I ordered four items from shop.nhl.com and One of the items was damaged. Sent a message and they said they would ship me another of the items that was damaged. I received the item 2 days later. No hassles no problems. Awesome customer service.!
I paid the 5 bucks to ship the hoodie back for a refund. It's been a month and no refund. I emailed them and they said they received it and would process in 10 days. This place is the worst. Never ever again.
We ordered face masks on 6/24, and of course, couldn't use the discount code for said order, and never have been able to use the discount codes in the past. It is 7/17 and we still haven't received our package. The last known tracking status was on 7/8 when fedex delivered to the USPS. When I go to track the package through the USPS, their site says they haven't received the package. I cannot get a hold of a live person from the post office, and judging by the comments here, it is useless to stay on hold to call nhlshop.
Ordered a hockey jersey for Christmas. Was never delivered on date promised and returned to the company. When calling customer service they advised that we could not get it for the same discounted price and would need to purchase at regular price. This company is a complete JOKE as well as there shipping company LASERSHIP
I ordered two jerseys in November 2015. One arrived but the other was delayed for some unknown reason. I finally received a reply to one of my many emails stating that I should receive my late jersey by Dec 15. What a crock! I have received no replies to my numerous emails and have been on hold for 49 minutes. No one can tell me where the jersey is. Apparently once the item leaves the NHL.com facility they have no way to track the item or contact the courier to ensure they meet the customer satisfaction guidelines. WOW, once they get your money they do not give a $#*!. When I asked for a refund, the rep stated it could take up to 10 business days, I'm not confident I'll see the refund in that time! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE, IT IS A JOKE! Unfortunately I have to give them one star because no starts is not an option.
Ridiculous. Will never order again. When you can't deliver an item a full 2 1/2 weeks after ordering something is terribly wrong.
Save yourself the trouble and hassle, go to your local sporting goods or fan store.
Ordered two jerseys, like everyone else, thought it was in Canadian... wasn't. Anyways shipping took forever and the delivery company used "landmark global" never updated their tracking info. So when they did, it says undeliverable cus they showed up after my office was closed and the next day you'd think they'd try again to deliver but instead they sent it back to Ohio. And now cus the jerseys are out of stock, shop NHL told me I would only get a refund and not the items. These were Xmas presents for my husband and son. Thanks a lot of ruining my Christmas.
Bought a hoodie for brother for Christmas, ordered it on the 26th of November. It's now January 8th and still no hoodie not even a shipping date. I've called at least 5 times and get the same BS each time that all they can do is send a message to the manufacturer! How many messages have to be sent before something is done?! If someone took my money and didn't give me what I paid for within 2 months I feel that's just stealing! I know I won't be shopping here again
Ordered jersey at 10pm at night, attempted to cancel 20 minutes later after seeing it would not even ship for tw0 weeks after the season ended, they said someone began working on it already (at 10 pm within 30 minutes) and non cancel-able. If that was true it would have shipped next day. Feel like they robbed me of $300. Dirtbags
So I ordered my dad a poster autographed by Larkin & Zetterberg for Christmas last week (23rd of NOV) and received a payment confirmation from PayPal but nothing from NHL.shop.ca. Probably won't get a notification about shipment either. I've tried emailing them, nothing, tried calling them and actually had the customer help line hang up on me (wtf?). Needless to say, NHL. Shop needs to fix the customer help line when it comes to orders. Here's hoping my order arrives in time for Christmas.
I placed an order on Sunday, September 25th for a pair of sweatpants and a World Cup of Hockey decal. The decal said it would take 5 business days to ship which is totally fine, but it's been 10 business days and my order still says new. I've tried contacting them via phone, online help, email and twitter and have not received a response.
The three other times I ordered from this site were fine, but after this experience I will not be shopping with them again. I just want my money back at this point, but who knows if I will.
