banned.

There are some good and knowledgeable folks there, but there's a reason Bob McKenzie (publicly) thinks the place is awful.

Stay far away. Try Reddit.

These forums used to be wonderful. However, there has been a shift where seasoned hockey minds with knowledge and respect for the game (mostly veteran posters) are being trolled, censored and shutdown simply for stating their opinions. The admins and mods are on a massive, fascist power trip and will silence anyone who doesn't share their opinion. In addition, multiple pages have been blocked by MalwareBytes for being a trojan. If the owners care about these forums, there needs to be a severe adjustment quick. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and block all their ads.

Pretty much a place were virgin dorks who never will accomplish anything in life outside of collecting disability checks gather to jerk each other off and pretend they matter. Mods on this site tend to ban you for not agreeing with their personal opinions. I couldn't imagine what they look like in real life, probably something similar to that fat world of warcraft guy from southpark.

I used to love this community but the moderator situation has gotten so horrible. The people that troll and skirt the rules game the system by reporting posts of people that respond to them. There's practically zero ability to communicate with mods or admins in any constructive fashion and most of the infractions are passed out by a stupid bot they call "Troll Stomper." They only moderate reactions to problematic posts, and almost never do they do anything about the problematic posts themselves. I still love the folks on some of the individual team boards, particularly the Canes board, but the main forum areas are a cesspool of rule skirters and outright trolls that never seem to get caught.

Where to even begin. This place is a haven for middle aged men who still live in mom and dads basement. The kind of person who will say whatever through a keyboard if it fits their narrative but who also would shy away from any kind of personal confrontation in the real world. Logic be damned, truth be damned, common sense be damned. I visit once a year to see if anything has changed and each time I end up vomiting heavily in my bathroom. I truly hope their membership at large gets a dose of reality sometime soon.

Mods are all idiots. Average age of fan is probably 15. Very toxic clowns both posters and mods.

It's a place where no one gets along and the mods act like Nazis. Stay away!
