Ordered a hoodie and long sleeve shirt; shipped separately; have only received 1 package; they have my money; but I am still out shirt! Its been 2 weeks! Can't get any response via email; been waiting on hold for 30 minutes!
Ordered a jersey, got confirmation email. Was told it would ship in 3 business days. They take my payment. Get email over a week later, can't get info from warehouse. Go online to chat agent, assures me the jersey had shipped and I'm just not receiving shipping updates. Next day, get an email. They legit cancelled my order and said it's now out of stock. Call them up to see what's going on. I'm told the system sells faster than their inventory can track so they can't do anything for me. I ask why they told me it shipped already then? She doesn't know, can off me 10% off a different jersey though. What a joke. I've contacted the BBB and will be happy to speak to the media about this, clearly I am not the only one to experience this. This company is an embarrassment and a scam. Everyone, flood the better business bureau with your experiences so we can get this garbage site shut down!

Bought an Montreal Canadian Adirondack chair in early January 2019 with a ship date of March. After multiple attempts to reach NHL shop, I was told it was back ordered. Then was delayed again. After a 4th request, I got an email in May 2019 (4 months after purchase) the order cannot be processed with this mention: ''When we're unable to fulfill an order it's usually because the item is no longer available or because it's a custom order in violation of team licensing guidelines''. But the item is still available for purchase...
Ordered a hoody. Shipping is 2 weeks. It won't be here in time for the game. Can't cancel the order even though it hasn't shipped. Terrible terrible customer service. I will never buy from them again not that they care.
This website has been a resounding shipwreck since Fanatics took over the management of it. They eliminated quality control and minimized / eliminated customer service. I will not allow them to take my money just to frustrate me with delayed shipping and then their refusal to have someone address my concerns. Good riddance deadheads. I am going to enjoy ignoring you. I ordered on Nov 14 and was promised 14 day delivery. After I checked my account the jersey was slated to arrive Feb 2021. Cripes!
Order a jersey for the 'black friday sale', which really wasn't a sale since it's still the same price a month later. Anyway, waited the 12 business days to find out my order was 'lost', but by now it won't arrive by christmas so I have to find one in person. The reps were helpful and friendly, but could offer me no reason to test last minute delivery before christmas; as well as no guarantee my package would arrive this time.
Overall, there is just no point to ordering a jersey from shop.nhl.com. Just go to your local sports store. It will be faster, cheaper and you can be sure it's what you want.
I do not intend to order something from them ever again.
I recommend you purchase pro wear from another vendor. Shipped late. Didn't meet delivery deadlines and the tshirt is low quality. In my opinion, they are not customer friendly!
Refunded the $16 i paid to get it here soon. Didn't send full order. Customer service is all "No Refund"
This company has lost contact with basic core principals of business. They are so self absorbed that they have forgotten that its not about them, its about their customers. They cant keep their own timetables or keep even a simple promise. I paid extra for guaranteed delivery... they sat on it for 5 days before shipping, and no, it did NOT get here on time! When you try to resolve issues through customer service they hold up flamming hoop after flaming hoop to make you do their jobs for them.
What I received looked like a cheaply made overseas knockoff. Cant believe how much I paid for late delivery and poor quality merch!
Buy local so you can guarantee your own quality and stay away from these guys, you mean nothing to them.
Customer service. TERRIBLE. Timely shipping. TERRIBLE. Ability to assist with expediting order as needed. Terrible. I cannot begin to describe how unpleasant this experience was. Mind-blowingly bad. Worse that cable companies and worse than used car salesman.

Similar many of the recent reviews, I ordered a hat and shirt to celebrate the Caps winning the Cup. Unfortunately it took almost a whole month for them to figure out that neither the hat nor the shirt could be fulfilled, even though the web site still shows them both as being available only hours after refunding (at least they got that right) my full purchase price. They were even going to upgrade me to 2-day shipping but they couldn't even deliver that. (News flash: it's not 2-day shipping if it takes more than a week to physically ship an item!)
Ordered 2 products on November 30th, Delivery "attempted" Dec 6th by Landmark Global. Was home all day no delivery driver ever came by. No hub to pick up the order at and it is automatically returned to the U.S. Multiple calls to customer service, one agent promised a package with the same products be re-shipped which it never was. Will not receive the items in time for Xmas. Refund process will take 10 business days then another 2 to 10 business days to post in my account. Anxious to see if I will actually get a refund after all this. Currently on hold for over 15 mins waiting for an agent.
