Takes approximately three months for any order to arrive and there's zero customer service to explain why or when your order may finally arrive. Quality of product is low as well. Use literally any other option.
I should've read these reviews before I ordered. 100% agree with everything everyone here has said. You WON'T get it on time. You WON'T get help when you call. Their customer service department does NOT care. You WON'T be allowed to cancel the order once they take your money.

When you order a manufacturer direct item. You must now understand that nhlshop now has no responsibility at all. I ordered two caps t shirts. A Wilson and a Smith pelly. I got them in the mail. They had the right name and numbers. But with hurricanes logos on the front. I called them to return this order that nobody but a donation shop in africa would want. But they washed their hands of the order and emailed the manufacturer to have them email me a return label... Still waiting on the email to set up the return label. And also my money will not be refunded now till the return is complete. So I guess I can kiss that 65 bucks goodbye. Such gosh darn BS. Refund the damn order and or send the right product. These people that run this site are just nasty businessmen that can't deliver on their promises. This is not my first issue with this site. But it is my last
I only write reviews if things are great, or they are terrible. NHL was terrible. I bought an item for my 4 year old nephew. They sent the wrong item (adult large of a different team) a week late. Truly was a terrible experience. I would not use them again and figure out another place to get NHL gear.
I place an order and none of the discounts were applied. I signed up giving them and a partner rights to send spam, but that discount and free shipping was not applied. When I called to get it corrected, I held 10 minutes, then was put on hold by a customer service agent who never came back on the line. I'm cancelling the order and will never shop with them again.
The reviews say it all - I bought 2 jerseys which aren't real jerseys, and the numbers were coming off in 2 wears. Even though the website says 90 days return, mine was "direct from the manufacturer " so only 30 days to return. It was 31 days so I can suck it. And best part is there is no phone number for customer service! This was on online chat.

So mid November I order a personalized jersey for my son in law. I requested the number 42. The back of the jersey is 42 but on both sleeves the put 24. Really? You had one job. And when you call to find out if you can get the item replaced and do it correctly they just conveniently happened to be out of stock.
Just ordered a NY Rangers jersey for my daughter for Christmas. This site used to have good, quality jerseys but now sells Fanatics brand. This brand is complete garbage! The numbers on the jersey are cheap iron on patches that will peel off in the wash not embroidered. Worst part is they charge the same price as jersey's that sell on other websites that are a much better quality. Now I'm out the money since it is not a returnable item.
I would avoid this company. In my experience, I ordered an item that never got delivered. I kept receiving emails saying the item had been delayed and a new delivery date was provided. The item never came so after 4 months, several phone calls and emails I finally was able to get a refund. It's disappointing that this company is unable to fulfill their obligations and deliver their products. This company seems completely unreliable and I would discourage anyone from wasting their time with them.
Received a jersey with the incorrect number on the back. The real number is 37 and the back says 73. However, the sleeve is correct. Was told the company is out of this product and they can't do anything but refund me which will take 10 business days to process after the 7 business days to get the item sent back to them. They offered a 20% coupon, upon my complaint to a manager, however can't just give me a custom jersey. I spent good money to get a product that was awful and was told they can effectively do nothing. It's ridiculous that they can't correct their error and the customers have to suffer. Being it's Christmas I can't afford another jersey and won't get refunded until late January. Will not ever recommend this site or company to anyone.
I ordered a Duncan Keith Winter Classic Jersey (#2). I received a Murphy (#5). After talking with customer service, she issued a return label and a new order and specifically instructed the warehouse to send me what I ordered. Package #2 came and guess what!? It was another Murphy jersey. Now they are out of stock. I'm not convinced they were ever in stock of what I ordered. Never doing business with them again. Sorry NHL!
Ordered a jersey from them & when the package arrived it was for the wrong team. Contacted them several times about getting the correct one shipped. They asked us to keep the wrong order, pay them $30 more & they would ship out the correct one. We filed a dispute with our credit card company. We didn't know this company is in China (not Canada).
I ordered a personalized hoodie. The hoodie has been worn about 8 times - washed 2-3 times and never put in the dryer. The name on the back is fading and the final letter of the name is disappearing. Asked for a refund or replacement and they refused since it was over 30 days from order time. Very poor quality merchandise...
I spent over $250.00 on a jersey with a PLAYERS name on it. All I wanted was to exchange for a different size and they said NO! I have spent so much money with this company in this past. I will never spend another dime with them and make sure anyone I remotely even speak about Hockey to will know my experience. Can't wait for the next Caps game to spread the word about how horrible this company is! They care not about their customers satisfaction or if you post on social media, or spread by mouth. They have your money why do they care if your happy about it because people will continue to spend? BUYERS BEWARE! A$$hats!
I ordered a jersey for my son on 11/27 with 2 day shipping and received an email it would arrive on 12/15. Under the circumstances I understand not getting 2 day shipping. On 12/15 I called to check on the order because it did not show up and they told me it would be shipping 1/8/2021! So much for a Christmas gift, but why did I have to call to find this out? No email updates. No time to get another jersey by Christmas. Customer service was horrible in handling this and blamed it on the warehouse.
Item sizing completely different to measurements on site.
No answer to phone calls - "automated" returns online not working - took three emails to get a generic and incorrect response.
Finally able to return and refusal to cover return postage despite fault with their measurements.
Will not used again. Ever.
Shipping took over 2 weeks and kept getting pushed back, needed it for my dad's birthday but it didnt come. I have called them, fedex, my local post office NO HELP. Their customer service line drops automatically.

Ordered a jersey, got confirmation email. Was told it would ship in 3 business days. They take my payment. Get email over a week later, can't get info from warehouse. Go online to chat agent, assures me the jersey had shipped and I'm just not receiving shipping updates. Next day, get an email. They legit cancelled my order and said it's now out of stock. Call them up to see what's going on. I'm told the system sells faster than their inventory can track so they can't do anything for me. I ask why they told me it shipped already then? She doesn't know, can off me 10% off a different jersey though. What a joke. I've contacted the BBB and will be happy to speak to the media about this, clearly I am not the only one to experience this. This company is an embarrassment and a scam. Everyone, flood the better business bureau with your experiences so we can get this garbage site shut down!
Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
