In May of 2002 and May of 2006, my mother-in-law purchased several Lucelle Raad "seriolithographs" on board a cruise ship. The "appraised value" certificates range from $500 to $780. After she passed away, we had these at a gallary in Bay head NJ, quite an affluent spot, for maybe 1/3rd of these levels, none even received a bid.
I then did a little recon and discovered there were hundreds of identical prints on Ebay and other sites at prices that looked like a fire sale.
Two months ago, they went on various sites like OfferUp and Facebook marketplace for $20 per. So far I have had one inquiry for one of the prints which they failed to even show up to buy.
Before purchasing anything from these guys, do yourself a favor- read all their negative reviews on all the typical sites, then make your "investment" decision. https://www.quora.com/What-is-seriolithograph-Why-did-Park-West-Gallery-decided-to-name-it-like-that https://news.artnet.com/market/park-west-cruise-seller-new-york-gallery-******* Selling to elderly cruise passengers after cocktail hour- shameful. This "art" is basically worthless.