This is why I only order from Amazon. Unfortunately I had to order elsewhere to get what I wanted in time for Christmas. Yeah, that still didn't happen. The NHL needs to find another company to do their team apparel because this one couldn't be any worse. I also got gifted items from here that are all too small and appear to be very cheap quality. All of it is way too expensive! Whatever happened to the bigger brands like Reebok, Nike, Majestic, Starter, '47, etc? This brand sucks!
Ordered my jersey about a month ago with 3-7 business day shipping. The order came in the right time however they sent a jersey THREE SIZES too big. I immediately contacted customer service to get the correct jersey sent and a return label for the incorrect sized jersey. Obviously I was annoyed, but I know mistakes happen. About 20 days later I had still not received an email that the correct jersey had been shipped. I contacted customer service and they told me that there was an error of some sorts so they had refunded me for the jersey but had failed to send me an email letting me know this was happening. After all this time of waiting around for the jersey that I ordered a month ago, I find out its never coming. Never shopping here again.
I ordered a sweatshirt for my son. When it arrived, I was very unsatisfied with the quality so I decided to, return it. Unfortunately there was no return label included in the package. I contacted customer service who said they would email one. It was never received. After 3 - 4 more attempts at trying to get one emailed, I requested one be mailed to my home address. I was assured, on 2 different occasions, that it was mailed, lo and behold, it was never recieved. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. After approximately 3-4 weeks of going back and forth, I finally decided to give up. I donated the $60.00 brand new (with tags still attached) sweatshirt to charity. I will never, ever even think about ordering from this website again. I only wish I had read all the awful reviews prior to placing my order in the first place.
I placed an order in early December, fully understanding there could be a delay in shipping due to the holidays. As I was still waiting I kept getting emails reminding me the item was available. Late December there was a tracking notice that the package was damaged but no communication from the shop. Date of delivery passed early January, I contacted customer service and was informed it was lost in shipping. They agreed to resend, now scheduled for mid February. Please do not give these people any money.
Possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered two jersey's, both with names of players on the team. First jersey was cancelled because the player's name was too long - even though it was included in the "drop down menu" on the jersey page. To fix this solution it took 3 separate cancellations, reorders, refunds, and a constant struggle for them to give me the same discount I got on the original order. While the customer service representatives are trying to be helpful, there is just never a solution. Avoid if possible.
I ordered a jersey from here and while it shipped and arrived quite fast, they had sent me 3 sizes smaller than what I ordered. It turns out customer service is impossible to get ahold of and half of the website is non-functional... particularly the links for starting returns. The info is all there, they are very clear about how to return it, but none of the links are functional to start the return. Customer service constantly says that "We're available to help 24/7!... but not right now. Check back later!" I've been checking back multiple times a day for two weeks and it's literally never open. I even got desperate and attempted to contact them through Facebook, but still no response. I completely wasted 280 dollars on this website and it's non-existent customer service!
I have a hard time finding San Jose merchandise for sale in Ontario so I order most things offline. My husband ordered me a sweater and touque from nhl.com for an anniversary present. It has been pending for a week and after talking with customer service yesterday and reading more reviews, I am not impressed at all with their service. They have more disclaimers than help for their customers. I would not feel comfortable ordering anything from this site ever again. I am very disappointed with the whole process, the lack of info and customer security provided.
This has been a very frustrating process. I ordered a Senators jersey, black, and I received an orange one. Everyone makes mistakes so even though I was disappointed, I was not annoyed. What is frustrating though, is the customer service. I have looked on how to proceed with an exchange and I first have to give my email address. Makes sense, not a problem, except that the site does not recognize my address and therefore, I must have entered the wrong one. If I've entered the wrong one, then why did I receive 2 emails from you about order conformation and a shipment conformation. Now I'm wondering if I will be stuck with this jersey, which is a gift. Super disappointed and annoyed! I ordered on the Canadian site and when I tried to proceed with a return, it automatically sent me to the American site, which might explain why it doesn't recognize my email!?! Not sure, either way the customer service is left to be desired!
Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