I ordered a custom away jersey from the NHL shop. After it arrived, I noticed some lifting on the logo on the front; I assumed it just wasn't stitched all the way to the edges and ignored it. I wore the jersey once. When I got home at the end of the day, I noticed a letter was missing from the name on the back. Upon further investigation, I realized that every logo, letter, and number on the jersey was GLUED ON! I immediately contacted customer service and got a prompt "oops, our bad" email and they agreed to send me a replacement.
So, I waited the two full weeks for the new Jersey and then sent my old one back. Sure enough, one wear later and TWO letters fell off. Now the back numbers are hanging off and the name is missing four letters. That's just from moving it around in my closet. I imagine if I'd washed it, it'd just be a plain white Jersey with nothing on it! It's shameful that they feel gluing is an adequate substitute for stitching.
I will NEVER ORDER from the NHL shop again.
Ordered a Boston bruins jersey. Patrice Bergeron, winter classic jersey. The jersey arrived in a decent time but they didn't put the alternate captain badge on the chest. I called to see about getting it shipped to me and I would have it placed myself. The customer service agent proceeded to explain to me that they don't wear captain or alternate badges anymore. Completely ridiculous.
I ordered a Christmas present in October. I received the vest with the numbers reversed. I had to send it back. I ordered a second one. On December 5th. Supposed to receive on January 28. Postponed to February 14. And I even received a message TODAY that they were canceling my order because they no longer had the item I ordered TWO MONTHS ago! In addition, for the inconvenience, they give you a promo code that only works with a limited number of items! NEVER AGAIN! Atrocious service!
Item on website shows it will ship in 4 business days. Item on receipt after order shows it will ship within 4 business days. Item shipped 3 weeks later with another week for it to arrive. Ridiculous. Eleven year old son saved up his money to purchase a hoodie and it is now 13 days later and it finally has been dropped off at FedEx. He may not get to wear it to a game.
Order kept getting delayed so Christmas gift received on Feb. 10th, and it was the wrong size.
Will not refund as it was personalized. It was a gift so super embarrassing. Not to mention being out over 200.00.

A group of us (nine) tried to order a players jersey (for a friends birthday) but it was only available in xxl. So I ordered it from the custom jerseys where you can pick any player you want (playing extra). I ordered it on January 14th and the date today is February 2nd and it hasn't shipped out yet. I am not one to get upset about things like this, but as it is for someone else I am a little embarrassed. I got two emails saying that it has not shipped and I appreciate that very much but I have not gotten one in the past few weeks. The website told me that it would ship in three days, and I know that that's not always the case but maybe take that off your website so that you do not piss off your customers.
I ordered a William Karlsson (Vegas Golden Knights) jersey for my husband for his birthday. Unfortunately I ordered it a size too big. I wanted to return it and they wouldn't let me because they said it was a custom jersey. The only thing that deemed it custom was that they didn't have the players name in stock. They don't have MOST players names in stock, so what are our options people? The "supervisor" Christina was RUDE beyond belief. I took 2 minutes reading her comments and thinking out my response only to be met with "HELLO? ARE YOU THERE?". Worst policy ever. If I had known this I would have NEVER bought from you. I've purchased 3 jerseys and other items and this is the only time I've needed an exchange. NOT a return, but an exchange. I'm beyond disappointed and upset.
Wish I could put a negative star. I called to ask a question about a promotion code not processing. The rude lady on the phone told me is wasn't processing because it wasn't valid for jerseys. I informed her that a friend of mine had just used the same promo code the day before and it processed for her fine. She told me that were was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to someone else that could help me and she hung up one me!
Made my order on the 26 th of November. Was to be given as a birthday present 2 weeks later. Here it is the 19th of December and attending a game tomorrow and still have not received the jersey. 7 days just to process the fricken order than it went to Fedex and now in the hands of the Post Office. Been given 3 different delivery dates and still nada. Now their advertising a Garentte of revived on all products order today by Christmas. How is it that I ordered my close to a month ago and still don't have my product! This is complete bull$#*!!
Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
